I visited the Southfield Best Buy to pick up an online order and waited at the online pickup counter while employees at the regular checkout line continued assisting customers there. No one came over to help the online pickup line, even though I was clearly waiting. When I asked the door greeter how the system worked, she explained that checkout employees are supposed to rotate between the regular line and online pickup. That rotation was not happening during my visit. From where I stood, customers in the regular checkout line were consistently prioritized while the online pickup line was not acknowledged. The experience left me feeling overlooked and concerned about fairness in how customers are assisted. Clearer coordination and consistent rotation between lines would make a big difference. Until that process is more consistently managed, I'll likely take my business elsewhere. read more

Service was excellent. Susanna is fantastic! She spent a lot of time with me and my mom, walking us through different TV options and explaining things like OLED. She was so patient, kind, and explained things in a way we could understand. She even helped arrange shipment to another city since I'm moving. She made the experience really easy. I'm not able to give 0 Stars. I was a regular customer of this particular store and Best buy for any sort of electronics for over 6 years now. I has some issues with the products in the past ( Earbuds, Phones and other accessories). But I always gave the benefit of the doubt and let it go. But in the recent times, I bought a mobile phone and it was a damaged piece. It stopped working and wont even power on, on the 5 day of my purchase. I went back and replaced it. They again gave me another defective piece and now they say we cant do anything about it. This was the experience in the past too. They purposely give you the defective piece based on how you speak and how you look. They are a pure scam, at least what I experienced at the Southfield, Michigan store on the Telegraph & 12 mile road. Try to avoid this store at any cost. You dont get anything good for the money you are spending there. Customer service looks like good, they speak well. Its just a good communication in a very pleasing manner. Once you ask for any service, you get nothing. They just try to escape from the issue and use policy to get rid of you. read more

Best Buy Nightmare! Went to Best Buy in Southfield to purchase an 85 in tv and a sound board for my husband's birthday. We purchased the merchandise and then went to rent a Haulers to pick it up because they couldn't deliver until the following week. When we arrived at the store, the order had been cancelled simply because my husband used his membership number and it didn't match my name, even though we have same address and last name. Best Buy in-store ( Nico) blamed corporate and corporate blamed the system. Corporate (John) didn't even offer a coupon for the insane run around. I basically bought a tv twice so that my husband would have his present. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Best Buy to buy ANYTHING. I feel violated. read more

I've been here a few times to get an order I placed online. Once they weren't able to locate the item, and the order was canceled. I'm usually here to exchange my iPhone screen protector that has a lifetime warranty, and a sales associate is nice and puts it on my phone for me so easy peasy. read more

The manager here berated me, threatened to call the police, all because they sold me a faulty pair of "like new open box" AirPod maxes. No apology just a massive attitude and threats. Unprofessional isn't even the proper word. read more

Service is a 10. I had to return a computer mouse because it was no longer compatible with my computer. The cashier was so nice. They have a greeter too when you enter who informed where to go for my return. I have to be honest, I have not received the best customer service at other stores bc they seem to be short staffed, definitely not the case here. The geek squad at this location is not worth your time or money. Not only do they not return your calls, they don't answer them either. When your frustration hits an all time high you think you might call the corporate office can't help you and they keep redirecting back to the dismal Southfield location where everyone has no idea what they are doing. They kept my flash drive from me for over 6 weeks and nobody could answer a simple question. The worst!!!! read more

consistently out of stock of anything remotely important. Geek squad incorrectly diagnosed my computer for an insane fee, and insisted it was ready to be trashed. It was repaired for about $250 with entirely new parts that are working perfectly. They are not capable of proper repairs and do not have the equipment necessary to complete anything in a timely manner and I remember when Best Buy used to have the best reputation and it has been nothing but downhill trash over the last few years - please don't go here. read more

Best buy customer service on Telegraph in Southfield, MI store is horrible! No body in there seem to care that the customers are in there to make a purchase! they just do not need any more money. Everyone is running around busy and not giving any customer service. Not a place I will visit again no time soon! I had to ask the security where something was located. There were none on the shelf, no agents to assist regarding stock, options nothing. I spoke to the security on the way out with the fact that no one is available to help or seem to care that customers are roaming around looking for items. I'll just write about the experience since no one in the store cares! i had a few more purchases looking to purchase in the store, I could not locate nor did I receive any help. no problem, some other store is now benefiting with a purchase. no matter how large you are, you are never too large to loose customers and business! customer service is horrible! no thanks. read more
