Prior to my breast cancer/double mastectomy - my bra size was a 32DD. I'm a small framed woman. The owner insisted that there was no way that was my size & would not agree to fitting me for this size. She insisted I'd look better with a C cup. This isn't her decision! My breasts were amputated from my body & if I wanted DDD she should have offered them. When my custom fitted prosthetics arrived they still didn't fit right ... her answer "just stuff your bra with tissues like the rest of women". Seriously?!?! In appropriate- in considerate. I promised myself that once I hit 15 mins, that I would leave and let my items go, no matter if I were next (which I was) or about to come up to register. I'm so sad I had to put my items back, but I did want it be known that later in the night is a much more difficult time to get service at this store. I don't doubt that they would be on top of it any other time, as I've worked in retail and seen the "slow times" get totally slammed, so I'm giving them grace here, but again was so, so bummed to have yo leave without my goodies!! The lady helping me started asking really personal questions about if I was living with my fiance yet. When I told her no she was obviously judging me for not living with him before we got married. Which I just thought was crossing a boundary for someone I've literally never met and whose business it is NOT. I got a lace up back on my dress and asked if I could see it without the panel behind it (some brides do that) and she basically told me I shouldn't do that because "it would look like lingerie" and she kept calling my wedding a "Bible wedding" and like wouldn't drop it even when I tried to move on. Basically implying "how could you want to show your back if you are a Christian". Then she goes on to talk to my maid of honor about "no brides really wait to move in with their finances anymore" and she went to tell the other girl at the counter about our conversation in front of me while I was paying.
