This used to be one of my favorite places to get my car detailed. I would drive all the way from the city because the attention to detail and customer service were always worth it. Unfortunately, today's visit was really disappointing. This is actually the second time I've had to come back after inspecting my vehicle because areas were missed. Before I left, I even showed the staff specific spots that still needed attention and they assured me they would take care of them. When I checked my car again, many of those same areas were still untouched. My rims still had visible brake dust and dirt on them even after I specifically asked that they be cleaned thoroughly. My gas pedal was still dirty, and several interior trim pieces still had dust and residue. These aren't hidden areas--they were things I specifically pointed out before leaving. What makes this so frustrating is that the quality of service has noticeably declined. I came here because this location consistently did an amazing job and took pride in the little details. That's why I was willing to make the drive. Sadly, today they lost a loyal customer. I genuinely hope management takes this as constructive feedback because this location used to set the standard for excellent service. I'd love to see them get back to the level of care that made me recommend them to others. read more

Berwyn Auto Spa - 1 Star Review I went to this place for the first time on Friday, August 8, 2025 (location: 6307 W 26th St, Berwyn, IL). I arrived at 8 AM, second in line, and told the attendant that it was my first time there and that I came because of the good reviews. After I gave the key to the attendant, I told them that I wanted the outside and inside cleaned. I handed over my keys and went to the waiting area, which is very nice with a bar and Harold's Chicken inside. While that looks impressive, I didn't come for drinks or food - I came for a car wash. When my SUV was ready, I paid and went to the car. Right away I noticed that the chrome on the front of my vehicle was still wet. I mentioned it, but since there were more cars behind mine, I couldn't properly check everything right there. Just 200 feet away, I pulled over into a parking lot and discovered that all four door edges were wet, my touchscreen was full of fingerprints, and the interior was not properly cleaned at all. Because I like to give businesses a fair chance, I went back on Monday, August 11, 2025, explained everything to the attendant, and told her the only reason I was back was to give them a second chance. After waiting even longer than my first visit, I picked up my car again - and this time it was even worse. My driver's door was dried properly, but the other three doors were left wet, the exterior was not fully cleaned, and the touchscreen was left dirty with my fingerprints all over. To make matters worse, I noticed I was overcharged $5 compared to the first visit. According to their own posted price board, my small crossover SUV should be $40 for inside and outside cleaning, yet this time they charged me $45. The only difference between visit one and visit two was that I had complained the first time, and it felt like I was being punished for speaking up. To me, this place is all about appearance, not quality. The waiting area looks fancy with luxury seating, a bar, and food, but the actual car wash service is extremely poor and overpriced. $40+ plus tip for a wash would be fine if the work was done right - but both times my SUV was left dirty, wet, and not worth the money. I gave Berwyn Auto Spa two chances to make it right and they failed both times. Instead of improving, they overcharged me. Based on my experience, they care more about selling drinks and food inside than providing the quality car wash they advertise. Attached are my two receipts showing both visits and the price difference. I will not be returning, and I don't recommend this place to anyone who wants their vehicle properly cleaned. It's a shame - nice place but bad, really bad quality cleaning service. It's a shame. read more

I've always liked coming to this spot. The wash is solid, and I don't mind waiting. The owners have set it up right--you can chill, get some work done, grab a coffee, or even a bite to eat while you wait. A few weeks back, I took my BMW X7 in. Everything went smooth, and the car looked great. Afterward, like always, I pulled into the lot next door to reset the seats for my wife and kids. That's when I noticed my kid's headrest was busted. I went back in, talked to the employees, then the manager, and even ran into the owner. To their credit, they all owned up to it right away. The manager told me they'd order a new one and give me a call the following week. Now, I've dealt with car washes before breaking stuff--wipers, antennas--you name it, and nobody ever takes responsibility. So, to be honest, I wasn't expecting much. But sure enough, a week later, the manager called and said they had the new headrest ready for me. When I showed up, they were super considerate and even offered to install it. You can tell a lot about a business by how they handle mistakes. These guys did right by me. They know good service keeps customers coming back--and that's exactly why I'll keep coming here. read more

I just had my car cleaned at Berwyn Auto Spa. It literally looks brand spanking new. I had their deluxe Carwash, which is an interior and exterior cleaning. My car hasn't looked this good since I bought it. To top it off you can have either a cocktail, a cup of coffee, or something to eat while you wait. How can you beat that? read more

I went in for an outside wash only. Hoping for a short line it was just that. Pulled in right away. Gentleman with a red shirt came up friendly and cordial. Only wanted the outside of the vehicle washed. As I was watching them wash the truck I noticed someone was inside of the truck with it running and the ac on. I didn't say anything. There's already enough bad rep with things going missing in this industry. When my truck was finished I was charged 30.90$(because I paid with debit card) When I got into the truck I seen my passenger side seat was slanted all the way down. I don't know about everyone else but I have a wife who as soon as the seat is moved ever so slightly she has some slick comment about who was in the truck. For future references (if management is reading this) if a customer asks for the outside of the vehicle to be washed only. There should be no one inside of it. Overall nice establishment just small details that ruin for it for me. Probably won't go back. read more

They are very friendly. But there is no reason a car wash should take so long. It was over 2 hours!!!!!!! . Extremely overpriced, $35 for inside and out. Plus I have to pay a debit card fee. If you're going to charge this must I expect a clean car. For all the time they took "dying" the job was still terrible! My break paddle was still so wet. Smh read more

I was in search of a hand car wash near my house and was referred here several times. They did not disappoint! It's a new car wash company with LOTS of potential to become very popular in the area- and here's why... Customer Service was top notch! The owner and staff were all very kind. I received a drink on the house which was a huge plus! yes, they have a bar while you wait which is awesome! plenty of space to lounge with huge windows to watch your vehicle receive the spa treatment. My truck came out looking brand new again after all this snowfall and salt buildup! Can't wait to be back for some detail work! Honestly, I tried to like this place but I continue to leave disappointed. It takes an hr or more to go through the line and at the end for the car to still be dusty and dirty from the inside, front dash, and didn't even do the trunk. Didn't notice until I got home. Like what takes so long and yet it's still not a good clean? Going back to my usual spot, they clean way better, quick like 30 min max wait time and charge half the price. This isn't it.
