Ever since moving to this side of town, I have been searching for a small, local massage spot to call my own when the need for good relaxation and/or reflexology is needed. While Diamond Massage may not be my foot massage spot, and I will elaborate why, it did meet the mark for a great body massage. First, Diamond Massage sits at the back of a small shopping plaza on Gallatin Pike that features a barber, T-Mobile and a few other shops. Parking is not an issue. The place is small with the entry/lobby having enough room for one person to sit while waiting along with the front desk area...then there is a small area to the left of the front door that features a curtain and two foot massage chairs. This is the reason I am not super sold on the foot massage part of Diamond Massage. It is hard to disconnect and fully relax with the front door and front desk mere feet from you. You can hear everything and the coming and going does the opposite for your mind than a massage is supposed to. I do enjoy a good combo massage with 30 minute foot and 60 minute body, which is what I got here. Price was not bad, as it cost $100 for the 90 minutes. This included hot stone as well. The body massage was great, table was comfortable and the masseuse, which I assumed to be the owner, was kind, friendly and in tune with what I was after. The only thing that was a bummer was she was the only one fielding calls, so when someone called she would quietly answer while massaging. Again, made it hard for me to completely shut down. Overall, good value with a few things to work through. I will give them another try, but will take my airpods to cut out any noise or distractions. read more

I've been looking for place in Nashville to get a good, affordable, therapeutic massage (after my local massage place shut down) and I finally found it! Easy parking, clean, relaxing rooms with comfortable tables. Emma, my masseuse, was knowledgeable and very attentive to my requests. I left feeling so much better after a stressful week. You charged me and my brother who are both black BEFORE our appointment which I did not like. I have been to this place before 4months ago with college friend who was a white women and when she paid, you waited until AFTER the appointment to charge us. I had an amazing massage today by May. She could tell that I was in a lot of pain and she worked diligently to take care of my problem areas in my lower back and shoulder. She went the extra mile to use hot stones and even a Chinese medicine to help me have some relief. I have never had anyone focus that much on helping me out with the amount of concern and compassion that she showed. I would highly recommend this place. Truly, a hidden gem. Had a great 90 min deep tissue massage here and I left blissed out. The massage therapist was attentive to my body's needs and worked out all the kinks. The atmosphere is clean and relaxing and it was reasonably priced. Def telling my friends about it! read more

Went again. This would be my 4th time. I fell asleep while getting a massage, well the masseuse took advantage of this and rubbed my leg in the same place while she thought I was sleep. Oh my goodness this was amazing I came in with a sore shoulder and a kink in my neck and I'm leaving with none of that and No headache - just feeling great ready to come back next week. I told them that I had a injury at the small of my back and that's where he focused the hot stones and I really suggest it. I hadn't thought hot stones could be better than a heating pad, I'm a convert. I also just completed physical therapy on my knee and the massage on my leg muscles felt amazing. Yesterday my boyfriend and I went to get a couples massage as an early Valentine's Day gift and while the front desk receptionist was nice she asked us to pay first, instead of after our massage as any other service industry business does. Secondly, she solicited tips for both masseuse's again PRIOR to our massage. Third, she gave us wine in a TINY SAMPLE cup that we swallowed in one gulp literally. Lastly, while my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his massage from the female masseuse, I on the other hand at STILL in pain from the extremely rough and PAINFUL massage I received from the male masseuse even though I advised him when he asked if I was okay he still continued to what felt like put ALL of his upper body strength into my spinal cord which is still extremely tender, keep in mind I'm not a heavy or obese woman, I'd characterize myself as being medium to slim built for my height. So all in all I would NOT recommend this place unless you want to be in pain afterwards especially if the same man does your massage. Huge disappointment to say the least!!! read more

My husband and I were bored one day and decided to get a massage close on our place. We were actually looking for a different spa when we came across this one. We got the couple's massage for about $110 and I thought they did really good! Look, this isn't a fancy massage place. You're not going to get candles and champagne with your couple's massage. Couple's massage for them literally just mean you're in a room together. The ladies who gave us massages were really nice, too. I timed it just to make sure we were getting what we paid for and what do you know, it was exactly an hour! They also do shorter massages for feet and hands. One of the worst massages I've ever had...they were advertising a $50 special but insisted on being paid up front and the charge was $60. I specifically asked for a deep tissue massage, but the Lady I got did more of a 'sensuous rub', that is when she was actually in the room doing anything. During the hour she began by deliberately folding the sheet, unfolding it, positioning it, re-positioning it, rubbed on my shoulders a bit, then left for several minutes and returned with a fan, which she adjusted for several minutes - rubbed a little bit more, then messed with the sheet, then adjusted the fan, then messed with the sheet some more, then unplugged the fan and took it out of the room, and on and on it went. Very frustrating experience...I guess they know they'd best collect the money up front - some people wouldn't pay for the kind of service I received there read more
