BJ's advocated for me and was able to talk AAA into covering the tow. One of the drivers, Nick, was able to get my vehicle with no problems and the whole team was super awesome throughout. I was nervous and wasn't sure if my car needed a tow, but it definitely needed some duct tape and zip ties to hold my bumper together as I could hear rattling noises. Guy, the lovely gentleman that helped me, was very friendly and knowledgeable...he was also a mechanic, which made it even better as I wasn't sure what was wrong with my car at that exact moment. He was calm and acknowledged that I could get going without having to tow to the nearest mechanic shop. He didn't try to rip me off by having me towed when it wasn't necessary, since a tow is by the mileage plus the $75 fee. I had called all the local mechanic shops in Blaine and everyone was full, they couldn't even take me in....I felt stranded. He said I was definitely on their books. He called back to say that Chris had forgotten. He said he could be at my place by 3:00. When he arrived around 3:20, there was no apology whatsoever. In fact, he said he couldn't tow me with my 3.5 ft porch cover. I told him we'd already scouted the route. He was surly and I was devastated and then angrier than I can remember being in a very long time. He told me to "take a pill." I told him at least I had a brain; he made some other retort, but I had already gotten into my tiny. I called ASAP towing and they moved my tiny the following Wednesday and said since the overhang didn't extend past 12 ft (my tiny is 8.5 feet wide), it was completely legal to tow my tiny home with the porch awning on. I had lined up numerous people to help me get set up at my new location on April 28th and Chris ended up costing me a LOT of money because those people were not available on May 1st. I will never, ever do business with this company again and I suggest you don't either.

Tonight I witnessed a Sunrise Salvage flatbed truck merging on the freeway. There was an RV in the…read moreright lane, who was prevented from moving over by another car in the left lane. The Sunrise driver absolutely REFUSED to yield in order to merge, eventually forcing all 3 cars to be driving side-by-side down a 2-lane freeway. It was insane. THEN - the Sunrise Salvage flatbed, obviously pissed that the RV had the audacity to not slam on the brakes in order to let him have his way, zoomed over, passed the RV and cut back over in the most aggressive manner I've ever witnessed. The RV had to swerve in order to avoid being hit and and damn near drove off the freeway. So I called the company to report unsafe driving. I got "Steve." When I started to tell him my story he demanded to know what vehicle I was in. I told him I was in a white minivan. He then proceeded to tell me that he was IN the vehicle with the driver and started to list all the ways that the RV driver was "wrong." (Note, merging cars do not have right-of-way.) So I asked Steve, "So are you telling me that when your driver swerved over to cut off the RV that was safe driving?" He replied, "Well, that was a little bit of payback." I informed him I would be calling the police and he hung up on me. I prefer that local companies not play "payback" on I-5 with a large flatbed truck and a 40-foot RV. At 70 miles an hour. He is lucky no one was hurt or killed. I will NEVER do business with this company, and I suggest others in Whatcom County follow my lead.
