Actually thinking about it this whole store is trying to rip you off. I buy "mystery packs" from them and they put on "good card" on top and the rest are duplicates or garbage. I had a strange experience at the Hot Corner. An older guy and 2 younger guys were working and one…read moreof them was pretty responsive to questions about selling cards and buying specific cards. The younger guy asked the older guy about where to find these cards. He told the younger guy, then nothing happened. I stood around for 15 minutes and left when it was clear none of them were interested in my business. They have a ton of very cool autographed bats, balls and other memorabilia that seem to be priced really fairly. This would probably be my first stop if I was looking for a specific players autograph. There aren't a lot of card shops to consider these days, but I will not likely revisit these guys. It seems the bust in card value has hurt the morale as much as the actual business. Coming here felt like a giant waste of time, despite trying to go local instead of online.

I decided to take a new turn however when finally target team female representative came instead of paying attention to me she started taking care of another customer who came right after I took a new turn on a new line. I expressed my disappointment and called target phone number, feeling that it was too much, I had nothing to do with customers, It was about that there was only one target team representative there as a cashier... Female team member called another team member whose name was Mr Nelson.Mr Nelson instead of looking into my order accused me saying that I pointed at the customer which was "disrespectful", instead of acknowledging that I pointed at the customer showing that this young customer came after me and while I was ahead of him he was served first , I didn't know his name. Instead Mr Nelson, target team member told me that I should wait 2 hours after I placed order online, he didn't look at my order to see that it was already over 2 hours since order was placed online. instead immediately chose to reject me, accusing me in disrespecting somebody else who went ahead of me. I felt extremely disrespected because It was my turn. He ping ponged me to Mr Jeffrey who found out that my order was not ready because items were out of stock and he offered me to buy alternative( 6 bottles in a pack , price of which was more than 12 bottles on my order which cost me more , I bought 2 ) , but I needed, so I bought. Very frustrated and disappointed.

The one slim cashier who wears glasses and Hispanic boy with stink breath annoys me. They never want to do pick up properly. There was no one at pick up and I had to scream for someone to help me after waiting for 15 minutes while the cashiers looked at me. In fact I did pick up 2 days ago and the little girl had the nerve to tell me to come over to her so she can scan my bar code and then proceeds to throw my groceries in my cart including throwing my eggs! Little girl you're lucky my patience is top tier. Corporate will hear about this! I've had enough of letting all these passive aggressive behaviors slide! I will not tolerate being treated like a random customer and not a valued one of over 5 years of shopping here. Do your job or leave if you don't like it!

Got me set up with a nice black suit, as well as a 2nd blue suit,(2 for 1 sale), a black tie, and suspenders,(yes, I'm that old). David was very helpful, friendly and patient with me. Suits are high quality, and all tailoring was done and ready for pickup in 1 day. Are they a little expensive, yes, but the alternative is shopping at a mall with hundreds more people, not too knowledgable sales staff, and questionable quality and tailoring. It's 4:30 on Saturday when Keith gets a call from his buddy Vinnie at Bennet's Bicycle's on Staten Island asking if he has the non-standard axle I needed. At 6:30, Keith pulled up to Wagner College in Staten Island and delivered it to me in person. Unbelievable customer service and kindness. What I failed to mention to Keith is that I frequented Roy's Bikes while I was growing up in Brooklyn- many years ago!! Thanks Keith!!!

The entire team is incredibly knowledgeable about the products they sell and passionate about their work. They maintain the classic family ski shop vibe found in New England ski towns, but with a uniquely Brooklyn personality. I had the pleasure of working with Duke. I brought in a pair of boots for retrofitting that were a full size too small. We had a straightforward conversation about the necessary augmentations for the boots and discussed the cost-to-success ratio. After two days of work, despite the odds not being in my favor, Duke managed to make enough room in my boot for a perfect fit (albeit a little snug, but that's to be expected). During those two days, it became clear to me that for the team at Panda Sports, this kind of work is a craft. This is a refreshing change from typical employees who are just working a job to sell you a product they aren't confident in. For as long as I stay in the city, wherever in the city that may be, when I need ski equipment, I will make that trek again. (My suggestion to any new patrons coming in, be honest with yourself and with them about your abilities and your knowledge. If you put your trust in them they will be very helpful)
