We use this location for all of our electronic, TV, appliance needs. This location has a large parking lot and is conveniently located right off 43. With a lot of helpful and approachable employees on the floor and in every department, we have never had an issue getting a question answered or assistance with choosing a product. The staff in each department are actually knowledgeable about the products, which is always appreciated. We have had to return items and exchange items, and never had an issue dealing with customer service. I would totally recommend this location. read more

I am terribly disappointed in the way this store conducted themselves. Having walked in on a Saturday to take advantage of a deal on the "Verizon Branded - Galaxy S10" for $699.99. $200.00 off the normal $899.99 price - only hangup was I had to pay for this via the Verizon Device Payment Plan. So the sales associate was one keystroke from finishing when I said I did not want it activated immediately. He indicated that this wasn't possible. I asked. "can I return tomorrow when I have time to deal with migrating the phone and get this deal?" He said yes. Next day I'm in the store and apparently I cannot trust sales associates there are the sale expired and no one seemed interested in honoring what they told me. Total farce, no one seemed to care at all about their "word". Don't go in and if you do, get everything in writing. read more

If there was a way to give negative stars I would. I purchased the geek squad protection when I purchased my computer. I had an issue with my computer charging, so I took it in. They have now had the computer for three full weeks and it is still NOT fixed. When I asked for an estimate on how much longer I was informed they received all the parts a week ago and had no estimate on when it would be ready. When I called to check on the order I was on hold for 15 min at which time their phone system hung up on me and I had to call back and start over. I have found the geek squad service to be the unfriendly and put out by my asking how long it will take to get my computer back (after the 10 day estimate I have only called 2 times). I even told the geek squad operator that I would NEVER recommend Best Buy to anyone, and she agreed! read more

Did not deliver and mount TV. After waiting a week for the only open deliver date we could accommodate, i called to understand why no one showed up. I was informed Employer Sean incorrectly typed in telephone number and address for deliver after paper work was filled out. The delivery group could not contact us. Manager Evan was incapable of sending the group back to the correct location and the next deliver date we could accommodate was a month out. Requested refund. This is a great example of poor service and explains some of the reasons Best Buy has been declining over the past few years. Internet purchase on Amazon and 3rd party install company will be our next step. read more

The Best Buy in Fox Point is simply your average Best Buy. Since they're a smaller store, they don't stock many of the products that other locations do, so always check online availability before stopping in. At times, I've noticed that the store can be cluttered and messy, with products on the floor, empty drink cups and soda cans sitting on shelves, and misplaced items. Staff are typically friendly, but the wait at customer pickup can be much too long. In most cases, I'd be able to stroll into the store, pick out an item, and check out in less time than it takes to order a product online for in-store pickup. Otherwise, this is an average location. read more

If you have a Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked membership don't shop at this store. Fox Point #654. I have one which I bought from this store last year. It entitles me to 20% off all new video game software. Even after buying the membership at this store, I'm told I don't have it when I check out. I show my receipt and either we blow 15 minutes waiting for a price override or I get to deal with the manager. The manager at my visit yesterday told me his store doesn't have to follow Best Buy corporate policies. I don't have a GCU membership and even if I did, I can't use it on anything other then day one new releases. I showed him the program on the website and how when I add items to my cart, they reflect the discount. I even had a order I made online with the discount waiting for me at the store pickup counter. He refused and said that's between me and corporate. He said he would match the website this one time. I asked the manager for his name and he wouldn't tell me. He wasn't wearing a name tag either. I said that if customers with the GCU membership are being denied the 20% discount on new video game software then his store is taking in more revenue then it's supposed to. It's a legal problem if enough GCU members get together and show proof they bought games from that store and didn't get the discount. He gave me a dirty look and said have a nice day. The customer service desk employee was really rude. I asked him where store pickup was and he barked "over there". I walked over and waited. He walked over and rolled his eyes. Then he barked "what's the name". I said Sleeping Dogs. He barked "No! what's your name!" I told him and then completed the pickup. I've complained on the Best Buy corporate forum however good that will do. read more

I chose Best Buy because of their prices, because of my positive expriences purchases photo and computer items from them, and because I am a Reward Zone member, The sales person was very friendly, professional, and helpful. At the time, I felt really pleased with the transaction. I had to pay an extra $140 for installation, and she scheduled a day for installation, a week and a half later (that was the first available appointment), and told me I would get a call the day before with a 2 hour time frame. I told her that I work in the mornings and would prefer an afternoon appointment, and she made a note of that. Turns out, BB subcontracts out the installation, in this case to Installation Managment Inc. The day before I got a call at 4:30 pm with a FOUR hour morning time frame. I told the woman I spoke to that it wouldn't work for me, and she rescheduled for another appointment a week later. This was repeated three times, and finally (after speaking to a fairly rude employee of IMI) they scheduled me for a Saturday appointment, nearly 3 weeks after I purchased the dishwasher. On that day, I was given a 9-1 timeframe, and then got a call at 10:30 telling me they had a truck breakdown and needed to move my appointment to a 12-4 timeframe. I called Best Buy to complain. Their resolution was to send me a $50 gift card. If I had known that Best Buy would contract out to a company that made the whole situation so difficult, I would have arranged to hire a company of my choosing to install the dishwasher rather than pay Best Buy and IMI to give me the runaround for three weeks. In the future, I will likely consider one of the many other options I have for appliance purchases. read more

Time after time this location has been a disappointment when it comes to solving a problem related to insured products. This is the second and last time I have delt with a customer service sales person, and two assistant managers. My 24 inch touch screen monitor stopped working. After roughly twenty minutes the cashier was able to find the transaction. When we tried to evenly swap the monitor we were informed that it was discontinued. Much to our dissatisfaction they did not have any other touch screen monitors. When we attempted to have geek squad put in a work order the girl was unable to "link" it. When I asked for a supervisor who would know how to resolve it. She told me there was no one to ask. She asked for the Courtney's assistance when she said that if she can't find it my only solution is to return the monitor for a refund. At this point I am stuck with no other choice even though I paid the warranty and loved the product I had. The girl refunded me $129. It seemed rather low, but the cashier told me if I went to the store I purchased the protection plan maybe they could have "linked" it. At this point it seemed as though not one person knew what they were doing. As a elite consumer this is very frustrating. As the cashier tried to do the return the system wouldn't allow her. Courtney came over and put in a "exception" and returned the funds on a gift card. When I told my fiance he said that didn't seem right and insisted we talk to the other manager(Sean). Since this was two years ago I assumed we maybe paid some with cash or it was on sale. Since they typically run about $400. I ventured off to the appliance department to make a different purchase of a microwave. The manager (Chester) there was very helpful and understanding. He provided the only exceptional quality customer service the entire time. As I was checking out my fiance stormed up to me livid because not only did the cashier pull up the wrong product receipt, but Courtney who did the override didn't catch that the return was for a TV I purchased and returned. Thus explains the inability for the return to be successful in the first place. (she essentially returned a returned item) But she FAILED to realize it was the wrong item. As three different employees looked at this receipt and didn't catch this mistake.... it is no reason the young lady in geek squad was able to link the item and protection plan. Both my fiance were completely baffled. My fiance later told me once he and the other assistant manager realized the size difference and the mistake. They went back and fixed the first error and he was able to find the correct receipt. A refund of nearly $500. As I originally thought. My fiance told me as I was purchasing the microwave the assistant manager Sean told him that " It takes two to tango and his wife was equally at fault for authorizing the return". I am in utter disbelief and can't believe these so called professionals can't take responsibility or apologize for any inconvenience. We spent two hours at this location. The managers purposefully ignored the four different pages from the customer service girl. The entire experience was a nightmare to say the least. Now I am looking for a touch screen monitor that best buy no longer carries. Although I am thankful that I wasn't robbed blind by almost walking out with less than what I paid for the product and without my product. I didn't relaize that it is my JOB to second guess every step the customer service girl and assistant manager do. Not only have I lost my entire faith with the knowledgeable staff at this location. But the fact that no one apologized is beyond me. Moving forward I will need to either review their step by step procedures while handling any of my transactions or I will need to drive twenty minutes out of my way to a location where people can accurately fulfill a return the first time. read more

I traveled some distance to get the last remaining Sharp microwave model. A pleasant young man carried it to the checkout for me...where things went decidedly downhill. The young woman who was handling checkout - I was the only customer in sight - started by mumbling the now ubiquitous question at every checkout counter, "Dijafindeverythingyouwanted?" I asked her to please say that again, and without looking up, she mumbled it once again. I asked her if she had a rag or paper towel to wipe what looked to be a year of dust on the carton, as it was a gift I was taking right to the recipient. She "sort of" looked up and said, "We ain't got any rags back here." We completed the transaction, and I asked once again if there might be something I could clean the carton off with. Now she gave me her full attention and said, "I told you we ain't got rags back here." She pointed to the far end of the store. "You want me to walk all the way back there to get you a paper towel??" Everybody gets a bad day and I am happy to give her a pass. But there is "having a bad day" and simply not caring. read more

Purchased an LG Dryer from the floor because it was the last one in the color we wanted. Two years later, the circuit board burned out, and LG would have extended the warranty if it was not a "open box" purchase. Best Buy woman was rude and said, "it's not our job to tell you that."
