During the visit, I was first told the AirPods would be replaced, then later told no replacement would be provided, even with manager approval. I was told my only options were to keep the defective product or send it to a repair depot with up to a 2‑week turnaround, leaving me without my AirPods. I was also not informed that ear tips should be removed before sending them in, risking loss of accessories. This caused significant wasted time, travel, and inconvenience. Apple confirmed the defect but failed to provide a reasonable immediate resolution.
