I had no idea what to expect here. I mean what the frick is a salt cave?? As it turns out it's a giant room filled with salt with cool zero gravity chairs where you can get reflexology done to your feet. It's cool and relaxing (blankets provided). I half fell asleep while my girls got the reflexology done. It was interesting and I'd recommend trying it as it's supposed to be good when you're sick! read more

AMAZING experience. We arrived very early and we had to wait for one more couple that had reserved the time same slot as us. However, the owner let us enter the salt room earlier and get settled, even though it wasn't 1pm yet and the other couple still hadn't arrived. That was very nice of her. The chairs lean back, blankets are provided as well as noise cancelling headphones, which were drowning the salt generator white noise but still allowing us to listen to the spa music. The lights go off and the generator releases Himalayan salt particles into the air. I wasn't sure if I could tell the difference but I happened to lick my lips halfway through the session and I could taste the salt! It was so relaxing, I even fell asleep for a bit. I'm sure the salt room is a great experience. Unfortunately, I'll never know. My group made an appointment for 10am. While some of us were parking, my coworker went to check us in. We were told that the session had already started. He was a little surprised and asked why since we were told to be there at 10. The person assisting him then huffed and pointed at the clock and said "It's 10:01." I understand having a strict time policy, but the pretentious attitude was unnecessary. My daughter is sick and I wanted to come and get a salt lamp. The hours on the website say Thursday open til 7pm. I drove all the way from franklin, TN to get a lamp (over 30 min drive) only to arrive at 6:20 pm and find them closed. Also, the hours on the door said open til 7pm. Not happy. She really took her time to explain to me how reflexology works and what she found after our session. I am not one to usually write reviews and this was my first experience with reflexology or salt therapy, but I can't say enough good things!! I didn't catch the name of the woman working, but she was great at explaining all the benefits and what the session would be like. The salt room is beautiful and immediately relaxed and charged my energy. The session was very relaxing and stimulating, afterwards she explained what she could read off my feet and it was all on point! I feel incredibly balanced and energized, my energy level hasn't felt this good in a long time. One word.....WOW! Prettiest "salt cave" I have been to so far! My mission was to visit all the Salt spas in the Nashville area to compare. This place is far superior to all of them! Customer service, products, pricing are all spot on. They offer several classes here as well as the salt cave. I did a yoga class recently and it was amazing. I love Salt and Soles! I started coming here because I recently developed allergies and was told by my doctor that I'd need to take drugs regularly to control the symptoms. Looking for a natural alternative, I purchased a month pass to see if salt therapy would be helpful. In researching salt caves, I found a lot of testimonials of how effective this kind of therapy can be and it has helped me already as well! In just over a week, I have noticed a significant change in my symptoms and general breathing. The salt cave is so relaxing and meditative. You recline in the comfy chairs for 45 minutes while micro salt particles diffuse into the air, which you inhale/absorb into your system, which is supposed to help with detoxifying your body. Connie and John are wonderful - so warm and welcoming. Their store is full of lovely homemade bath & salt products and other locally-made items. I've also given a salt cave session as a gift and it is a nice way to introduce a friend to a healing therapy, even if it's not for a specific medical ailment.
