I have been seeing Justin weekly, for a little over 2 months now, and he is the third and final PT…read moreI'll be seeing. I made minimal improvement at the other PTs, who unfortunately, due to insurance, have no choice but to treat many patients at once and have other untrained staff members showing the exercises, with little direction, while the PT pays no attention to your form. And not very much one-on-one time. Tired of paying for what amounted to unsupervised exercises in a gym setting, I knew there was something better for me out there. I found Justin through an Internet search and it was exactly what I was looking for - a personal PT trainer :) And now that I've been seeing him I know I'd never go back to conventional PT. One hour a week, totally devoted to me - and not the same prescribed print-out of exercises that everyone pigeon-holed with 'back and neck pain' gets. Our time is spend with him doing hands on manual work and targeted exercises, specific to my issues, that change weekly. He had me stop doing most of what I was doing and explained in detail why they were either not helpful, or too advanced and how I had gained 'fake strength'. I was shocked, surprised and hopeful. He is understanding, patient, explains the methods and exercises in a relatable way and always takes time to answer questions (and I have ALOT of them). I'm always impressed with his knowledge and expertise in his field. He is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, which makes a difference. I love the fact that he shoots video of you doing the exercises so you can watch at home to make sure you're performing them correctly- so helpful! My progress has been a bit slow, but it's the right kind of progress, not a quick fix, and I trust his knowledge and methods completely! I refer him often.

After a visit to the…read morechief of shoulder and wrist surgery in a world class metropolitan hospital, he was advised that surgery wasn't necessary. The orthopedist advised him to begin physical therapy to begin the arduous road back to lifting. I did the research and found Justin Feldman. I called his office; he answered the phone. BONUS ! I spoke at length with him, asking many questions including why he didn't participate in insurance plans. He was patient and gave detailed, thoughtful responses to each query. BONUS ! I told him I would discuss and call for an appointment if so inclined. He offered to speak with my husband in depth if necessary. BONUS ! Factoring into our decision to use Justin as well : I have had a lot of PT over the past 3 years. The outstanding facility I used doesn't participate in our insurance plan, and it would have been challenging to get the time in necessary, as well as being quite costly. The facilities that participate are unknown entities, and there is a co-pay each time. The other factor that glared out was Justin's methodology: 1 client for 1 hour once a week, with written instructions for home practice. We made the appointment, and the first visit was a good one. The second was even better, as Justin spent time following the hourlong session teaching and explaining to my husband about his injury and the anatomy and physiology of healing. No one had been able or willing to answer the many questions and concerns my 56 y/o power lifter had regarding his future activities utilizing an important muscle..... Justin took the time and had the expertise to present the facts- he even used a computer anatomy app to illustrate and explain. Justin Feldman is a consummate professional. He practices his art in an holistic manner.... healing is a full body/mind experience and Justin understands and celebrates the connection. As middle aged, active people, we will keep Justin Feldman as an important member of our "graceful aging " team.

I just finished a ten-session PT appt schedule and I couldn't be more pleased! My main man Alex did wonders in bringing my shoulder back from the edge! Thank you very much for taking good care of me! John MacKay

I saw Christine, who was absolutely awful! I found her to be extremely unfriendly and very uncaring! She told me I couldn't use the pool because I have lymphedema in my lower legs and feet, and currently had discharge coming from my knee injury, then made excuses why I wouldn't be able to use it even after that healed! I got horrible cramps in my legs when she left me on the bike, and then she callously asked me if I was going to be able to do any exercise at all! Even though this place is right down the street from my house, I will NEVER be going back there again, and I suggest you don't bother with this place either!!! Take a look at the other reviews - pretty abysmal. I should have checked that out before even bothering with this horrible place!!!

Honestly I don't know how my physical therapy would have gone without Donn. I am a ski racer and…read morewhen the recovery from a foot surgery I had in early October required a much more difficult rehab than I expected I was concerned with whether or not I was going to be back on the slopes in time. Working with Donn he was there to help me and push me to make sure I was ready to go by the time the season rolls around. I now sit here in early December ready to get back on snow just two months removed from the surgery. I truly feel had I gone to any other physical therapist for my rehab I would not have been recovered in time for the race season. Not only that, the training and advice he has given me along the way has been huge to help me be as prepared as possible for the upcoming season. If you are an athlete or active person trying to bounce back from an injury or surgery, Donn is the guy for you.

His knowledge of how to treat and rehabilitate injuries of various parts of the body is deep, and he provides thorough follow-up instructions and support as needed. When I tweaked my back (lumbar disc issue), there wasn't a doubt in my mind that Donn could help me - and he did! I remember reaching out to him so worried that I would be in pain for days, but he was able to fit me in the very next morning. Though this was several years ago now almost to the day, I still do the exercises Donn prescribed to help me with my mobility and pain management. I would recommend Donn to anyone and everyone looking to rehab and injury, or just improve their mobility and fitness. He is a true expert and a kind spirit.

Renata was my physical therapist for another 8 weeks and she was very supportive and knowledgeable about what I needed and even gave my advice on some circulatory issues I had. Each week she pushed me to outdo what I accomplished the prior week. We worked on climbing stairs, my balance and finally walking without a walker or a cane. It wasn't easy but Renata was patient and truly cared about my wellness and the hard work paid off.

She said it was only going to keep getting worse, she told me some redness on my foot was the start of an internal infection (went to the doctor and it was absolutely NOTHING), and even attempted to scare me that I could still get lymphedema in my arm because I had breast cancer like 15 years ago. I never had radiation or had a lot of nodes taken out, so she was totally wrong! The ridiculous massage she gave me did absolutely NOTHING and it was a total JOKE ~ utterly USELESS!!! Going there was a complete waste of time, and when I complained to her boss, she didn't seem to care either! I don't need health care "professionals" to act this way ~ not only NOT helping me, but making matters even worse! Obviously, I would never go back to this place ever again and I would advise anyone who is reading this to avoid it as well!!
