I went here thinking they were a healthier smoothie shop using just fruit and no added sugar. Wrong! While their menu doesn't say it, they use sorbet. For example, any smoothie that has "pineapple" has pineapple sorbet, not fresh pineapple. They need to update their online menu, it is misleading. I ended up still getting a smoothie, but it was just too sugary sweet for this health nut! As an added bonus, the girl that slid my smoothie across the counter didn't even look at me as she spoke. Having just finished a great working and trying to fight the evils of macarons and ice cream I was about to come across in the mall, I stopped into Berry Blendz for something healthy. They have quite a few things on the menu: smoothies, açaí bowls, juice. I don't love that there is no nutritional info on the menu, but the super helpful girl behind the counter obliged me and pulled out a large binder under the counter that apparently houses this important info. Super nice of her, and I went ahead and decided on one of the juices. Fresh squeezed/fed through the juicer right in front of me with nothing else added (except for ice if you prefer). I went with the Lean & Green - kale, celery, apple, lemon, cucumber, and ginger. I asked for a little bit of ice blended with the juice (poured over is your other option). Just a teensy bit worried that the would be way too vegetably or worse, sour. Surprisingly, this was so good and so refreshing. I'm contemplating going back today for another! read more

This Berry Blendz is fairly new since it recently replaced Squeeze. It's located inside the Park Meadows Mall food court, on the right of the food court entrance. They create smoothies, juices, and acaí bowls that you can customize with fruits and supplements. I've walked by a few times before, debating about trying their acaí bowl. For $6.75, or $7 with tax, I wasn't sure if it was worth the price. This morning, I took the leap and bought one. It was topped with granola, coconut flakes, blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. My kids and I devoured the 24 ounces of fruitiness. The only con were the strawberries were frozen, not sure about the blueberries since my boys left me none. Haha. The person at the cash register was very sweet, informative, and helpful. I only wish I learnt her name, she deserves recognition. Oh well, I hope I'll see her again. Acai bowl was mediocre at best. They messed up my order and gave me one with yogurt instead of the dairy free option I ordered. I am SEVERELY lactose intolerant and have been hospitalized for it before. I just had to vomit what I could to avoid another ER trip.. Absolutely one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever received. I manage a smoothie shop in another state so I'm familiar with how customer service, specifically in smoothies and açaí bowls works. I was in town visiting, decided to stop and get a smoothie and ended up greeting the two girls working, rather than the other way around. Fine, however the girl rolled her eyes when I ordered and seemed upset I left her a $2 tip for a $6 smoothie when she was already incredibly rude and rolled her eyes. The smoothie was made with no gloves and was chunky, not sure what was going on there. While they made the smoothie, they complained about customers wanting to order or asking them questions and one girl in particular with heavy eyeliner was using incredibly vulgar language in front of customers and children. 0/10 for the horrible customer service here. read more

This is the worst business I've ever seen. All the workers here are the most undetermined kids with a lack of mannerisms and respect or quality in the product they produce. As far as it seems, there is a huge absence in management and these kids do as they please with no regard for their customers. My name is Richard Clivakson and I run a business that takes a look into the newly developed businesses across the United States. For the past couple months I've been looking into the suburbs of Denver Colorado and found myself in the municipal community of Parker, Lone Tree, and Highlands Ranch. I found most of my time for my operations dealt at the Park Meadows Mall location as it serves as a center point across the three neighborhoods. The mall is currently a booming metropolis during the holiday season but leading up to that it has been quite normal. Most businesses I've looked into have their pros and cons. The two worst businesses here are Dairy Queen and Berry Blendz but I'm only hear to talk about one of these. Berry Blendz is a chain of restaurants found across the southern side of Denver but this location in particular compared to the others is a joke of a business. The workers are lazy, irresponsible and do not serve to appease anyone but themselves. I've ordered from this establishment a number of times and every time there has been something wrong with my drink and there is no motivation for them to fix it. I don't want this review to be a direct opinion of what I think so like every other business I've investigated I've got the opinion of the customer, a neighboring worker and former employee of the establishment. The customer I met (who shall remain nameless) once ordered a selective number of drinks for a party close to closing time. The man said he was given extreme attitude, poor quality in product, and absolutely no interest from the workers. He said that after they finished a smoothie they took it into the back room to where it could not be seen and then walked back out with it. Keep in mind this customer has been shopping here before and has never once seen this kind of procedure with the smoothies. He then went on to tell me that when he drank the smoothie it was thicker then usual with no taste. He began to investigate the drink and found horrifying contents within it. He a multitude of hair and even saliva soaked in to the drink and resting on top. The man is currently in talks with the business owner about the incident. The neighboring employee from over at Dairy Queen says that as bad as they look out on the floor, they look even worse in the back. She said that the berry blendz workers have no regard or respect for the other businesses and do what they want with reckless abandonment. They vape and smoke weed on the job, kiss in the storage room no matter how busy the mall is, and she even once saw two workers from the businesses, a short blonde girl and a tall guy with glasses using the cart in which they transport the ingredients for their products as a scooter device racing it down the back hall. She said that they are highly impolite and need a good management system to keep them in line, without that, they do what they want. The former employee who once again will remain nameless worked at the business before quitting. They said that their fellow employees were not good workers, had a lack of motivation to do anything, always made the new people do things they didn't want to do and never took responsibility for their actions or mistakes. The employee said the place is not what it appears. There are roaches in the fridges, there are fruit fly nests in the bananas, some of the tools haven't been cleaned in months and the blenders used to make all the smoothies are never actually cleaned before reuse; they are simply thrown in a sink of soap for 10 seconds, a sink of sanitizer for 10 seconds, and then done and ready to be reused. The employee says that a solution to fix the problem could be the use of more management. The employee said that their fellow employees often took money from the register for themselves out of ego and no supervisor there to punish them. They said that the manager never comes in because she is too focused on her other business locations and because of this lack of a superior, there is no real work being done here. To conclude, to anyone reading this review, I think you should put it to your best interest to not shop here at this establishment as it is a serious health code violation and their is a huge lack of work or management being done here to where who knows what might end up in your smoothie. read more

Hubby and I wanted a juice to give us some natural energy. We came across this place and immediately headed their way. I ordered a crazy carrot juice with an immunity add on. A 16oz juice was $7.50 and the add on was free. This consisted of 5 very large carrots, a piece of beet, 2 apples, & a pice of lemon. It was delicious!! Hubby ordered the green lemonade. Lexie and Colby were very helpful and professional. Whereas Michelle was extremely rude to us when we asked why we were waiting over twenty minutes for two smoothies and others that came after us received theirs and left. The smoothies are awesome however I do not suggest you purchase a large 32 oz one. It cost me almost 10 dollars for a large one and when the employee handed it to me it was 1/3 empty. When I had said something to the employee he told me that it is company policy they do not fill it to the top. I feel that if I am purchasing a 10 dollar drink it should at least be full. I was not offered for my drink to be topped off or anything and was basically told to deal with it. I've been going here all summer getting Açaí bowls. It's usually been hit or miss but most of. The time good. Tonight I ordered the Warrior bowl like always. When I got the bowl it was only half full. I asked the girl why it was half full and she claimed that is the size. I told her I've ordered them all summer and they've never been half full before. I ask to speak to manager and an lady who said she was the owner /manager. I explain to her how this is the smallest açaí bowl I have ever gotten there half out it was missing. She proceed to tell me that it should only be 12 ounces and that's the size. do I want her to make me another one? I said no I don't want another one. She really acted like I was trying to get something for nothing! I just wanted what I paid for and have been paying for all summer! I visited both the one in park meadows and the one in southwest plaza mall. The Park Meadows mall was amazing service and great. The one in Southwest Plaza did horribly. I watched as they made my juice and one employee not wearing gloves touched my fruits and vegetables while making my juice. Two girls were sitting flirting with boys from the mall.
