I have been looking for a cabriolet 2018 Audi S5 Cabriolet for at least a month, either they were sold by the time the dealer got to me or the price wasn't right. I saw that North Bay had a few on their lot(which is unheard of) and I contacted them about a particular S5 Premium Plus. It was after hours and they got back to me next day, and we began the process. From the pictures, the car looked immaculate, low miles, off lease and a fantastic price. As I work and live in NY and they are in CT, I was looking to do the deal online. I contacted many dealerships outside of my area that would only talk to me if I drove to their dealer, some as far as Virginia. Being out of state was no problem from the team at North Bay. Put in a credit app online and they went to work to make the deal work. My credit has some dings and this was going to be third vehicle that we financed. A lot of banks wanted us to trade in one of the vehicles but we were looking to have three, as my son needed a car and we were going to be gifting him one of the cars. I don't know what or how they did it, but they were able to not only find a bank willing to accept the terms but the rate was very agreeable. Gave me a call and email on a Saturday to tell me the deal was done. Again, like no dealer I have ever dealt with, they asked for no deposit and started to prep the car for pick up! They put the car through their shop, full check up, and even put on a set of BRAND NEW, HIGH END tires! We drove up to CT from Long Island, NY to pick up the car on a Saturday am. Since we purchased the car sight on seen, it was the first time being at the dealer and seeing the car. Timmy and the team immediately welcomed us, had the detailed car bought around with temp plates for us to drive before taking care of the paperwork! The car was beautifully detailed and in absolute phenomenal shape, it looked like it just came of the factory line. Timmy took us through the pay work, and it was seamless! No high pressure add on nonsense, just a small dealer fee(which wouldn't even cover the cost of new tires on this particular car) and we added GAP insurance. Less than 40 minutes, in and out with a beautiful S5 cabriolet! This place is what a car buying experience should be, especially with cars at this price point! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a late model luxury vehicle that is perfect condition, low miles, great price with ZERO HASSELE OR dealer BS! Timmy is a great dude and the rest of the guys in the office were also great! It's the happiest I've ever seen people watching me take the car home, it was awesome! GET HERE TO GET THE PERFECT CAR! I'm writing this experience for two reasons:…read more 1. To inform you to always do your due diligence when making any purchase, but especially a large purchase. If I had shown up at this dealer in the morning to purchase this car and found this out in the moment, it would have been a problem. 2. To encourage car salespeople to 'do better'. I've met some great ones, but most of my experience has been disappointing. Dec 5th, 2025 North Bay Imports in East Windsor, CT and I recently settled on a price for a car, and they sent me a deal sheet. I sent North Bay Imports a deposit and they prepped the car for sale. Financing was in place, insurance for the car was acquired and an appointment was set to pick up the car. In the meantime, I had been in contact with Audi corporate and they, Audi, sent me the original window sticker for the car. When I looked at the original window sticker, the car options listed on North Bay Imports website and the original window sticker did not match. The option missing, that is listed on North Bay Imports website for the car I ordered is the AC charging package, and it is an $1,850 package. I immediately reached out to North Bay Imports to see where the mistake was. The next morning the Sales Manager, Steve Powers, leaves a message saying that, in fact, the mistake was theirs. In Steve's message to me when I pointed out the discrepancy he said, "It looks like the vehicle that we were on doesn't have charging ports on both sides, but it still has the same capability to charge on a level 1, level 2 or level 3 through that one port..." Steve, no it does not have the same capability because the AC charging option adds a 19.2kW AC onboard charger. Justin, the salesperson, swore it was a mistake and not deception so whoever is reading this will have to decide that for themselves. The comments made to me by Justin, after I told him that this was "stereotypical dealer B.S. (I said the entire word)", were, "...I'm glad you caught it because that would have been a bad trip for ya." He also said, "...I've been here for four years, this is the first time this has happened to me, generally it doesn't." Generally?? And then he says, "I didn't know, or we didn't know, that the, the second charging port was a sticking point for you..." Sticking Point? That's like saying that if they knew that a sunroof was important to me, we would have told me there wasn't a sunroof even though they advertised that the car had a sunroof. He was acting like this was my fault. Unbelievable. Assuming an $1,850 option isn't important to anyone shows the lack of care and accountability when it comes to listing their cars. And so, since we were supposed to pick this car up in less than 24 hours, I gave them the option of taking the cost of the missing option, in which they admitted was their mistake, off the price of the car or give us our $500 deposit back. Steve's response was, "We're not discounting the car." Discounting the car, he says? That's an interesting choice of words considering the almost $2,000 option missing from the car they were attempting to sell me. The one thing I can say is that they refunded me my deposit very quickly. Too bad they just wasted two weeks of my car search. This dealer is two hours away from our home, we rented a car, had our cashier's check in hand and ready to go. You know that feeling you have when you're about to get a new (new to us) car? North Bay Imports ruined that for us. The vehicle we were going to purchase was labeled "Sale Pending" on their website. The "Sale Pending" label was removed almost immediately after returning my deposit. But you know what still remains? Yup. The false and misleading information about the car is still on their website. (Screenshot taken on Dec 7th at 1:14pm. They were informed on Dec 5th 8am). Does this sound like a business that genuinely made a mistake? I can't tell you how much I DO NOT recommend North Bay Imports located in East Windsor, CT for your car buying needs.

Buyer BEWARE!!!!! I…read morepurchase a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Limited with a V6 from them on 10/24/2025 which had 76,601 miles on it. They were so nice during the sale. When I got home, they hadn't completed my Massachusetts registration and the grace period for transferring the plate was almost expired. I found out the RMV rejected the initial title application because they calculated the sales tax wrongly. They attempted to charge me the higher Connecticut rate. Also, I found out they double charged me for several of the state fees. They claimed I needed to give them a separate charge for title and registration fees because they never included that in the sale for Massachusetts purchasers, but they WERE also listed on the bill of sale. In further review of the contract I noticed they charged me 199.00 for a "VIN Etch" service but I never asked for that nor did they physically etch the vehicle anywhere. I did some research and the service is desirable in high crime areas, but I also found out that Connecticut law requires them to PHYSICALLY etch the car if they charge for it. They claimed it was a VIRTUAL etch registration to make it easier for law enforcement to identify the car if it was stolen. I told them this was bogus. Even auto zone or other parts stores can identify the vehicle from VIN or License plate so surely law enforcement can find out the owner quickly. I told them they were breaking the law and after several phone calls and some hostile treatment they eventually agreed to refund that fee. They actually accused me of being hostile because I challenged the charge. They told me it is their standard practice so they scam everyone with this charge and make thousands of dollars a month doing it. About a week after buying the car, it immediately started throwing a P304 Code for cylinder 4 misfire and an auto start/stop error frequently which may be caused by the misfire. It turns out it had a bad ignition coil which explained the slight shudder when the engine started. After replacing the coil and all the plugs at a cost of about 57.00 for the coil and 82.00 for the plugs the code disappeared and the engine starts smoothly. You could see the number 4 plug was wetter compared to the other plugs. They likely knew about this issue and kept clearing the code so a customer wouldn't detect it on a test drive. While completing the paperwork, they told me they would take the car out back and service it. I assumed that meant top off fluids, do an oil change and other things that are customary when purchasing a used car from a reputable dealer. While getting ready to replace the coil and plugs on 4/17/2026 I noticed the anti-freeze was low and when checking the oil, it was just below the safe zone and looked black and sludgy. I have only put 2160 miles on this Jeep since I bought it because it is my secondary vehicle. I drive a Tesla daily. It would not use that much oil, nor would it look that bad. I had a 2012 Jeep with a V6 that had 260,000 miles on it that I sold in 2024 when buying the Tesla and it never used oil and never looked that black and sludgy. These guys never serviced the car and if I had driven it waiting for the mileage sensor to indicate the vehicle needed servicing, it could have seriously damaged the engine. Stay away from these guys or make sure you review your sales contract in detail and check to ensure they actually service the vehicle. I'm very upset with the after-the-sales experience, and I think they are fraudulent in their charges to customers.

After test driving my dream car, everything felt good and did my own inspection of possible issues. Nothing major (or so I thought). Bought the car that same day and literally starting to go to crap weeks later. Called the dealership and Spoke to Tony(the owner) and said that it was impossible, they did their own inspection of the car! I began to tell him that, the fuel pump failed won't start, the backup camera failed, the whole radiator cooling system was mounted incorrectly and was freely moving around causing damage to the AC compressor and serpentine belt, the rear differential had metal shavings in the diff fluid, and to top it off, the parking sensors weren't even the correct ones that belonged on the car! So no backup sensors! OVER $6,000 WORTH OF PARTS AND LABOR!! I towed the car in and said that he'll take care of it was covered under there 3 month warranty. After 9 days of waiting the car is ready to be picked up. They only fixed the fuel pump and pushed everything else to the side. I told Sims that the other stuff wasn't fixed and said that Tony didn't tell him about it. So I tried getting ahold of Tony ask why wasn't the things fixed as discussed and he would duck my phone calls or either be out and would call me back. Never called back. So Now I'm stuck with all the headaches. They may have nice cars but anyone can polish a turd. Avoid them like the plague.

That just wasn't the case and I saved considerable money by shopping around. Balise has inventory. They have nice customer service areas. They can talk a good game.... But.... The last three times I've shopped for new vehicles none of the balise dealerships came close to offering prices comparable to other dealerships that I worked with. Three thousand on the same car and trim is a lot of money. They also offered far less on a trade in. Do yourself a favor and shop around. Money in your pockets is better than money in theirs! After purchasing it, I discovered that all four wheel bearings were bad. Another shop had quoted me around $3,000 to replace them, while this dealership offered to do the job for around $1,000, so I brought the car back to them. When I received the car back, the ABS, brake, traction/DSC, and service-engine-soon warning lights were all illuminated. Those warning lights were not on when I brought the car in for the wheel-bearing repair. I can't say with certainty what caused the lights, but the fact that they appeared immediately after the repair is obviously concerning. I also don't have the original paperwork anymore, so I can't prove exactly what happened, which is frustrating. Regardless, this was my experience, and I would personally recommend having any vehicle from this dealership inspected by an independent mechanic before purchasing it.
