We thought that we needed to have our Subaru key fob reprogrammed because it stopped working after many futile attempts to replace the battery. We tried a dealer and they were not able to reprogram it. They did not try anything else. We decided to see what Batteries Plus could do for us. BP tried one day, but the tool they were using to reprogram it, did not work. They requested we come back the next day when the manager was there. My husband went back the next day and the Manager attempted to reprogram the key fob. Unfortunately this time, the attempt failed. The Manager did not give up and suggested to replace the battery. To their surprise, the key fob worked!!! To my surprise, it's still working after a month. Thank you to the Manager who did not give up and made my key fob work again!!! read more

**WARNING** *Good Reviews do not Apply to Black People* This never happens but I lost the only key to my car! I learned online that batteries plus provides fast and friendly service. Called about 5 times before my car was towed there to be sure of the process, they assured they could help. The minute I arrived with my car that changed! I gave them a valid state id( because I lost my license) and a registration. They said the registration wouldn't work so I went home to retrieve my title. When I bought my title they said my ID doesn't work. I offered my passport and they said only a valid license would do. They asked for the co owners license, which I provided, then they said they would need to see him in person. When he is on his way to the store, they basically told me I wasted and was still wasting my time because it was too late, they couldn't make me a key. This store created and recreated rules only to avoid programming a new key. Would not recommend!!! read more

I recently acquired a new (to me) vehicle, and needed batteries for the key fobs. While out running errands today, I realized I was close to the Batteries Plus location on Capitol Drive in Brookfield, WI. I called ahead to check on the availability of the batteries, and also asked for directions. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a member of the staff, who promptly acknowledged my previous phone call, and quickly tended to the battery replacements. I went to this place to get a new screen and battery the battery is fine but the screen sucks. The first screen I got the corner would go in and out and it was super laggy in the first 4 days. The next screen was the wrong color, they said "it's all they have." And that screen was super fragile I bumped in to a chair it fell out of my hand and the corner is shattered. Absolutely Horrible - incompetence beyond belief! As Square Trade's preferred (and only) approved service centers for cell phone repair, this Batteries Plus Bulbs lacks even the basic skilled technicians to service a smartphone. Initially contacted to repair a Samsung Galaxy S8, they didn't have the correct parts in stock and said they would order them; I could come in in 2 weeks to have the phone repaired. After waiting 2 weeks, and calling them to ensure they had received the correct parts, they couldn't find any record of the request and said they would place them on order and again have to wait two weeks; they would call me. After waiting for more than 2 weeks, I called again and was told that one of the parts was on back order but should be received in a couple more weeks... so I waited. Again, waiting 2 more weeks, I called - and was told the vendor sent the wrong part so they had to order it again, but it would be received within the week. I waited 10 days and called again because I had received no call to find out that they had everything they needed to repair the phone. I went in on a Sunday morning at 11:00 to have the phone repaired and was told that, "The guy who normally fixes phones wouldn't be in until after 1 pm" but the guy that was there, Bryce, said he would read the manual and try to fix it. So, I walked over to Starbucks and waited... and waited... and waited... only to get a call to find out that the part they ordered wasn't enough to fix the problem. I went back and was told that the part they needed to fix the problem wasn't available from their vendor and they couldn't fix the phone. WHAT???!!! They put the phone back together and I went on my way 4 hours after going it to have it fixed which followed almost 8 weeks of screwups from the "ordering parts" perspective. I had to send it Square Trade and they replaced the phone. What a waste of time! This was the worst customer service experience I ever had! read more
