It took a little while before someone answered the phone, but after that it all went smoothly.
I had already made arrangements with Virgin customer service to change my plan and my phone, but as we were in yet another snowstorm, I didn't want to venture out without confirming that the store had the phone that I needed. This proved to be a wise strategy as the first two stores that I called didn't have the phone in stock. When I called this location I spoke with the manager, Matt. He checked to make sure that the phone was available then offered to hold it for me. I very much appreciated that since this particular phone was hard to find.
Upon my arrival, Matt took a considerable amount of time to explain the phone's functions to me and answered my questions. I was concerned about the high cost of the phone cases but I didn't want to take it out in the snow unprotected. Matt found me a case that was on sale and knocked an additional $5 off the price. Sold. He gave me his card and offered to answer any questions that might arise over the next few days. I didn't avail myself of his assistance, but it was a kind gesture.
I have been generally quite pleased with Virgin's customer service in the three years that I have been with them. I was prepared to jump ship when my last contract expired, but no other wireless company could match their plan's features. Now I'm pleased with their in-store service as well. read more
