Apparently, Kathy seems to think that Goodwill policy over rides London bylaws, which is absolutely untrue. Kathy herself and another female employee she had with her were very rude and discriminatory. I have sent an email to the bylaw enforcement office and am awaiting an update as to what will be done.

We were all talking about it in the aisles. People were looking but their carts were empty. I went to the Sally Ann and donated there and spent my money there. Phew! Talize saves the day! I was heading on a big trip and needed a backpack as a carry on for the…read moreflight. It was back to school season so I decided to check some thrift stores. I went to a few with no luck. I went to Talize and saw they had a few small racks in the front of the store. The bags were quite small, for kids mostly. Some were not in the best shape. Thankfully I decided to browse around the store and found they had a luggage section in the back. It was a bit of a mess, I'm assuming because most people were looking for school bags as well. I picked up a really nice North Face backpack which would have worked really well, except the main compartments zipper was broken. Darn it. I continued rummaging through until I found it! The most perfect Dakine backpack! It was in perfect condition and it was only $9.99!! This was easily a $50 bag so I consider that a steal! The woman at the counter was really cheerful and I was happy with my experience there. I found it didnt have the typical 'thrift store smell' of old fabric. It was clean smelling and fresh. I will definitely be returning there soon to check out more stuff.

Actual amount billed $60.79. Disputed this transaction through my bank, and they doubled down and said it was a valid expense. We will not be shopping there again. Robbery for one pair of 2nd hand pants. Follow up: Bank advises we were charged for a 2nd item that we did not purchase nor did we receive. Talize check your cameras and figure out which teller is stealing.
