I will give the store credit for quick delivery, that's about it. After sitting in the recliner for 15 minutes , it was covered in sheets,I realized it was not for me as I experienced back pain. When I called CKS to return the chair they said they do not take returns due to Covid Restriction. The World Health Organization has declared that Covid is not contractable from furniture. Eventually I was told I could return the chair for store credit and it would be thrown out. While I was out $2,400 I decided to give the chair to a needy person rather than sen it to a land fill. When I sent a friend to check out the store they noted that there was no "no return policy posted" and the sales person did not offer the policy until asked Think twice before purchasing from CKS. Not only did they have just what we were looking for, they were very accommodating in answering many questions, always helpful with straightforward, no nonsense advice, and not at all pushy the way many sales people can be. Our sectional was delivered flawlessly, with great care, and kindness. We are very happy we found such a dedicated family business to work with and highly recommend them to anyone looking for furniture. We also saw the same sectional "on sale" at Cardi's for a few hundred more. Friends have shared stories of their difficulties in ordering furniture during this time and while the whole industry is dealing with setbacks, especially family run stores, they communicated well and were great to work with. Definitely go there!

I bought a sectional on September 7, 2020 to be delivered in 8-10 weeks. It was delayed from a November delivery to January 2021, and now again to March 2021. That will be 7 months. And I would not be surprised if it was delayed again. The COVID manufacturing delays are killing me so much that I ended up just buying a cheap couch from Wayfair because I was tired of having nothing to sit on in my living room. It arrived in literally 3 business days. It is taking everything in my willpower to not cancel the couch delivery altogether. I wish there was more they could do. I would recommend that anyone who wants major furniture pieces right away to not plan on B&P delivering quickly.

When we purchased our furniture, we also purchased an extended warranty/protection plan for additional peace of mind. Previously, one of our couch cushions developed a tear, and Bernie & Phyl's replaced the cushion. At no point during that process was I informed that the replacement was being provided as a "courtesy" or that accepting the replacement would affect future coverage under the warranty plan. Recently, a second cushion developed a similar issue. When I contacted customer service, I was informed that the repair would not be covered because the prior replacement had been handled under the manufacturer's warranty and was considered a one-time courtesy. This was the first time anyone had communicated this information to me. Had I been told that the previous replacement would impact future coverage, I would have had the opportunity to make a more informed decision and understand the limitations of the coverage I had purchased. What made this experience even more frustrating was the interaction I had with your customer service representative. As I attempted to explain my concerns and dispute the decision, the representative ended the call. Being hung up on while trying to discuss a legitimate warranty concern is unacceptable and falls far short of the level of customer service I would expect from a company with Bernie & Phyl's reputation. As a customer, I feel misled regarding the terms of the warranty coverage and disappointed by the manner in which my concerns were handled. I purchased the protection plan in good faith, expecting transparency and support when issues arose. Instead, I have been left feeling that important information was withheld and that my concerns were dismissed. I am requesting that Bernie & Phyl's review my claim, investigate the customer service interaction, and provide a written explanation of why the current issue is not covered despite the warranty plan that was purchased. I would also appreciate consideration of a goodwill resolution given the circumstances and the lack of disclosure regarding the prior replacement. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and professionally. If not, I will need to consider escalating my concerns through consumer advocacy channels and local media outlets that investigate customer service.

I have been a…read moreclient for 20 years at this store and have dealt with many lovely woman and men over the years, but unfortunately I can longer accept the arrogance and ego of the current manager, Frank. He treats his customers and staff with same dismissive matter of fact tone that doesn't belong in a retail customer service/ sales and managerial role. Today I came into the store to ask for a discount bc a fabric that I had ordered 2 months ago had a subtle imperfection through the entire role. That went unnoticed until after my upholsterer had cut into it. I brought the remaining white fabric to show him. He looked at it and then me and said smugly "I cant take it back and nothing I can do to help you". When I proceeded to challenge him, he in turn "you are supposed to inspect all fabrics before it's is cut into...". All of which I expected as their standard response into policy. What I am upset about was his tone and his arrogance in shamining me. He had a he ability to respond positively and even offer me some discount on future (btw, which he did after I told him I'm never shopping here again and will be reviewing store and him in every social media and review site possible). Frank, you manage a retail store which customer service should matter. Your demeanor is arrogant and condescending always. Your reputation precedes you and as far as I concerned earned. To the other lovely saleswoman, I am sorry for disruption this morning and work hard to compensate for your manager, Frank. Calico corporate sales, look into this review. He has this reputation in our community and many people like myself would rather drive to Natick or order from smaller designers or retail stores UPDATE! I knew from 20 years as a client that Calico corporate would respond with urgency and respectfully. Donna, Regional Manager, called me within 24 hours of this post and thoughtfully listened to my "drama" with Frank, Manager from Hanover MA store. Donna immediately apologized for unfortunate behavior of one her employees and immediately offered to remedy my initial simple request. I am happy to post I received exceptional service from Natick MA store manager, Deb!     I visited Calico Corners because i wanted to purchase two drapery traverse rods and finials. It was…read morethe first store i went to and I was all set to move forward with the transaction until the installation charge was calculated. Installation was over $300.00 which I thought was excessive and exorbitant!!! I went to two other reputable local merchants, purchased from one, and in both cases the install charge was under 100.00. I contacted the Calico Corners website, inquired about the install fee, and have yet to get a response even though the site says a response in approx 24 hours. Still waiting!!!!!!!
