When buying a tv we were shown the one we wanted and said we would take it. The sales people then proceeded to ask if we wanted it right now (no hun i'm just pulling out my card and asking for it to waste your time). After paying for the tv they said it was ready and they would wrap it and meet us out front. We sat in front of the pick up for 30 minutes before going in to ask what the hold up is. The lady who checked us out was very helpful the whole time but the two knucklehead teenage boys were the issue. They then proceeded to say that they were told we would pick it up tomorrow, which I know is untrue because I told them both to their face we would take it now. The men working here are more worried about flirting with the female employees than earning their paycheck. Their only motivation is a girls perfume so I recommend this location save money and give them coupons to perfummania as payment. Safe to say I wouldn't recommend this store or experience to anyone. read more

I was having an issue with my iPhone 13 today. I checked with Apple to see where I could go locally to get assistance and they recommended Best Buy. I haven't been to a Best Buy due to poor customer service I had received. Today however was quite different. I visited the Apple area in the store. After waiting a short time, a guy named Jaz asked if we had been helped. I told him I had not and he said he was happy to help. He checked my phone. He could not solve the issue so he took my phone to their Geek Squad. A couple minutes later he returned. My phone was back to normal. Jaz was friendly and efficient. Purchase many products from this location. Always had very good customer service in the past either from the front end purchasing, or the back end returning. But I had an experience 2 days ago from a gentleman working there who simply goes by the name "J". That alone was pretty cool but it gets way better..... I have a fairly good working knowledge of sound, or at least within reason. I'm 66 and have a hard time hearing dialogue through my $2,500 surround sound system. I asked Jay if he can send someone over to help us that has an understanding of sound bars and he said he could help.... OMG!!!!!!!!! I AM DEFINITELY NAMING MY NEXT KID AFTER THIS GUY!!!! He explained what might be the problem but he had so much KNOWLEDGE that I had total confidence in his wisdom and instruction. I've worked retail for many years and knew my product inside and out to the point where people would call the store to see if I was there before they stopped in. They had total confidence in me! Consistently Best Buy, these big boxes are exactly alike throughout the country. Large selection of retail priced DVD's and games, game consoles, consumer electronics, computers and some computer accessories, home electronics, and small and large kitchen appliances. Staff isn't too hard to find when you're looking for assistance and they are usually knowledgeable to an extent. Then there's the geek squad, many of which are capable of fixing most computer problems. I find Best Buy's prices are a little on the high side, but they do have an excellent offering of products that is unmatched. But you can usually find the stuff cheaper elsewhere. read more

I am so impressed with the Rogers' Best Buy and the employees that work there. I purchased a stereo for my Jeep and was looking for Best Buy to do the installation. The experience was amazing! The salesperson who sold me the Stereo was incredibly knowledgeable. I was genuinely surprised at her knowledge as she guided me through the process. (I wish I remembered her name to giver her credit). The installer, John, was incredible! First of all, John knows his stuff. Before my installation, John advised me that the back up camera I purchased may not have been the best option. After some research/discussion we were able to determine the back up camera I should get. Forever grateful that John didn't let me get the wrong camera. Post installation, I could not be happier! I love my stereo and I love my backup camera! John was an excellent installer, who made sure that the items I purchased would work for me! read more

I am a Best Buy "Total" member (highest paid member subscription), and received horrible overall experience with Best Buy Geek Squad Central Services and this local store. Central services obtained all Apple MacBook info, created the appt and service request, and sent me off on a 3 hour waste of my day. Showed up early for my appt in Rogers, only to wait in line another 40 minutes. Finally made it to a Geek Squad team member, and he said "sorry, I can't help, our online Geek Squad isn't very knowledgeable". In short, they suck at anything other than simple repairs and upselling the uninformed. I will be cancelling my premium "Total" membership, it's a waste of time and money!! read more

Always helpful and friendly. Just make sure you ask them to do a price check on everything your buying. They'll match all the big retailers. I also do the Geek Squad protection on almost everything I buy. Because tech doesn't seem to last as long as you would assume, I seem to always use it. The only Geek Squad plan I'm not a huge fan of is the phone plans. By the time you pay for them, and the cost of the replacement, its like 3/4th the cost of just buying a new phone. read more

Retail is DEAD. I really didn't understand that statement until today. Every time Iv come here there are always 30 employees walking around doing stuff, but no one is really here to help or assist you. Not like the old days any ways. Every single person I asked a question, had to go ask another employee, who didn't know the answer either. Or the employees are not educated enough on the products where you feel confident on spending the money. A retail purchase now a Days; you know what you want and you head straight to go get it. Three employees had to help me find an HDMI to HDMI mini cable. I don't know what one is, I just know that's what we need. It took three of their employees to hand me an HDMI to DisplayPort mini cable, instead of what I needed. I drove 30 miles b/c they told me it was in stock. I download their app and I see they had multiple lengths of HDMI to HDMI mini cables in stock in the Rogers store. Been her a handful of times since moving here. Mostly because of problems with my phone, so I dealt with geek squad. They have always been nice and helpful. However, last time I went to pick up my phone I dealt with a very friendly and helpful guy. I was there for over an hour since there were some complications with my phone being transferred to the new one. At the end he sent me over to the mobile area for them to correctly activate my phone - which In the past Geek Squad has always done. I'm very patient and it was fine, but he could've done it. I think he was new to the Geek Squad, so I understand that, but still. Last time my husband and I went to the mobile area to discuss phone and plan options. I have lived in Rogers for most of my life and I have been going to this location since it opened (at one point when I worked at the Promenade, the managers recognized me every time I was in so I have been here a lot over the years). I cannot recall ever having a bad experience but my most recent visit was truly exceptional. My fiancé and I were in to replace/upgrade our projector and we were assisted by Cory O. He went above and beyond for us and he provided some of the best customer service that I have encountered. I've worked retail and customer service for many years and I would be proud to have him as an associate. This is a follow-up to a review on why one should not get a Geek Squad Protection Plan on a major appliance at Best Buy. After having mix-ups with scheduled appointments, it took 4 visits and as many major parts, including the primary circuit board, water pump, and agitator sensor to repair the washer. (The repairman took a guess on what could be wrong, so I might not have even needed all the parts he eventually put in.) I'm grateful for all the new parts, but I think it would have been cheaper--and more convenient for us--to have received a new washer or have had a certified technician check it out from the start. Best Buy would have replaced it after 30 days, but 3 weeks was long enough to have the washer repaired, one week during which time we had visitors for Christmas. The Geek Squad repairman, Dustin, was friendly and a very nice person. He did his best within the parameters he had to work and even had the handle to the dryer repaired. I don't fault him for the way Best Buy has set up their repair program. It was an extreme inconvenience to have to deal with this type of protection plan. read more

Tried to buy a laptop this past Sunday from there and we went to check out and the best buy worker, working the customer service desk told us we could only check out with the geek squad. The geek squad was busy fixing computers, or at least assessing the damage of the computers, one at a time in the line of about 7 people. Meanwhile, the 'best buy' guy was doing nothing but barking orders to customers (me) and not willing to swipe my card for 500 bucks for the computer. Their black Friday prep was some of the worst in Northwest Arkansas, their return policy sucks, and they are not knowledgable. I went there I check out cases for an iPad I bought my wife. The guy approached me and asked if I needed help (unheard of at Walmart), then told me that I would never find the case cheaper then 89.00. I scanned the barcode with my amazon app and it was 49.99.... Regular price. Bought a Wii game on marked at 15 but scanned as 20. Returned I late when Walmart had it at 10$.... Regular price The real difference was when I went to return two gifts that were defective, but opened. They told me that they wouldn't take it back without a receipt... for a defective product that was a gift. I didn't care about getting my money back, I would have taken store credit or even a soda since the pieces of junk were useless to me. I felt like Mad Men's character "Campbell" from Mad Men when he gets hassled for a receipt and he keeps telling them it was a wedding gift and he didn't have the receipt. That show is based in the middle of the 20th century, and retail customer service (minus Best Buy) has come a long way in the last few decades.
