I wish to commend Sandy and Nicholas from CTP Computers for exercising recent high-quality customer service. In the month of May I approached them inregard to a portable multiple-screens purchase that required careful configuration measures, in order to work with my notebook computer. It was not an easy matter to sort out. However, Sandy and Nicholas -- and Sandy was most directly involved -- were both patient an helpful in determining the peripherals needed, and to then accomplish several different trouble-shooting adjustments to make sure everything worked properly. Charged me $22 dollars for a "rush" that did not happen. At 12:30 I stressed that it was imperative that I get my computer back by 4:30 PM or to call me. No such luck! They had closed early at 5:45PM. The following morning I was told that they could not answer the phone because they were so busy. I hate it when someone I pay lies to me and I paid for a "rush" that did not happen. To fix my problem it would cost me more and then even more to back up my files. Then no guarantee that it would be fixed. I went to Computer Guy around the corner and he fixed it all with no fuss no muss. I can't say enough about CTP. The owner, Sandy, knows his stuff and shows through his actions that happy customers are more important than short-term profit. It can be a tiny bit frustrating - I've stood in his store waiting for 15 minutes while he helped someone by phone instead of telling them to bring their computer in - but that just shows that he won't sell you anything or do any work that you don't really need. Back again so basically I am out a laptop ... the last one he (Sandy) traded me for had a bad motherboard and CPU. It also had Fan issues and also the first Dell M4500 I had had fan issues forgot to mention that in fact went to take it in that was the last time I would see it and he took it.. it said it had a fan malfunction.. Look I'm not doctor or anything else but I can tell when a CPU mother board or else is shit.. and I knew they all were going.. Well the fan on the Dell was. So Took the dell in for the last time and this would be the THIRD time.. We had to take it in. SO get it in there and it had never ever said this before now. Fan Malfunction! Red flag. Also yes they are used laptops.. but for 400?; that's a con. That thing wasn't worth 100. I won't be satisfied until I get a completely free laptop from them.. this was by far the worse experience I have had with a store of this kind. So the next two laptops I was given which by the way should never have happened. But he knew the other ones were crapping out and yeah once my 30 days were up he wasn't going to be doing me any favors. Real nice patricides; sell junk to people who you think aren't going to say shit?; Ha. If you want a just a clue as to how bad it is in there go in look around BUT do not miss the corner of the shop look in the back area were all the keyboards and mice are. You'll start to notice a recurring theme. Junk! In the front right hand corner of the store are loads of screens half are just that the other few left are full PC's built in to them; And they are just lying there.. on the floor.. and just to the left of those you'll notice massive amounts of i7's in junkie desktops.. also i5's and i3's the i7's have bigger cases. I can tell you right now.. you buy one good luck, I know for fact it'll last what maybe a year or less. I'd say if your lucky over 6 months. Like I said before to really test what is on the MoBo helping keep the PC going until then do a reset. In windows 10. It's easy to follow and you can get the support teams a MS to help if you need .. let them take remote control of the PC and they will do it for you. I hope this helps someone, helps them realize there are less expensive but better quality computers out there. If I were to be in your shoes before all this and buying there.
