    Bertera Mitsubishi is where I'm going for both service and sales for LIFE. I just moved up to MA in July and had my car (Mitsubishi Lancer) serviced there. Had a great experience with the service manager Tim. He was honest, funny, down to earth, and most importantly, patient with me and all of my questions. On Labor Day (early September), I unfortunately got into an accident and totaled my car. I bought a 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse LE from them at a hella fair price. I could tell they weren't playing games and just wanted to sell the car. Period. Shout out to my salesman, Pedro, and the sales manager, John. Both were really solid guys who helped me every step of the process. Mary, the financial director, had me laughing out loud the whole time I was in her office. The whole experience was 100% I HIGHLY recommend Bertera Mitsubishi. There are quite a few Mitsubishi dealerships in the area to choose from, but this is the only one that made me feel like family and not just a "business transaction". I only purchase Mitsubishi cars and I now know where I will be going for my car services and future sales. I can't thank y'all enough for making me car buying experience a hella positive one!

    They do good work and my runner issue was covered under warranty. When i am in Massachusetts i am sticking with Bertera

    How about a 5 star car buying experience, ever happen to you it did to me?!!! From beginning to end…read moreit was one of the most pleasurable car buying events I have had! I placed the order in mid December; my particular car configuration had to be ordered directly from the factory; Subaru was back logged until March of this year. I was in no hurry so the long wait period wasn't an issue. Joe Bucko, my salesmen, throughout the entire process was exceptional: following up, taking care of details and was never pushy at any time about up-selling etc. I was given a more than satisfactory price for my trade-in and my new car was discounted below what I was expecting. When the new car arrived, I sat down with Tom, one of the finance guys and in less than 10 to 15 mins. all the paperwork was complete and I was out the door. One of the new features Subaru is offering is a maintenance contract for the first 6 oil changes , It incls oil changes every 6,000 miles, inspections, maintenance and parts and a free set of OEM tires when needed. The maintenance contract for my vehicle was $970.00 which can be rolled over into the purchase price of the new car; there is no sales tax on the prepaid service plan. The one caveat is all service must be done on time by any Suburu dealer in the country; any out of network service voids the plan. I could not be happier with my new car and that was in large part due to the overall exceptional treatment and car buying experience I received at Bertera Subaru of West Springfield!!!

So yes, a way more fun dealer. If we buy a Subaru, it will be from here.

    I contacted the service manager, Amanda Roy, about what happened. She acknowledged that things went…read morewrong and the situation was mishandled, apologized and then said that they would make me a new appointment, not charge me anything and top off my gas. I came back today for the appointment #1. The actual tech did look over the car ( as far as I know - you don't actually see him to do it) and also came out to talk to me about my concerns saying the burning odor and now a high pitched squeal I hear is normal for a hybrid (it's not the whirring sound but something else to do with the battery). They replaced my wipers which were smearing the windshield. (That was probably the only good thing that came out of this visit.) Then I drove away, only to realize that they did NOT top off my gas! I came back and the "Advisor" didn't immediately apologize (he did finally say "sorry" later). Then a very young woman (who looked to only to be about 18 or younger) was the one to bring my car to a gas pump which took a ridiculously long time - at least 45 minutes. When she returned the car STANK of gas. I heard her say "the pump was broken". I didn't want to believe that it really was my brand new car that was stinking of gas and not another car so I just looked at her and she assured me that everything was fine. I then asked the "Advisor" what I would need to do to get the promised free car washes. His answer was "That's not my department. You'd have to ask the person you bought it from in the dealership." I said, "I don't want to run around and find the guy I bought the car from at the dealership. You work here, right? Can you make a phone call?" The young woman then spoke to the person I bought the car from and came back to tell me that I can just go through - they would know by my plate that my car wash would be free. Right after this, I went through the car wash twice. When I came home and got out of my car, it still STANK and it was clearly MY CAR. So obviously the young woman had either NEVER pumped gas before or something happened with the pump. She should have just told me directly exactly what happened and that gas got all over the outside of the car. I am PISSED.

I wanted to get most of the negotiations done by having the dealers compete for my business through email because I was in California helping my friend negotiate the price of a 2011 Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD with Navigation. She wanted white exterior and most dealerships did not have this color in stock. I found that kbb.com, edmunds.com, truecar.com, and finally costco.com were all very helpful in getting the best pricing. Balise didn't initially give me the best pricing, but slowly I worked on them and they finally gave me the best price. I initially got more responses and better pricing BEFORE the huge Tsunami hit Japan, but even with inventory levels down, I got a great price, but it took longer to achieve. Two dealers even said they couldn't beat the price I got!!! Balise didn't have the Pilot that we wanted, so we had to put a $500 deposit down and they found the car and brought it to their dealership within five days (not business days). I asked for the issues to be addressed that I had reported and then they said it would be another diagnostic fee. How is it my fault that the issues weren't handled the first time. Then I filed a complaint in which they decided to look at the other issue without charging the diagnostic fee I said I would think about it. During that conversation the operations director stated if it's not covered under warranty we will charge you and I will be more than happy to take your money....seriously?!?!?! I few days later he called back and said I will refund you the diagnostic fee but you can't bring your vehicle back to any of our dealerships when I asked why he said I don't have to give you a reason. Now granted I didn't buy the car there but you have squashed any future business from myself and any of my family and we have 5 people in our family that drive. Nice you reap what you sow. Best of luck with the consumer advocacy agencies....

    Communication across the team is AWFUL. I brought my Jeep in due to a Warranty issue and each time…read moresense it's gone down hill. No one seems to know what's going on. I myself have been in Sales for almost 10 years and if this was my team I would have words to say, because quite frankly it's unnaceptable. The service team worked on my Jeep for the day-I picked it up and all my personal belongings were thrown around-when I left my Jeep I thought just maybe I could trust that all my personal belongings under my blanket would be in safe keepings-I understand if things need to be moved slightly but to leave my Jeep the way it was left, absolutely ridiculous. Again was going to let it slide and not make a big deal because mistakes happen. Now for the cherry on top: I took my Jeep through a car wash a few days after my Jeep was in the shop and come to find our there was water leaking through the liftgate...that's never happened before. The liftgate is what the service department worked on; The team also left dirt all over my Jeep, never bothered to wipe anything down. It's pathetic if you ask me. I am always willing to leave positive reviews and truthfully, being in customer service and sales for so long, I am pretty lenient and understanding when it comes to most things. At this point I'm completely fed up with this Dealership. I have never liked working with Dealerships to begin with, the customer service is simply put a 1/10. Go Elsewhere. Do Not Reccomend.
