I was taken back to the Salt therapy room and ushered to a zero gravity chair towards the front of the room.

Found this deal on Groupon and thought I'd check the place out. I have pretty severe asthma and I…read moreread Himalayan Salt is supposed to be really good. You walk in to a very cute store with all kinds of salt lamps and candles for sale. The girl was really friendly. Make sure not to bring a large purse because the lockers are a bit small and my medium sized handbag barely fit. They ask you take your shoes off and hand you booties to wear over your socks to keep the salt cave purified. I was all by myself in the cave but there is room for about 20 people. You sit in these antigravity chairs which recline back and kind of do make you feel as if you're floating. Each chair has its own set of headphones but I found the volume a bit loud and I struggled with turning it down. Next time I'll ask for assistance. Then the lights go out and for 45 minutes you're immersed in this tranquil serene environment that is extremely relaxing. I almost fell asleep. I left feeling refreshed and energized and my asthma has been amazingly under control even with the cold days we've had recently. THIS IS A MUST DO AGAIN!! Be prepared to come out completely salty. There's also an option for an infrared sauna and foot spa. I'm telling you, this is something to invest in for your health and wellness- Yoi will not be disappointed!!

SECOND THERAPY AT REST- Trigger point massage! WOW WOW WOW…read more I told my husband right after my visit that he NEEDS this, especially with running more lately and his lower back pain. She said this therapy calms the nervous system and I really felt that. I am so surprised more people aren't aware of the amazing therapies here!!! I'm slowly trying each one, and updating my review as I do. Make sure to see my previous review about the Salt Cave! I originally went in randomly today after seeing my chiropractor the second time this week and the chiropractor said trigger point massage would be a great idea because I think I pulled a muscle in my shoulder and it has been painful the past several days. This is my first time ever getting a trigger point massage and stretching etc. and it was well worth the $25. I might be back this week even!! She worked on full back (it felt like she was pressing in those spots until the muscle released) and some use of the therapy gun which was both ticklish and painful in a good way. Then I turned over and laid on my back while we did some deep stretches. So good! We finished working on my arm/shoulder that was causing me pain. She said it should clear up (and I should wait to work out again/using it until Thursday but if I was still feeling equal pain on Friday it's likely a muscle sprain? that I'd have to wait out to heal). It's been over 6 hours and throughout my day after this therapy, it's felt so much better. Highly recommend!!!! Thank you REST!!

I went in to use the Salt Cave for healing properties for my sinus infection. The staff were very…read morecourteous and friendly. However, what is offered is not a salt cave. A salt cave either has salt on the floor or uses halotherapy to mist salt in to the air. They do neither. They simply have salt bricks on the wall. By definition that is not a salt cave and offers no therapeutic properties. I did not realize there was no mister until after the fact. I am disappointed in the time and money I spent as I was expecting to feel better and that would only happen with an actual salt cave. If you want an actual salt cave experience go somewhere that offers salt on the floor, misting and books 60 minute sessions. That is a salt cave.
