Pro tip: It takes them a little longer than your average hand car wash, but that is expected when you see the level of attention they give to your car. This used to be one of my favorite places to get my car detailed. I would drive all the way from…read morethe city because the attention to detail and customer service were always worth it. Unfortunately, today's visit was really disappointing. This is actually the second time I've had to come back after inspecting my vehicle because areas were missed. Before I left, I even showed the staff specific spots that still needed attention and they assured me they would take care of them. When I checked my car again, many of those same areas were still untouched. My rims still had visible brake dust and dirt on them even after I specifically asked that they be cleaned thoroughly. My gas pedal was still dirty, and several interior trim pieces still had dust and residue. These aren't hidden areas--they were things I specifically pointed out before leaving. What makes this so frustrating is that the quality of service has noticeably declined. I came here because this location consistently did an amazing job and took pride in the little details. That's why I was willing to make the drive. Sadly, today they lost a loyal customer. I genuinely hope management takes this as constructive feedback because this location used to set the standard for excellent service. I'd love to see them get back to the level of care that made me recommend them to others.

Just about everything went right. I scheduled a professional detail several weeks in advance, and…read moregot a confirmation call the previous day to double-check that I was coming in. I arrived exactly on time, was told 2-3 hours, and they were finished in 2.5. The interior of the car was excellent, no complaints. The exterior was mostly excellent; they forgot to finish a spot or two (no big deal, I finished them myself quickly), but amazingly they were able to remove paint transfer from my bumper that I had given up on long ago, so that was a welcome surprise! I feel the professional detail is an excellent value given the price they charge. The only caveat to getting service at Detail Kings is their location: It's in the lower level of a parking garage. This was a minor issue getting back to the location using ride sharing (uber/lyft) as the app and driver get confused by the destination info. But if you are willing to wait on-site, or have a family member to pick you up and drop you off, then this is a non-issue, and I would definitely recommend Detail Kings to others.
