I should have trusted my gut that NY Auto Find was too good to be true. If you're considering…read morebuying a car here, read the reviews carefully and consider other dealerships. I purchased a 2011 MINI Cooper Convertible from them in August 2024. Within weeks, the car was back in their service department multiple times for a serious engine issue. I was assured everything had been taken care of, so I trusted the repairs. The came back quickly and less than two years later--and after driving only about 7,000 miles--the engine completely seized after exhibiting the exact same symptoms. I am now left without a car and out nearly $14,000. Nick was awful to deal with from start to finish and showed no interest in taking responsibility or making the situation right. The only bright spot was Carmen in the service department, who was always pleasant and professional--which is fortunate, because I spent far more time with the service department than anyone should after buying a car. Based on my experience, NY Auto Find does not stand behind the vehicles it sells. I would never do business with them again and strongly recommend taking your money elsewhere. DON'T DO IT.

After I bought the car for $26,000 and change in cash, I find out the car was crashed. An Amazon driver lightly backed into the car, upon taking it to the body shop, I'm told the whole backnof the car, bumper and parking sensors were glued on. The while back of the van was glued together. It was never disclosed to me that the car was hit and fixed with glue. Since the car was glued together, the insurance won't cover the bumper cause they say it was already damaged. Within a week of buying the van, the sunroof was like a waterfall in the rain. I then had to drive over 4 hours from PA. to have them fix it which it still leaks. It took them 3 days to play with it and I had to pay for a motel room for 3 days and be stranded in new york at some shady motel for 3 days with no loaner car even. After just giving them almost $27000 I would if thought I would atleast get a loaner and not have tonpay Uber to get me around. Thier explanation that was said to me was "we will have to get on our detailer to clean them better". They were mad at the detailed cause could see water stains around sunroof so could tell it leaked. Sure, let's just clean it and hide the defects! I wasn't asking them to pay fornthe whole thing but they shouldn't atleast split the cost of $1000 with me. If purchase anything from this dealer, make sure you inspect the car thoroughly or have it looked at by a mechanic and body shop. In my opinion it was a very shady thing to do and that's the reason used car dealers are looked down on. Be careful and do your homework.

Capital One gives you the confirmed overall price for the vehicle so you don't need to negotiate the price once you get down there. After 2 hours of test driving and completing the applications they jumped up the price by $9,000 and claim that the sites listed price is how they get business in the door - false advertising! A $9,000 commission must be nice! A bunch of scammers! 0/10 I addition, no where on the site did it say there were any disclaimers. The sales manager also mentioned that he couldn't find your hidden information listed on Capital One Auto Navigator nor did the site bring me to your main website. He clearly said which I'll quote "this is how we get people in the door". https://www.capitalone.com/cars/vehicle-details/2019/Mercedes-Benz/GLC/300/WDC0G4JB8KV146083 You should be the one doing your own research and not wasting the customers time. I called prior, showed my quote upon arriving and once I completed the whole process which was well over 2 hours is when I was told that not only would my quote not be honored but jacked up by $9,000 minus any taxes or dmv fees which I was more than willing to pay. Again, it's bad business! 0/10 and would not recommend even to my worst enemy. Do better!

I Got Fooled - Don't Let It Happen to You…read more I take full responsibility for signing the contract. Like most people, I trusted what was being handed to me without combing through all the fine print. That trust cost me--and I'm sharing my experience so it doesn't cost you too. Victory Cars Central had me completely fooled. I originally posted about how the Dodge Durango they got me into was my dream car. I thanked Oliver and Laura for their "honesty" and hard work. But the truth is--they were just working hard to get me stuck in a terrible contract, and they knew exactly what they were doing. Here's how it went down: We were originally told our down payment would be $5,500. Then out of nowhere, we were told the bank had flagged the deal because I supposedly entered the last digit of my Social Security number wrong, and now they suspected potential fraud. Because of that, they claimed the bank wouldn't approve the loan unless we put down $8,900 instead. Maybe I did enter it wrong. Maybe I didn't. But we trusted what they told us, and agreed to pay the extra $3,400 without seeing a shred of proof. No email, no official note, nothing from the bank. Looking back, we absolutely should have asked for documentation--but when you believe people are being honest, you don't expect to be lied to. And then came the hidden fees. They slipped in a $4,375 "advertising fee"--for a car that was never even advertised. As I said in a previous post, they showed us the truck before it had even been washed or prepped for photos. There were no online listings, no ads, nothing. So what exactly were we paying for? They also added a $3,500 warranty to the contract--without providing any details. How long is it for? What does it cover? One year? Two months? We were never given a straight answer, just another vague fee buried in paperwork. We put down $8,900 on a 2018 truck priced at $17,500, and somehow walked away with a loan for $551/month for 72 months. That's over $48,000 for a used vehicle. For comparison, a brand new version of that same model goes for about $42,000. So again--where did our $8,900 go? And what really sticks with me is how Laura insisted that I sign everything alone. My husband and my mother were there with me, but she kept them out of the room on purpose. We didn't even talk about the car--I was distracted with personal small talk while she rushed through the paperwork. It was intentional. They didn't want anyone else there to spot the red flags or ask questions. I would never recommend Victory Cars Central to anyone. They prey on people who are kind, trusting, and just trying to get into a decent car without getting taken advantage of. Oliver and Laura are exactly what people fear when buying a car--they smile, they act helpful, and they completely take advantage of your trust. If you're considering this place--don't. Protect your money, your credit, and your peace of mind. Demand proof. Don't sign anything alone. And if something feels off, it probably is.
