I was on my way, so excited for this spa, finally celebrating my Mother's Day, when I got a text asking if I was on my way for a tour. I called immediately because I had no idea what this message was referring to. I was told that I was supposed to be there at 1PM for a video and tour. What? I live 45 minutes away, I was on my way, there was no possibility of me arriving any sooner. I felt the need to defend myself and explain, I had no idea about a video, or tour. I didn't appreciate how none of this information was given to be prior to my appointment at 1:30. My appointment was at 1:30. All of this caused stress for me, ruining the stress free experience. I arrived and found the spa rather underwhelming. Also, when are you supposed to know when you're finished? You're in a pod with ear plugs in, unaware of what's going on around you, unable to check the time unless you exit. This causes even more stress, almost as if you're late for the appointment (even though you're early) and over staying you're welcome (even though you didn't float for 60 minutes) I highly recommended appointment times are explained prior to your appointment. I also recommend that newbie appointments are booked for the float AND the tour/video for example, a 60 minute newbie appointment booked for 90 minutes. I was told my appointment was for 1:30, they should've said 1. Also, why aren't clocks or a signal provided for floating time being over? If you have ear plugs in, cannot hear, are in the dark, how are you to know the time?

A friend recommended trying Pure Sweat to get out of the house and clear up my sinuses. Well, it did just that! When I booked the first time they had a 3 pack for around $90 for new customers so I purchased that to try the sauna when I was feeling better as well. My first time at the sauna was wonderful. It's tranquil, the employees are knowledgeable and so sweet, and they even have electrolytes and gels for anything you might lose during your sweat. The sauna session itself is 60 minutes and you get your own room with towels, mused, Netflix, and a cold eucalyptus towel for after your session. But Float Nashville really helps you feel comfortable by explaining with kindness and patience. I've been a few times now and take new people back with me. Customer service was great and super friendly and considerate. He was sweet, hospitable, and super accommodating. There are no qualms about customer service and atmosphere of my visit. If anything, he is what carrying this 2 star instead of 1 star experience. The float tank itself seemed a bit disgusting. Not by any means because of the type of water it was, but inside the tank on the walls and crevices were disgusting. I have posted photos to verify this. If I am knowingly aware floating in treated water that other naked bodies are in rotation in and plus the built up grime on the interior walls, that didn't really give me a firm chance to be at ease during this experience. I feel that it is important to maintain a level of hygiene when experiencing this and though I felt hygiene was done right with the first part of the visit, being in the tank itself left me with a sickening feeling of disgust. Like I said, I am not unfamiliar to using spa treatments and things similar to this experience. It is simply a matter of cleanliness. What I can say about this experience once you get over the disgust is that I did feel relaxed and enjoyed the chance to remove my mind from all exteriors and simply relax. It was a great environment for the right purpose, but I did feel unsettled due to the constant feeling of being in a place that hadn't been cleaned properly from my point of view. I am purely going on first impression. As someone who has never done this before, no one wants to get into a tank and see reminiscence of God knows what on the walls and around the filters or jets. Would I give this another try? Yes, but only after I felt that the place had been properly sanitized in the tanks. I am happy to reconsider my experience and rating of Float Nashville if I better understood why it looked like this and felt like I was floating around in something unsanitary - chemicals or not.

The facility is clean, easy to find and street parking was plentiful when I went on a Friday mid morning. The whole place was so calm and clean it made you feel relaxed the moment you walked in. The massage room was super spacious and clean, I loved all the salt lamps and relaxing music In the background setting the ambiance making it felt so relaxing. The massage was great- very relaxing. However if you prefer more pressure I would recommend deep tissue massage. Bethany did a wonderful job. The float session - you get a nice private room, the water is deep enough to cover your body but I would not recommend going if you are claustrophobic. The space was small and hard to breathe since the water was warm- however after I opened the glass door I felt better since the air conditioning is coming in I could breathe much better- however their motion sensored light kept on going on but it went off after a few minutes. The floating it self was a magical experience- the salt water was super concentrated and your chest and private area is above the water so after a few minutes they dry up you can feel the salt on your chest. I felt asleep at the end and next thing you know it's time to shower and go- overall- if you are looking to relax in Nashville this is a great place- I would certainly come back soon!

I had an unlimited membership here last year and I can say it was operating way more efficiently than it is now. I'm not sure how or why the ball was constantly dropped when I requested to cancel my membership but I genuinely hope that they get their business in order. Writing this review was my last resort after reaching out several times. My intention is not to discourage anyone from this business but to share my experience and to recommend checking out other similar businesses before joining here. They offer great services but poor follow through with customer service and availability. Here's my timeline - 4/11, purchased a $150/unlimited membership. I noticed they were closed a few days out of the week but I was like, cool, I felt that I would still get some value by visiting the days they were open. 4/14, had a session booked, it was cancelled due to them having to close earlier than what I made my appointment for. I said that's fine, no worries! I understand things happen. 4/18, received a text they were closed, so again another session cancelled. I responded to the text that I would like to cancel my membership - no response. The following week I requested to cancel at the front desk, I was told Matt (who I am assuming is the owner) wasn't there and usually isn't there but that he would be notified. 4/25, another text stating that they had to close and my session would be cancelled. This is the third time in less than a month that my *scheduled appointments* were cancelled. I responded to the last text that I needed to cancel my membership and I was told *again* that it would be taken care of. I even asked if there was any paperwork that needed to be filled out to cancel and I was told no. I called a few times, no answer. I go in person, the only one that has authority to cancel/issue refunds is never there. 5/11, I am charged AGAIN for a $150/unlimited membership. I was told I would receive a refund and here I am a week later and no refund. I feel that I've done my part and I expect Zivel to do the same. I wouldn't be surprised if I never see my $150. I am done trying to reach out to get this resolved. UPDATE 6/11/24 - BEING CHARGED $150 AGAIN. MY BANK IS CURRENTLY DISPUTING THE CHARGE FOR MAY AND WILL BE DISPUTING THE ONE FOR JUNE AS WELL. I COULD CANCEL MY CC AND GET A NEW ONE BUT WHY SHOULD I GO THROUGH THE INCONVENIENCE?? TO KEEP CHARGING SOMEONE A MEMBERSHIP WHEN BEING TOLD THEY WERE "TAKING CARE OF IT" IS RIDICULOUS.
