Customer service is non existent. We bought at and it didn't even last two years. Since I purchased the extended warranty I was told as soon as the returned tv got to head office I'd get my money back to purchase another. First of all they lied. When head office got the tv they sent me an email saying they would take a few days for them to actually diagnose the issue and they would get back to me. Well they didn't get back to me until the morning of the 31st... So I only had until midnight to get in on the sale that I was promised. Well that never happened because of a myriad of issues they had online with my email. The sale would not go through. So then I kept trying all day and night and then missed the site because they failed to send the code earlier. Not too mention I could not get help from their head office. When I tried calling their head office no one could help me and I talked to several different people. I was in the phone with over 4 people and on the phone for nearly two hours and they still could not complete the sale. Plus we were charged an additional $100.00 because of missing the midnight deadline (which was their issue, not ours). If I could I would just go elsewhere to buy my tv, but I'm stuck with these losers. read more

a sales person at my auto dealership suggested i go to Best Buy and purchase a bluetooth device to plug into the USB port in order to get GPS on my auto dash screen. i was told i didn't have the feature. i walked in the door and met Erin and tried to explain what i was looking for. after talking for a few minutes he told me to drive up to the door and proceeded to check out my system along with my phone. in a matter of minutes he had google gps and car play functioning great. he didn't make this old guy feel like a tech loser. i appreciate his dedication to making a customer happy. thanks again for superb service!! read more

It's been a painful few months navigating issues and trying to work on a semi-functioning computer and when my PC decided it was finally time to quit on me the only place I trust to take care of it is GeekSquad. Came in looking to buy a new computer for my mom. Sales associate (who was marinating in perfume) had zero desire to help us. She showed zero interest in helping us, zero interest in explaining what options were out there, therefore I had zero interest in purchasing anything from them. So, I went this morning to get some galaxy buds , everything was fine , social distancing, person taking orders outside of the store , person getting payment etc.. until ! one of Ur clerks brought my galaxy buds and the asshole throw the buds on the table where u have to make payments like if I was paying 5 dollars for them.. I spent 225 dollars getting those earphones for a birthday present and meanwhile as soon as I tried to charge them the charging box wont work and pretty sure it got damaged because ur clerk throw them like they were cheap and nothing to take care of it . I understand the situation we are living in right now but being an asshole won't help anyone. I had lost my phone and your employee named Osama helped me buy a replacement then spent considerable time setting it up perfectly. My thanks to him. I returned home and half an hour later, my superintendant knocked on my door. A neighbour had found my old phone in the parking lot and turned it in. The next day I went back to Best Buy, Osama wasn't working but young Alex was on duty. I explained the situation and he immediately reactivated my old phone then wiped clear my new phone and accompanied me to the front counter for a refund. Again all his efforts took considerable time. You'll be going there because you have to, not because you want to. Since Future Shop closed, options in Canada are limited. Asking the person at the door where a specific item is will get you a hand wave to an area. They should assign numbers or letters to the aisles so that the customer isn't left to wander the store. Sometimes they offer free online shipping. read more

Buyer Beware!!! I went to Best Buy to buy my son a microwave that was on sale yesterday. i went to pay by debit, it was approved and then their system crashed. I checked my account on my phone and the money had gone through. They couldn't print me a receipt and said if I wanted to take the merchadise with me I would have to pay for it again.They said the transaction would not go through and the money would be redeposited in my account in 1 to 2 business days. If I did not wish to pay again, I could come back and make my purchase after the money had gone back into my account. This process took about 20-30 minutes of our time and we barely got an appology. Luckily for me, and them, it was not a large transaction as I would have lost my mind!! So as of Monday night there still shows 2 debits on my account. They also told me that this has happened several times lately. i won't be back!! read more
