They charged me $160 in total, and had a variety of reasons why... it was a highway pickup (more dangerous), it was at night (more dangerous), they needed to send a flatbed truck (for a 2 door Honda Civic), we were on the Delta side of the Massey tunnel (something to share with us beforehand?). Anyways, everyone was friendly about it everything, yet I called another company for a quote when I got home and I could have saved $60 easily by calling a different company. Make sure you ask for a quote before they pick your car up so this doesn't happen to you too. Mike is such a genuine honest guy, and has once again helped me out in a pinch. I had to move out of my apartment in mid December and had to get my car out of the building by January 1st. Having a lowered and kitted car in an underground parkade with a slanted exit would probably be enough for other towing companies to pass on the job. Sterling Towing happily showed up and helped me get my car onto the flatbed while navigating an awkward angle and a gate that kept trying to close on the car. Mike and his awesome driver Joe were extremely thorough and made absolutely sure nothing was scratched or damaged. It's also worth noting that since the car was somewhat able to drive Mike even tried to talk me out of getting it towed. However due to repairs needed and not having insurance on the car we agreed to tow it and took it to his dad's shop (KMF Auto, which I also recommend). When unloading the car Mike was on his hands and knees carefully placing 2x4's and inspecting the car every inch of the way down. I'm always blown away by the level of service Sterling Towing provides. When Mike says he cares about your car, he is not bluffing.
