Purchased a vehicle 8 months ago and had nothing but bad service. Lied to by the sales manager saying the "part is on order." He never ordered it even though he told me he did 4 times over 6 months that it was on order. He never followed through on any of the concessions he offered in the sale. Lied to by the GM when he said "I'll call you back today and we'll make it right." Never heard back. Lied to by the Sales Rep who said it's a 1 day repair MULTIPLE TIMES. They even said that afternoon that it would be ready in a couple hours. Went to pick it up and they said "oh it won't be ready until tomorrow." "No, we don't have any courtesy cars." "We would have to call the warranty company about a rental car" (but they never offered to actually call). "We can't bring you home because it's too far" I live 16 minutes away. Last week received a recall notice on a fuel pump which read, "actual service time of approximately 30 minutes." Made an appointment with Best Chev. for the following week. They asked for and I provided the GM Recall number. Swapped vehicles with wife, adjusted work schedule, pushed appointments back, made trip to Best Chev & the service department is nice & polite, and informed me the part needs to be ordered and expected to arrive in the shop within a few days and they will call me when to come back. I was in New Orleans in May, 2025. I had a minor accident and had to have my passenger side mirror replaced. Josh, from the service department, made sure I got my mirror replaced the next day prior to me returning home to Texas. Unfortunately, while fixing my mirror, something happened to my passenger door handle so that it was loose. I didn't realize this until I got to Scott, LA and immediately called Josh to let him know the problem. I told him I was going to bring my vehicle back to Best Chevrolet the next time I was in New Orleans so that it could be fixed and he said OK. I was in New Orleans a couple of weeks ago and let Brandt and Michael Moisant (owners) know that I was going to be back in town and would be bringing my vehicle to their service department to fix my door handle. When I got there, Michael came out to greet me and looked at my passenger side door because by now, the entire door handle had fallen off. He told me he was going to order the part and that it should be at the dealership by the next day. Once the part arrived, Michael called me and I took my vehicle in so they could install the door handle back onto the passenger side door. I want to thank Michael Moisant and Josh for going above and beyond to fix not only my side mirror, but for replacing my door handle too. It would have been very easy for them to completely ignore me since I'm not from New Orleans but they didn't. They expedited fixing my vehicle on both occasions since they knew I didn't have much time to get this done while in New Orleans. I manage scheduling and client relationships for our family-owned transportation company, JEMZ, and our experience with Best Chevrolet has been frustrating to say the least. We purchased a 2022 Suburban in February 2025 -- and within the first week, it needed repairs. After months of back and forth, it was finally replaced with a 2022 Tahoe in late May. But the Tahoe also started having problems within the first week. Since then, it's been in four times, and we've only been provided a loaner once. This one unreliable SUV has impacted our entire operation. We've had to turn down a long-term rental client and pull one of our vans from availability to cover for it -- hurting revenue and client trust. The worst part? Communication has been nearly nonexistent. Multiple emails, texts, and voicemails to leadership have gone unanswered, even after cc'ing Chevrolet corporate and the Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission. We invested over $60K in a vehicle to support our business. Instead, we've been met with silence and a cycle of repairs. I read another review that said they should be called "worst" Chevrolet and I cannot agree more. Please read this review before doing business with this company. My wife and I were looking for a new Suburban with the diesel engine. The only black sub with diesel in Louisiana was at this dealership. We setup an appointment to test drive and the wife fell in love. This was after work on a Friday 6pm and they close at 8pm. Started haggling process with salesman and General Manager and took way too long. After finally agreeing on price and requests it was 9:30 pm and they closed at 8 pm. Part of the agreement in writing, the dealership would (on a BRAND-NEW vehicle) repair a tear in the head liner, fix 3 small dents in the rear driver side and install the ceramic coating on the doors edge and inside the handles (which should have come standard and we were charged for), but this was 9:30pm. We all agreed that we would take the new sub home and later the dealer would come pick it up and do what they agreed to do. They did pick the sub up and attempted to make a repair on the head liner, but was a different color and was not the same material. We emphasized during the negotiation that we really wanted out BRAND-NEW vehicle to not have a tear in the head liner. They said they would order the part required and would fix at a later date. The ceramic did not get installed but the dents did get fixed. From that point on, we have not been able to get ANYONE on the phone. The sales guy is no longer employer there, and all of the secretaries there know who we are and NEVER put us through to anyone who can do anything. The GM is always "away" when we call. I asked a secretary when the GM is normally available and her response was "he does not have a set schedule... all I can do is leave a message". My wife and I have left multiple messages and have called many times and get the exact same runaround. We have never been rude or raised our voices to anyone, but got the WORST Chevrolet treatment all the same. I have never been so disappointed with the unprofessional way we have been treated. The blatant ignoring and lack of integrity is crazy to me. I cannot believe they can run a business like this and do well. Got a call saying my car had a lot of miles on it and they never told me what the issues were that I came to get adressed. Money is not an issue when you're coming to get your car fixed with no warranty so with that being said if money was the issue I would have never brung it in. Starting from the beginning: purchased a used car in 2/23. I was told everything had been inspected. New tires. New battery. The night I drove it off the lot the windshield wipers were not put on correctly. Drove it back the next day. Check engine light came on. It was reset when the fixed the wipers. Came on again within 48 hours. I was told I needed a new chip and it was ordered. 10 days later the car had a catastrophic failure and shut itself down in the middle of traffic. Had it towed to Best. I was told they would reimburse me for the $70 tow. That has never happened. I had to fight for a loaner for three days. My car sat there for a couple days. After looking at it, the decision was made to take it to a jeep dealer (2017 jeep). Fine, I was told it would be at the jeep dealer for a couple days. A week later I called the jeep dealer and they said they probably couldn't even look at it for another week. In the meantime, I get an overdue notice for a car payment. I was never told who my finance company was, let alone when a payment was due. To this day I have never received any paperwork from the dealership. Finally got the car back. I was assured a new battery had been put in, a daytime running light had been replaced, a new chip had been installed and I was "good to go". Three days later as I was leaving to drive to NY at 6am, car wouldn't start because battery was dead. $250 later I had a brand new battery even though I had been told a new battery had been installed 5 days earlier. Drove up to NY and realized that two tire bolts were missing. Had to replace. And the day time running light that was supposedly replaced also went out.Waited 6 months to get plates because they put my co-signer as the primary and she lives in Texas. No one caught this until the finance company contacted the dealership. It only took a few days to fix, so why did it take 6 months to get my plate? Forget about getting return phone calls from anyone you are trying to reach. No one picks up the phone, and if they do, you get transferred to voicemail that no one appears to respond to. I left multiple messages for finance, managers and even the GM. Not one phone call was ever returned. Really shows how much they care about their customers. read more

I visited Best Chevrolet yesterday in search of a new SUV. I was paired with Carol, a friendly, upbeat, knowledgeable salesperson. She helped me narrow down the vehicle that best suited my needs and we went for a test drive. She welcomed my questions and gave me all of the info I needed. I ultimately decided that the Chevy wasn't the car for our family - I wasn't crazy about the interior trim packages - but Carol certainly did her best to make me happy. She followed up after my visit to make sure we hadn't missed anything. Great experience even if I didn't buy from the **Review Update** My mother in law locked up two of my seatbelts by wrapping them around a piece of furniture I was picking up from her and delivering to my brother in law. No good deed. The wonderful folks in the service department worked their tails off to get the belts free and working again. They then noticed my leaky taillight and I mentioned that one of my speakers went out recently. They took my car back to begin the repairs immediately. I'm under warranty so no cost to me - I'm on cloud 9. I can't say enough good things about the staff here. read more

While I did not buy my current vehicle from this particular dealer, I was impressed that when I came in to test drive, there was no pressure at all! None whatsoever. I don't even mind that the salesperson seemed completely uninterested and bored, I would rather have that than pressure. I came to test drive vehicles in July of 2016. I was impressed with the Sonic, Malibu and the Cruze. The dealership side seemed kind of disorganized, but it was all good. I was also impressed at the patience of the salesman. He was totally laid back and down for whatever I wanted to test drive. I truly appreciate not being pressured into buying something that day when I walked in the door. He only called me once, a week later to see if I made up my mind. Quite the difference from other dealerships in the area. BRAVO! I recently brought in my Sonic (purchased at another dealership) and asked a few questions at the repair side of the house in August of 2017. I can not remember the name of the gentleman who helped, but he was very patient and kind. I truly appreciated his assistance. I look forward to coming back for future issues. For the first time in a LONG time, there was no pressure to do anything at all. He was completely laid back. Both visits were a year apart, and I think it says a lot about a dealership to be so laid back. Maybe I got lucky and just got the most laid back people in the business. I don't know. He has a bachelors degree apparently (says so on his email signature lol..dumbass) but it seems he didn't learn much about sales. Blair is a much better salesman, no lies from him. Klotz disappears on you as well, terrible terrible practice especially since I'm there with my 17 month old. Kept me waiting and waiting. Finally when I'm all in and waiting for hours he told me "well you called us". Yeah that's right I did Asshole, and I'm so glad I left because In under an hour later I was driving away in the car you couldn't figure out how to sell me for 3 days... Concerning the dealership... Don't try to bring your own financing, they don't want banks they don't deal with regularly. The thing about car dealers is they incentive the piss out of their cars and make all the money on the back end (the loan) and never disclose any of it to you. They will routinely tell you one rate and sell you on another and keep the difference... don't be fooled, you are paying one way or the other and if you bring your own financing, expect to be turned away. I learned later that I was charged for it, about $400. And, from sitting on their storage lot for a year, the truck had a mouse nest in the air system that didn't become evident until I drove it for a bit (the nest eventually fell down onto the blower fan and started to smell and make noise). They told me it was my responsibility. I had to pay for the repair, over $2K. Yeah. over $2000. On a lease! They'll tell you whatever you want to hear - '...my ONLY goal is to make YOU happy..." but when it comes to the money, they will give you NOTHING. Take your business elsewhere. read more

You would think after 2 or 3 calls I would have a missed call notification; and if they really wanted to talk, maybe a voicemail? I got nothing. Another lie? I wouldn't be surprised. I was charged an extra $2000 for the "Best Security Fee", I was told everyone pays this price, and that all sorts of work was done on my car. AVOID this dealership at all costs!! My mother was visiting us from Connecticut for four months this winter as she does every year. She wanted an oil change before she went back to Connecticut. While the dealer was doing the routine service they mentioned she had an issue with her transmission that would be paid for under her warranty. Great, no problem. They had the car for serval days to get the pets and complete the work. Then they called and said she need her brakes done as well. It seemed suspicious because my mom lives with my brother in Connecticut and his wife works for the local Chevy dealer and her maintenance is ALWAYS up to date. He wouldn't have let her leave needing brakes. So I called him and he asked Best Chevrolet how much of the brake pads were left. They said 3mm. My brother talked to his dealer/mechanic and they said she'd be good to make it to Connecticut. So after another month of light driving AND driving back to Connecticut AND another two weeks of driving once home, my brother takes it to the dealer in Connecticut for the "needed" brake job. Only to be told she doesn't need ANY brakes done at all. Shame on Best Chevrolet for preying on the elderly. (And if it was a mistake, that's just as bad or worse, that you have such incompetent mechanics working for you!!!). I will tell everyone I know to never spend a dime with you. Today I used the chat feature on the website to let them know I'll be there to view a particular vehicle. The rep got my contact info and within minutes I got a phone call from sales rep Kevin. I explained that I live an hour away. He then set my appointment. When I arrived, he got my id then went to the back. He came back and said the vehicle didn't pass safety inspection, therefore he can't sell it. He then proceeded to show me vehicles that were doubled the price of the original vehicle. I explained how disappointed I was and how this was all a waste of time. Management needs to be aware that if someone made an inquiry beforehand on a particular vehicle, it's imperative that vehicle is available to purchase unless it was sold beforehand. read more

Called and made appointment to see 2016 Van 45K miles at $14.9K when I got there they showed me another van 43K mile $16.9K ....BAIT n SWITCH 2. They have deceptive pricing on websites: one listed $21k and other $16.9K for same van. 3. The van was nice and I asked for $400 discount to buy on the spot, they declined and we left. Five minutes later, they called me to say they would honor the discount at final price $16.5K plus TTL net. I confirmed I will be there to buy. 4. When I ready to pay, they included a "$495 fee" never disclosed until I asked for a breakdown of TTL. I told them it is not what we agreed to and left. Bottom line: they are not upfront and clear with customers and they do not respect customer's time with all their typical used car sales tactics. Had a part that was suppose to be ordered for my car. I was told it would take a week to come in and that I would receive a call. I didn't receive a call until 3 weeks later. So right from the start, the wrong expectations were set by my service technician Robert. If something change with shipping, it may benefit you and your customer to update them on a change in ship time. Furthermore, per Robert and my conversation once I finally got the call a week before I brought my vehicle in for repair, he said he would set me up an appointment for Friday to get my car fixed. When I arrived Friday for my appointment, I was told there was no appointment set up for me and that they couldn't look into or why that was the case because Robert was not there to ask. So now, not only were proper expectations not set, but effective communication is showing to be a glaring opportunity for the service department because the person helping me appeared to have idea how to help me since Robert was not available to ask. Thankfully another service tech said there wasn't many cars to work on that day, so they could still get it done. After returning to pick up my vehicle after I got the call that it was ready, I was told there was a charge of $41 for a rental loaner that I was given that last time my car was held for 2 Days and couldn't be repaired because they had to order a part for it. So you probably can start to understand why I would be extremely frustrated at this point I hope. Of course I challenged the lady checking me out to explain how that's possible and even why, and after partnering with the person supervising the service department that day, they saw that the orginal paperwork for the repair was not related properly to the repair completed on my vehicle today. Yet, another example of how effective communication is a glaring opportunity for the service department. I asked to speak to Robert's manager Pat, so I could leave some feedback, but he was not available that Saturday. All in all, I hope this feedback is valuable somehow and that these mistakes aren't made again for the next customer. You all have to do better going forward as a team, cause this entire experience has been completely unacceptable. Incredibly long wait to get a routine oil change and tire rotation. I waited 1 hour just for my car to get taken back and I had scheduled an appointment a week in advance be. I had a free service within my first year of having my vehicle that I wanted to use through Chevrolet, but I would rather pay $49.95 at a drive up place and be in and out within 10 minutes. I had an appointment and they were taking walk-ins before me. Update: after getting my oil changed my check engine light is on and my vehicle does not run correctly and it's a 2019. My experience with the used salesman was normal enough, though I raised an eyebrow when I asked a basic question about the USB hook ups and he responded "I don't know, I don't really work with these cars." But the icing on this incredibly idiotic cake came when the accounting department credited $3000 to my bank account instead of debiting it for the down payment. Yes, they gave me $3000 on accident. First, they didn't even notice this mistake. I called them to explain that something wasn't right with my account (i.e. I had extra money, not a problem I usually have). A month and a half later and I'm still getting requests for a screen shot of all of my bank account transactions from May (what?? I routinely refuse this request) and they refuse to issue my license plate until they work out their mistake in accounting. Love my car, but the incompetence is NOT worth it. read more

Asked for further explanation and then i was told it is called 'dealer prep fee' ,again does not make sense and why i was not told before. Otherwise deal went great Mandy (salesperson) was great. Talked to Mandy few times but she was not able to explain Jay the finance guy did not want to talk to me even after leaving a message even while I was there in person and asked to talk to them. I had a really bad experience here with the Used Car Sales department. I found a 2013 Ford Escape SEL listed on their website for $16,995. My friend, who has worked in car sales previously, warned me that the price was too good to be true, but I decided to go check it out with him. So we get to the dealership, which feels kind of sketchy. One sales guy greets us and I tell him which car I'm interested in. He proceeds to get the key and tell us it's on their other lot just a few blocks down Vets. My friend and I hop in with the guy and ride down there. We then proceed to drive around THAT lot slowly, until he realizes the car isn't there, either. At that point, we ride back to the original lot, where the guy tells us to wait in the lobby. After waiting for more than 20 minutes, the guy comes back and says, "So what in particular attracted you to this car?" Price, features?" I told the guy I didn't want a different car, I wanted that car at that price. He took my name and number and promised me he'd call me back. Never happened. What a total waste of an hour. read more

Internet sales person was not knowledgeable and didn't even know the internet listed price. When I arrived in initally, I was told the vehicle had sold weeks ago. Very bad service they kept my car for almo a week & didn't do nothing just keep adding charges but doesn know what's the real problem

Came Friday August 25th only 1 technician at 9am, I left .Came back Saturday August 26th at 8am, 6 men were ahead of me, the desk guy said please don't leave, I left anyway. Came back yesterday which was Wednesday August 30th. The front desk guy had jokes, he screamed 3 cars ahead of you. Giggles giggles He knew I'm quick to leave. He screamed I'm just joking. He recognized my 2014 Chevy Sonic which I call Sapphire. So it's nice to be recognized, remembered and acknowledged. When there in the intent to purchase a car, from all the signs and statements on their website they help people with any kind of credit. Well that's a straight lie. They don't help people until you are putting down this ridiculous amount of money down, or someone is trying to con you out your money in some under the table type deal where you're feeding their personal pockets. I will not be returning to this place and I hope you see my review before before you do the same in going here. Truck got broken into. Took it to Best Chevy for window service and a full detail that was all in the estimate from insurance. Took two weeks just for a window to be put in. Came and got it and none of the detail or buffing of the door got done. Never called and updated me with times or progress. Never even told me it was done until I called them. Chris Mitchell is the man at Best Chevrolet! He was so informative and really educated us on the immenseness of the deal we were getting ourselves into-- or how we shouldn't let this one slip by, which was initiated through CarGurus!! I was thinking .. "okay, every salesmen has to say this." Let's just say, I am so thankful for our White 2013 Range Rover Evoque, which was only on the lot for a few days before obviously we scooped it up.
