For…read morethe most part, if you have visited a similar massage place specializing in reflexology, then you have essentially visited LJY. Since moving to the NE part of Nashville, I have been looking for a massage spot to call my own. While walk-in places are great, I enjoy a good appointment and on the day that I was in need, LJY was had availability and the option to book online. It was mid-afternoon on a Friday, so I had the place to myself and the masseur was working alone for majority of our session. I went with the Combination B, which was 60 minute table and 30 minute foot. The massages were great, pressure was spot on and all the trouble areas were handled. My only gripe is that the masseuse had to leave the room and massage on several occasions due to lobby traffic. This took away from being able to fully disconnect and relax for a solid 90 minutes. Overall, I am undecided on my return. I enjoyed, but the mental part of a massage is just as important as the physical for me.

I was desperate to find relief for the burning pain in my shoulder. Erica assessed my needs and worked with my body. My session was completely personalized as she worked with different modalities to ease my tension (aromatherapy, massage, and cupping)! She was so in tune to everything I said out loud or not. The atmosphere was calming and all the conversation we had never felt forced. Whether I wanted to ask a question or relax in silence, she graciously obliged. Erica is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and explained the science of my pain. I was a visitor to Nashville and told her I was searching for a massage therapist I could see regularly in my state. She offered to help me look for someone because she has connections in my area!! Honestly, I can't recommend BPS enough. Thank you so much Erica for everything. The place was clean, the bed had a heater too! The room smells like essential oils and has relaxing music. Sharonda was really customer oriented. The massage was good but her hands are for the sensitive person definitely. I'm captain crunch when it comes to my muscles so I need that good firm pressure so they can really work on the trigger points. She do not do trigger point therapy. She asked me what area I wanted to focus on so I told her but I also said I wanted a full body massage. she spent most of the time on the focus area. I felt she rushed a bit on the other areas and they were not really addressed enough. Other than that I think she is a good therapist if you just want a back rub with a light pressure.
