The owner of this store is very active on twitter which is really nice when you need to ask about anything. The store is also attached to a vintage clothing store which has some pretty cool stuff. I do find Uber Cool Stuff to be a bit expensive. However, I haven't compared their prices to stores online (plus shipping costs) so it may end up being on par. Most of the time, everything was fine. There was one security guard however that wanted to make my life miserable. Everytime I walked there , he would kick me out. He would start off by saying I needed to wear a mask( even if walking alone ) then he would say there was no walking due to Covid. We weren't in a lock down so I don't get it. Plenty of my friends walked in the parking garage and had no issues. This guy has a real issue and is definitely on a power trip. So what is the deal-can you walk there or not? They have hundreds of thousands of cards stacked with stars, and their prices are low. This location is close to where a lot of students live and they do have stock, but it runs out quickly from the past few times I have been there, but I can usually find what I'm looking for, plus the convenience factor of the location. The whole store has terrible cellphone reception, and I rely on my phone for my PC Plus Points app and my Flip app so I can price match, with it no reception, or very little, I can't use my phone to price match or use my PC Plus Card. This is one of the main reasons I don't prefer to come here. The prices seem to be a bit cheaper than other grocery stores in the area, and you can definitely price match items from a certain list of competitive stores they will price match from.
