I knew I would do more blinds in the future, so naturally I called the owner to get a quote for a less expensive, yet still esthetically nice blind on several windows in my house. The quote went well, though I remember vividly that I thought the blinds had a lining - I told the owner I wanted more privacy, and he understood. My quote came in a little under $2000, unlined, as discussed - when I tried calling him about the lining - and emailing him, he dodged every email and text. I finally got tired of the owner not responding, so I picked up the phone and called him on a workday at 7:30-8 - to which he was irritated and asked me if I knew how early it was - don't most people that work/own their own business get up early? I do! I own my own business. I was also told that I am not his only customer - who says that to a repeat customer?! It's business 101! Paul, the installer, installed a defective blind in my back hall - too late - he drilled holes in the door. He said he would order another replacement ASAP. I can only pull down the shade 8' on a long skinny window that is over 6 feet! I am sure you can imagine my irritation. I tried to be calm, email him every week or week and a half so as not to harangue him - no response. I finally rec'd a pithy email after sending him several texts, and emails; the one and only response was 'it was ordered the day of install' this was early Jan. It is now almost March. Bryan will not return my calls, emails, etc. the shade was approx $400 - and it totally defective! I am afraid to touch it for fear it will break. Them shades look cheap for almost $2000. I just wanted him to make good on his promise, apparently he doesn't care. I would advise people to go elsewhere for an estimate - even Lowes. Boy was I wrong in thinking the owner would be a moral, decent, honest businessman - I was wrong. If anyone needs to discuss, come see the defective blind, or knows a good small claims court attorney, I would appreciate the name of someone that can help me get my money back. I will never use this company ever again. Anyone I speak with will know what happened to me, and hopefully not suffer the same poor customer service and warranty provided. I even reached out to the corporate store to see if they could help, no help at all! It seems to be company policy to not service the customer. They get the money all upfront, so if anything is wrong, you are relying on them to do the right thing. It really opened my eyes to what the owner and company is like as a whole. I will never recommend this establishment ever again! Amy Martin Remember: caveat emptor - buyer beware!

The people were friendly enough, but didn't seem to keen on giving me the help I needed. They asked me to go do the measurements and come back with it. NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY. If I could leave -5 stars I would…read more. They are extremely untrustworthy. They replaced roads in my neighborhood for months and it was pure chaos. I've never seen "professional" constructors work so unsafe in my life. They let a 12-year-old kid follow them around for weeks when he was supposed to be at school. He would be out there all day and even ride on their equipment with no protective gear. I watched him almost get hit as he stood behind a bobcat and the operator CJ never checks his surroundings before moving. They were approaching the finalization of their concrete replacement, we live on a corner, so they always parked around my house, in my grass (ruined large edges/parts of my yard) they even parked in my driveway and when I came home, no one was to be found. A large pickup truck with an attached trailer parked in my driveway with no permission. My wife works from home, and no one knocked to ask. Couldn't get in or out of our garage. On Oct 31st, 2023; 8am, I take my daughter to school every day. A large dump truck blocked one side of my driveway impairing sight and the other side of my driveway had mounds of dirt and gravel making it impossible to safely exit my driveway or see down the street with other trucks and rollers randomly placed. I practiced extreme caution as I was in a brand-new vehicle we just purchased. We waited in our driveway so long my daughter asked why we haven't left yet. I rolled my window down as the dump truck driver was starting his vehicle for the first time that day (parked at my driveway on the street). He saw me waiting, looking his direction with my window rolled down. He rolled his window down and verbally confirmed that I was clear to go and started waving me on to exit the driveway as he looked forward making sure no one was coming. As I slowly backed out, he was facing the same direction in which the operator CJ was working in all the way down the street, at least 100ft away from us. As I shifted into drive out of my driveway, I suddenly get hit by CJ and he ripped fully though my rear end driver side of my car and he immediately yelled "FUCK! I'm so sorry man I didn't see you cause my bucket was full of dirt blocking my eyesight." Which it was, literally driving down the street blind in a rush. I read a review on here that some guy was impressed with CJ (google reviews) and crowned him the Usain Bolt of operators as he moves that machine as fast as Usain runs track. Well, I can confirm that, because CJ ripped through my new vehicle resulting in about $5k of damage that they refuse to claim liability on. Even though CJ admitted fault to me and the police officer on the scene. They claim I was at fault when I was instructed to leave my driveway with no warning from the witnesses escorting me out of my driveway. They have avoided me for months, were very rude and hostile to me when seeking 50/50 liability as I was fine to pay half of something I'm not at fault for. Id never hire this company. Beyond my situation, they put so many neighbors at risk daily, were extremely rude and misleading when needing help or assistance to move around them. The day before I got hit, an older woman down the street almost got hit by the same Operator. They hit the side my daughter was on and if we would've been any further back, she would've been extremely hurt. NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY, read all the other low star views, they tell the truth and if you do hire them, you'll regret it. They will ruin your property, house/car or worse with no remorse and deny all liability.

I stumbled upon this store way back in February/March during the Van Wert Chocolate Walk. It was on of the stops and the moment I walked in the store, i gave an audible gasp. This place was beautiful! The decor was amazing! I was immediately imagining how it would look like in the house i was buying. I knew at that moment this store was dangerous... because it would separate me from my money in no time! I spoke with the owner of the store, Joanne, when i found out that they also did drapes. My new home came with some awfully garish drapes... purple drapes!?!?! Black drapes for a dining room? Ridiculous! I needed some new drapes and Joanne promised me she would show me some great options. She came to my new home and measured, she came up with someone wonderful ideas. During this time i also found out she was an interior designer. I just hired her to help me decorate the home and get me new drapes and decor to make my home beautiful. This was a great decision! Joanne has impeccable taste! She listens and understands the type of style her customers have... she then takes that and brings pieces that tastefully use that style to adorn and enrich your home. The new flooring on my stairs is already off the day after they removed the tape and said it was good to go. They completely forgot to trim my kitchen. My BRAND NEW sliding door/screen was ruined by this company and they didn't even care! They used spray foam on a part of the flooring they were "fixing" and the foam went up the screen door and attached it. We did get the screen slider broke free but now it does not slide properly and there is no way to get the foam out of the actual screen. This door was less than a year old. Talked to the manager and it was excuse after excuse. They gave a "discount" on our final bill which was a LIE. Simple math tells anyone 6K off 15K does NOT equal 14K. We also had one room not even touched and they still charged for it. The work quality is trash! We had to hire another company to come in and repair at least one thing in every room. Do not waste your time or money on this place if you want it to look good. This is the Fort Wayne IN location. They are posting my location as CA which is weird. I can only think they don't want people to think this review is for the Fort Wayne location but it is!
