sunny massage is the best massage, i got a massage over there and the workers there are really nice, i will come back!

If you're looking for a no-frills, affordable massage, this is your place! I've had a couple of massages here and the staff is kind and friendly. I noticed they also have the bars on the ceiling as well, I'm assuming if you want the masseuse to walk on your back? Anyway, the masseuse will get up on the table to really use their full body (nothing inappropriate!) but also they will communicate and ensure that they are applying the pressure that you want. I think my only critique is she spent a lot of time on my back and I wish she would have evened it out a bit to other parts of my body as well. read more

I've tried a lot of different massage places and my massage was great! The massage lady actually listened to my body and asked what pressure I wanted and if it was right throughout the massage. Different techniques were used that actually felt great vs just hammering away on one part of my back with one technique. She paid attention to my neck, face, chest, feet, and other body parts that are often missed. She also went a fully 60 minutes without cutting corners. I'll definitely come back! read more

I want to keep this place a secret but also want to give the recognition they deserve. This is my best hidden gem find in nashville. The prices are fair and the massages are amazing. Took my fiancé there and he loved it so much. They are always extremely accommodating and understanding!!! read more

Sunny Massage - Massage Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

I have reviewed this business in the past. I've been getting massages for many years. This place is my go to. The staff is super friendly and the massages are so relaxing. The bathrooms are absolutely spotless. It's refreshing to see that these days. I get several massages each week and will always go to Sunny. read more

I'm not sure who the management of Sunny Massage is, but I hope this reaches them. My fiancé booked a 90 minute massage for me at 1:30pm today at Sunny Massage and I am disappointed and feel violated. I arrived a couple minutes before 1:30pm and I checked in at the front desk and my fiancé paid for my massage. I was brought back to a room by the receptionist who gave zero instruction and just left. I laid on the table and waited for my masseuse. A woman arrived and did not ask me any questions (normally in past massages I'm asked what areas I'd like massaged, any injuries, etc). She started massaging me and it was excruciatingly painful. I had to stop her probably 8-10 times throughout my massage to tell her it was too hard. I contemplated walking out cause it was so painful. I was extremely uncomfortable when she pulled down my underwear. I quickly pulled them back up and she pulled them back down. She massaged my butt which was inappropriate. In all my years of getting a massage nobody has ever done that - nor should anyone ever do that. The masseuse also got on the bed I was lying on and when I was face down was straddling me. I'm not sure if I need to file a police report or not. I feel completely violated and upset with this experience. Not only do I feel bad my fiancée wasted his money, I'm also home and noticed all kinds of bruising down my back. This is not okay and somebody needs to be made aware. I'm embarrassed and uncomfortable. read more

I'm kind of torn here because I wanted to give a 5 star based on the massage experience itself. It was probably the best massage I have gotten. However when the massage was over and I head to the front to give her the tip she earned for doing such a great job she stormed past me very angrily and slammed a small water into me as she passed. I was very thrown off by this and questioned ito myself if it was something I did but I know I didn't do anything besides say thank you at the end of my massage. It was pretty uncomfortable experience. I want to reiterate I have been here 3 times now and they have been able to get me in on short notice and every time the massage was great. I hate to not give this place 5 stars based on the massages alone but the awkward situation that occurred kind of made me want to go elsewhere in the future. read more

I wish I could rate this closer to 4.5 stars! A nice massage for the price, though not necessarily the most amazing massage. Pretty great for the price! read more

Went to Sunny Massage this weekend and I had the exact same experience as Katie R. No questions regarding the massage like normal including sore muscles or injuries. I had to tell them too hard many times. Underpants pulled lower than what I wanted. At other places, if you don't mind your butt being touched you take off your panties/underwear; otherwise, they should not go lower than your panty line. Had multiple bruises on my back by Sunday...massage was on Saturday. Would NEVER go back. I'm shocked by the 5 star reviews. Must be by family members. read more

The ladies here are so kind to me. One of the best masseuse in town! Hands down the best!

I went in two weeks ago for a 1.5 hour massage and it was incredible again. My normal masseuse, Cindy, was on vacation, however the therapist I was assigned, was equally amazing with a stronger touch. I think her name was Joyce, but cannot remember. Since moving here from Los Angeles, this is my go to place for a massage. read more

Went for a 2 hour massage. Started of ok. She literally worked on my back and neck for 1 hour and 45 minutes before finally going to my legs. 20 minutes into the massage she sneezed all over my back not once not twice but 3 times. Don't know what she was doing once she started on my back of my legs. But she literally farted. I heard sorry sorry sorry at least 4 times. So much for a nice relaxing time to unwind and trying to de stress from my work week. Unfortunately you have to pay before they start otherwise I was walking out. To the owners of this place. I would like a full refund. I was there from 6:10pm to 8:10 pm. On the date of today's visit. I'm pretty disappointed and disgusted all at the same time. I will also be going to the other sites to put the same reviews until I receive a full refund and there will be no exceptions. I don't get her name as I couldn't understand her. read more

Flew into Nashville on the red eye and had a few hours to kill before I could check into my hotel - so I stopped by Sunny Massage loosen up my body after the long flight. I try to never write a bad review for a small business, but maybe I could have avoided this experience with more reviews. I was feeling sore from a few weeks of back to back travel. I thought I would get a relaxing massage to help with soreness. The woman doing the massage simply could not understand my multiple requests for lighter or softer (I tried a few variations a few times). She would say ok and then was back to digging in. i should have ended it early. i actually asked the counter person at the end if they had anyone else available for an hour and maybe she could explain it better, but they did not. When I explained the problem to the counter person, her only answer was that I should have said something to the woman. I did, several times. I left feeling worse than when I got there. read more

Sunny massage is my go to massage place near my house. I'm obsessed with massages. I mean really, who isn't? And why wouldn't you be? I've been getting professional massages since I was 15. My whole family is obsessed. I think it's cuz Asian families really value the benefits of massage on our bodies. So first let me explain this about me. I love a good deep pressure massage. I'm a 4'11" Asian woman. I don't shy away from it but some masseuses think I'm joking when they see me and I tell them that. I don't know if they think I'm going crumble but some masseuses only get to medium pressure. Sunny massage masseuses? Deep pressure on my back. Every. Single. Time. That's why I keep coming back. The consistency on their pressure has been really helpful in this WFH world we live in. There's one or two times that they could've gone a lot harder on my forearm and hands (hellooooooo carpal tunnel) but really that's my fault for not telling them on the spot. Most of the time they're available on the same day to book but sometimes they don't answer the phone or my voicemails. Completely understandable though because they're probably booked up. I don't hold it against them. I don't know what style they're doing. I keep trying to figure it out but I don't think it's a set type. Still feels great through. They even have those rails that they can hold on to in the ceiling so they can walk on you for extra pressure. Overall: I wish they had more deals for people who buy more in a pack like what they did for Christmas with the Buy 3 get 1 free but hey I'll just wait for when they do. The masseuses are friendly and great on pressure. Super clean. They require a mask for COVID which I totally understand because you gotta do what you gotta do to be safe and stay open as a business. read more

I've been here three times over the last few years. The people here do not understand anatomy or follow the muscle tissue like a trained massage therapist. It's more of a rubdown, with deep pressure pushing on muscles and walking on you. It is frustrating how they rub against the opposite of how the muscle tissues flow. I've had massage for thirty years including deep tissue, Swedish, Thai, and Ashiatsu. The massages I've received here feel like the people are winging it. Also, they don't speak English. The last massage I had, I asked several times if she would work on my tight calves. I then had to point at my calf three different times before she got it. read more

I have been coming to Sunny Massage since I moved to Nashville at the end of 2021 and I am ALWAYS happy with their service. I usually do a walk-in on the fly and every massage therapist has been incredible. Such nice people too! Great service. 10/10 wpuld recommend. read more

True "bible belt" professionalism Price for 15min table shower+1hr massage: $75 A very honorable business indeed: although written in small lettering, this business follows the governmental massage parlor rules that Tenn set forth. With that: my massage was really great and she hit the spots that i mentioned. Bed/table: large maroon bed sheet for covering Masseuse looks away while turning over. Table shower: cloth goes over cheeks and cheeries. Its like i said....professional down to a P. read more

I was absolutely blown away by this place - a hidden gem! Sherry was awesome! First, I called this morning and got a same day appointment for a 60 min hot oil table massage. Second, I asked for firm pressure and had the firmest massage I've ever experienced - Sherry worked out all my knots. A couple things to be aware of for a first timer - you pay up front, including tip (if on card) or you can pay cash tip after. They offer a $3 discount if you pay all in cash. Also, they walk on your back! I was not expecting this since I'm used to chain massage places like massage envy, but it really allowed her to get deep into my muscle tissue. I am excited to go back - I want to try the reflexology foot massage next time! read more

I was in town with a couple of friends for a concert and we decided we wanted to get massages. Most everything was fully booked, but we called Sunny Massage and they were able to get us in for a 30 minute foot massage and 90 minute full body massage for a party of 3 within 2 hours time! We arrived and paid for the massage and were immediately taken back for our foot massage. The lady who did my foot massage was amazing. That part alone made me feel so relaxed. Then we went into our rooms for our fully body massage and she worked on my back forever. It was intense for sure, but I tried to tough it out because I figured I needed that much pressure. I certainly did because the picture I included is from Monday (9/5/22) compared to Saturday (9/10/22). That part of my neck has been so swollen and painful for months. Everything feels so loose and relaxed now, despite being tender from the massage. I would absolutely recommend you try them if you're in the area and looking for an incredible massage for a steal of a price! I think we each paid $125 for the entire experience (before the substantial tip that my masseuse earned!) read more

they're incredible. I absolutely love all of the therapists there. they all are really good at what they do.

I travel a lot all over the world and commonly get massages because of the physicality of my profession. But, I am home for a while now and needed to find a good massage therapist close to me. A lot of the massage therapy establishments in Nashville lean toward being pretentious and self important. And pricey. I saw Sunny and read a few reviews then decided to try it. Honestly - Cindy gave me one of the very best massages I've ever had. So good! Total professionalism and kindness. I found my new go-to massage spa!! read more

Absolute great experience!!!! I will be back soon. Loved everything about this place !!! Cindy was amazing!!!!

I have been here twice. The first time was ok, but this time was better. The reason why I returned is because of the reviews on Yelp (which made me second guess my initials experience). The massage therapists are ok, but I think they could be trained to massage slower and deeper. There's a lot of fast rubbing motions for a deep massage, and I think they can do a better job at pushing down on the pressure points. I also HATE laying down on a paper towel that covers the headrest area. I won't be returning anytime soon, but I wish them the best. read more
