I have been working with Cindy for about 3 1/2 months for Acupuncture. To date I have had 17…read moreappointments with her. I have had acid reflux for the past 16 years, I have had on and off constipation, constantly cold feet, small scrap/cuts and bruising to the skin that would take months to heal, cycling depression, mood swings, hot flashes and anxiety with my menstrual cycle. I have also been experiencing ligament laxity issues to where, if I just move the right way, I can feel my joints shift causing me to need consistent body work for alignment so I do not injury anything. Since seeing Cindy all of this improved and some of these things have completely resolved, including the ligament laxity. How you ask? Because if your spleen is not activating, it can cause ligament laxity and prolapse of organs. I am fortunate to have learned this from Cindy. Since she been activating my spleen, my joints have been much better. My first 5 appointments were done within 2 1/2 weeks as recommended by Cindy. She also provided me with several herbs to assist in the process during this 3 1/2 months. Here is the question everyone asks: Is this expensive? It depends on how you want to look at it. The amount of money I have spent with Cindy, I have spent 10x as much going to doctors to tell me nothing wrong and my blood work, "Looks Great". To spend the money with Cindy to have all of these things improve in 3 1/2 months of consistently seeing her, will save you a life time of spending money with other people that can't help you. If you are going to work with Cindy, Trust her, and trust the process, you will be grateful that you did. Rae L

I'm fairly new to acupuncture, but I was referred to Dr. Sheng at The Lotus Center by several…read morepeople. She is amazing! She is very nice, very gentle, and puts you at ease. She will also take it slow and build up as you are comfortable. I was so nervous the first time & she was very accommodating. It's amazing how much better I feel when I leave! Now, I'll be honest - it isn't cheap. It's $175 for the first visit & $95 thereafter, but it's well worth every penny. I'd highly recommend Dr. Sheng to anyone!!

The staff: very attentive, warm, friendly and caring. Rating Dr. Zoe Yue, OMD, L. Ac.: ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING. I highly recommend getting an evaluation with Dr. Yue to see if Traditional Chinese Medicine should be part of your overall health care. If Dr. Yue feels that Traditional Chinese Medicine will not help your health concern(s), she will be honest and let you know. (I know this from sending family members and friends to her.) I recently completed my 27th treatment from Dr. Yue. My journey: Western medical treatments and medicine were not enough to resolve my current medical condition, but I was very concerned about trying acupuncture. I visited a number of acupuncture centers in the Nashville area and finally selected Dr. Yue. Why? She has decades of experience, was educated, trained and practiced in China, has an OMD from China, is licensed in the USA to practice acupuncture, has practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 30 years, was going to provide my treatments every time (vs the normal "who was available" centers), and was in the practice to optimize her patients' health. The initial consultation was very impressive. She listened to every word I said, asked critical questions, and was really thinking about what was best for my health. I told her of my "fear" of needles, and that I was reluctant to even try acupuncture, but her tone, words, knowledge, and gestures/body language comforted me, so I gave it a try, and didn't feel like a "pin cushion." My first treatment was very assuring and she gauged the number of needles by my comfort, words and body language. I was expecting each needle to feel like a bee sting, but it did not. Dr. Yue inserted the needles without pain. It was like my entire body knew it was in good hands and didn't need not worry. For the next few sessions, Dr. Yue would increase the number of needles, adjust the depth of the needles, and chart my progress. After 7 treatments, my medical condition and overall health improved immensely, and, surprisingly, I started to fall asleep shortly after she "needled me up." Additionally, it was reassuring that at the beginning of every treatment that Dr. Yue would take the time to evaluate my progress, and, if needed, make adjustments to my acupuncture care plan in order to maximize my health. Believe me, you owe it to yourself to see Dr. Yue and have her as part of your overall health care team. [This is a non-compensated endorsement from one of Dr. Yue's patients at the Lotus Center in Nashville Tennessee USA.]

I have been back to Nashvegas a few years this month and have not found my go to acupuncturist. As it is a strong mutual relationship, this is a decision that requires some effort to find and grow for it to work. Making an appointment was a breeze. I left a message and Emily called later that afternoon. She had an appointment cancel and boom I was in next day. She emailed me forms and next day we started the work. My issue were my ankles. With needles and an energy unit, I will update when I get correct name, we began. She had a few needles in my hands and ears and legs and stomach. No texting or surfing the Web during this zen time and it was a welcome part of the day to just be in the moment. When we were complete, my ankle did not heal automatically nor did I expect it to, yet later that evening they looked better than they had in months and felt more flexible. I had already booked a followup session for the next week and am very excited to see what else we can heal. Emily was very good at explaining and discussing the treatment and my concerns as a good acupuncturist should. I have had both, some that do great work, without explanation and some which explain but the energy does not flow. I believe she possesses both of these qualities. Emily is in the office of Back in touch. She shares a space with other healing practioners. The other practioners are massage therapists, Reiki therapists, an oils practioner and an Intuitive/akashik record reader. The space is quite calming on the second floor in the middle of Nashville, in the shopping center of Ted's, Apex nails, and Honey Baked. Highly recommend Emily for acupuncture. Be careful, once you find out how great it is, you will appreciate the Chinese way of healing and possibly be hooked.

She has had an impressive education in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is very experienced. Her manner is calming and assuring. She listens to your needs and concerns and answers your questions thoroughly. In three weeks, she has given me more relief from chronic back pain and problems related to cancer therapy than years of medications, physical therapy, and other Western treatments. For the first time, I actually have hope that I can manage my back pain and live the active life that I want to.
