My foot massages was great but for back he didn't really get my muscles. His elbows were massaging my back bones instead deep into my tissue muscles. The place was clean. Making an appointment was easy. The lady doing the massage was not nice and messed up the whole experience. She was answering the phone and taking appointments during my massage. She was unnecessarily rough through sensitive areas such as my face. She verbally complained about how hard it was to massage me because my muscles were so tight. If the verbal complaints weren't enough, she made sure she sighed or breathed out heavily in frustration every 5 minutes or so. When I left a $20 tip, she said it wasn't enough and embarrassed me in front of waiting clients. Complaining the whole time, on the phone and acting as though I'm an inconvenience but yet you want a bigger tip? I will never return. read more

I've been coming to this place for years. I love how I can usually call an hour before (regardless of weekday or weekend) and still get an appointment. Okay, for those who have never been to a legit Chinese reflexology location...the type of pressure they provide is not for the weak! The norm is a very deep pressure. Not saying they can't service you if you like more a gentle to medium massage, but make sure you communicate it to them. Also, the majority do not speak English well, but if you use basic instructions like "not too hard or softer" then they'll get the gist. When you walk in, there's a small little waiting area, but the room where you get your massage is dark. The entire space is an open room where each section is separated by a long curtain. I know you might not think that it could feel private, but they do such a great job of relaxing you and keeping the ambience calm that you wont be concerned for any other people. The room is dark and they place a scented eye mask over you and you're in your own world way before you realize. I normally get a C3 which is a full body massage. You keep your clothes on and they ask you to lay down on a very comfortable massage table and you soak your feet in a warm basin. While your feet soak and sanitize, they start off with a scalp massage, then neck and shoulders, and then arms before they work on your legs and feet. They'll work out kinks at the bottom of your feet and toes that you didn't even realize you had! Afterward, they ask you to flip and they work on your back. I've had a different masseuse each time and not much changes in the sequence of the massage. Since reflexology is something that's been practiced for centuries now in the Chinese culture, everything they do is very methodical. When they massage you on one part of your body, you can feel the release come out through other parts. It's insane and I mean that in the best way possible. Did I mention that a full body for 60 minutes is only $45. You can't beat what you get for the value...anywhere! They will ask you to pay cash and if you do, you'll get a credit on your next visit. I typically never carry cash so I thats they only thing I don't like is when she asks me if I have cash on me. And when I say no she'll ask me again, "You don't have cash on you today?" Got a Groupon for this place for an hour foot soak and upper body massage. I called to make an appointment, played a little phone tag but my call was returned within an hour. Place is very clean and serene. Massage was excellent and don't know if this is normal, but was more like 90 than 60 min. I may have just been fortunate - regardless, quality was fantastic. I've been coming here for over a year and always have the same friendly customer service from everyone. The lady in the front is so sweet. The C3 is what I usually get which covers the entire body from scalp to toes. They'll soak your feet in a basin(with plastic around it for sanitation).. so while you soak, they'll work on your forehead and scalp area using pressure points. (WHO doesn't love a scalp massage?!) After that, they'll take your feet out to dry and they'll massage each foot using pressure points as well. They'll work a little on both arms. Your tech should ask you while he's working on you if the pressure is OK or do you want a little more pressure. They'll have you flip facing down, and this is my fave since they work the stress off out your shoulders and underneath your shoulder blades. OMG! So good. Out of the year I've been going here, I've only received ONE bad massage (it was only bad bc it felt like it was done in a lazy way) Other then that, I love the peaceful environment and make sure to tip your tech well bc the prices on the massages are very AFFORDABLE! First the good: Quiet, apparently clean, but very dark The not so good: They do not speak good English. My masseuse apparently spoke virtually no English, as every time I tried to communicate someone else came over to do the talking. Maybe I am not familiar with this type massage, but it was frankly one of the worst massages I have ever had. He mostly worked on either side of spine, finding all the uncomfortable spots while NEVER finding the knotted muscles, so I experienced NO relief from the issues in my shoulder and upper back that I came in to address. Some, of not most of the practitioners I have dealt with elsewhere at least had a better understanding and sensitivity to where stress accumulates in muscles and could readily recognize those areas without instruction. Not so at all here. In fact I was more often uncomfortable with face smashed into the table and annoyed by his "rocking" technique that did nothing. I was traveling and will be back in the area, but not back here for another massage. read more

Oh my---this is a fantastic place. I had 2 different people working on me---perhaps because I was a walk-in. The girl on my feet was great---I like the way she even got my legs up to my thighs. The man on my back-----I just melted. He knew exactly where my trouble spots were and worked diligently to ease my pain. This was the most AWESOME experience! My daughter and I both went, and will definitely be going back (would love to go once a month!) It didn't bother me much with only getting a foot massage, but, would be weird to get any other kind of massage in that setting. Location: Side access road in front of Walmart, near Panera Bread, next to Titlemax (meh) Parking: A little tight when everyone is waiting for the check cashing place to open... What to wear: Pants that can easily roll up to your knees, leave the rings and earrings at home. This is the one time that you can wear yoga pants and it actually serves a purpose... Setup: The photos here don't do it justice. The place is dark, which I am grateful for. There is nothing worse than going somewhere that you are supposed to relax at and they turn on the lights (I am talking to you, yoga instructors). They all pretty much whisper to one another and there is minimal talking. I mean borderline none. There is theme music on and a waterfall running, but I also heard the dryer - which, let's face it, isn't all that bad. The place is very clean with dark brown walls and minimal decoration, but who cares because the lights aren't on anyway. They have the windows covered in black out curtains too. The carpeting is super padded. The restroom is unisex and clean, nothing fancy. There was a little tape on the toilet handle. Otherwise, they hide everything behind matching curtains. Overall it is tastefully done. There are six huge mauve chairs that at first look like they belong in a nail salon, until you sit in them and start pondering how much you would be willing to pay for one. And wait a minute...it is an actual massage table! We'll get to that later. Massage: So I was the first on there. They asked me how the temperature was and I indicated it was a little warm and I am guessing that they adjusted the thermostat. Out came a mini barrel lined with a plastic bag and filled with warm water to soak my feet. This is not your nail salon stick-your-feet-in-this-weird-little-jet tub-and hope-it-is-clean situation. It was a little odd getting used to the set up, since I had never been there before. Take your shoes off and sit in the seat and then they slowly recline it and adjust your pillows and cover your torso with a towel for comfort - much appreciated, I would have felt a little self conscious otherwise. I was offered water or tea. And then they begin the deal! Ya know when you see people doing pushups on their fingertips? I bet Jeff does them on only his index fingers. He would have blown through El Capitan at Yosemite. This guy is the real deal. I am not kidding. You are not going to sleep through this massage. If you do you need to be checked for narcolepsy. They start at your head and work to your feet. If your soft spot never sealed up, he might end up wearing your skull on his thumb a'la Little Jack Horner. I don't think there was a spot her missed moving down my entire body (not the stomach). My head, neck and everything was squeezed, rubbed, and smacked for good measure. Not going to lie, my shins are sensitive and I almost tapped out but I knew the process was worth the end result. Then he hits your toes which could easily put you into fits because it tickles (and I don't have ticklish feet). while he works on one leg, he places the other under a towel to keep it warm and hydrated. They use an unscented lotion on your feet and legs. I thought we were done when he finished my feet and started smacking my legs to release the energy. My brain was debating if bamboo whippings were next. Then he moved to my head and said "face down." It took a second but then I realized he wanted me to roll over and wah lah - there is a face hole under the head rest and he dropped the upper part of the chair even more! And it all started again: down my neck and spine, through the legs, and back to the head. I felt the elbows in the back and even got the chopping/slicing motion we all associate with massages when we are seven years old and want to help our dad out after a long day of work. While I lay there my tip just kept going up in my head. This is a lot of work. The session was ended when I rolled over and he wiped down my legs with warm wet towels and he tried to pull down my pant legs that were boyfriend jeans that were almost cutting off my circulation (because I have beefy calves). The only thing that threw me off was the odd dog barking on a sound track at the end of a song - it was just funny. I wish I knew about this place sooner. I don't think I will ever get a normal massage again. When I was done there were three men who had shown up for their massages.
