Dr Shakeri is amazing!! I had the worst case of sciatica possible. Needed steroid shots to get minor relief. I injured my back doing squats; had 3 bulges. At my first appointment Dr Korosh said he could get me back to 100%; but it would take some weeks. He said I did not get in this situation over night. He also said he could get me out of pain in 4 weeks and he did!! I started feeling relief after the first week and totally pain free by week 4. When I started with him I could not sit or lay so I was sleep deprived as well as taking so many meds. I am now able to start working out again and do not need any meds at all. He also fixed my neck and hip. They were bothering me for years and I just thought that was how it was. If you want to get your spine in proper alignment for optimal mobility Korosh is the person you need to see!! read more

Dr.Shakeri is the best! I've been to many chiropractors before and he is the only one who pointed out my biggest concern as soon as I sat down. I went in suffering pains from working out and he really made me feel so much better! He's really kind and welcoming too! I would 100% recommend him to anyone who's experiencing discomfort in their bodies. read more

I was recently referred to BC I had really hurt my knee. To the point that initially standing up had become extremely difficult, let alone walk on it. I just thought, I'll just get another cortisone shot and that would be it. Then someone told me about Dr. Shakeri. DON'T GET CORTISONE! So I goggled him and 3 or 4 visits later, my knee is so much better. Mind you, I wasn't able to complete the entire recommended number of visits. What Dr. Shakeri did really did the job. I definitely recommend Berkeley Chiropractic with 5 outstanding stars. I will be seeking future treatment should it be necessary. Thank you Dr. Shakeri and your staff read more

I have a ton of chronic back pain and have seen multiple chiropractors. Dr S was super gentle, kind, and made me feel 10x better in a short session. Even went above and beyond to teach me what PT exercises to do to strengthen my core. Also, he's chiropractor to the Warriors, how cool is that? read more

What can I say .... Dr. Shakeri is awesome! Just visiting from Kansas and hurt myself. Came to Berkeley Chiropractic in a sling and in acute pain and walked out without it on and feeling a million times better! I highly recommend him to anyone. Great personality and really knows his stuff. So thankful I ran into him read more

I'm a UC Berkeley student with chronic neck pain and I can't recommend Dr. Shakeri enough. He's changed my life -- seriously. He is kind, understanding, considerate, and has gone above and beyond to help reduce and manage my pain. I've seen him regularly for 1.5 years and in that time I went from about four or five migraines a week to only one every two weeks. Also his office is close to the Safeway on Shattuck and isn't too far from the UC Berkeley campus. Most importantly for students like me, he takes SHIP insurance with a referral from the Tang Center! 5 stars :) read more

Best Chiropractor I ever had! Highly recommend! First time I met doctor, he promised me help with headaches ( I was thinking : usual bs, I heard many times) But after 3 months, I realized I'm no longer freaking out, if I left my painkillers at home :) He is patient and kind and truly knows what he is doing. I love visit his office, the atmosphere makes me calm I had my problems for 20 years and have chiropractors in NYC, China, Canada and Boston. This is first time I managed to see results read more

Dr. Shakeri is the best. I'm not alone in that opinion. Professional athletes, and people from all walks of life benefit from his services. I highly recommend him. read more

Had my first appointment yesterday with Dr. Shakeri. I was in a lot of pain and could barely walk but within 2 min of arriving he had pinpointed what my real problem was and promised this is totally fixable in 1-2months. It's an issue I've lived with for approx. 15 years but the first time I've had a diagnosis. But to my surprise, today already I woke up with no pain for the first time in a month! And my husband says my walk is much more relaxed and improved. I can not wait to see how much I'll improve in 2 months if this is the trajectory :) Dr. Shakeri truly is an expert chiropractor! read more

I know that there are plenty of chiropractor naysayers out there (in fact... I was one of them) But since visiting Dr. Shakeri, my attitude has changed! I had intense shoulder pain that was really starting to get the best of me. Mentally I just thought that I was just getting old and the pain was "par for the course." Little did I know that after going to Dr. Shakeri for a little over 3 months, my shoulder pain would be practically gone! I cannot recommend him enough! read more

Dr Shakeri is such a great chiropractor. He gives great adjustments and has put me back together more times than I can count. He efficient, intuitive, and caring. I have highly recommended him to my friends for years. He's the kind of chiropractor that other chiropractors and body workers go to, he's just that good. read more

Great chiropractor! Very personable yet professional and patient. I've had scoliosis since childhood so my hips, lower back and neck are not alligned. Dr. Shakeri is the only one who can align them back, including the neck - the neck is tricky because your muscles try to tighten instead of relaxing when the chiropractor tries to align them - and he can do it, it's quick, painless and confident. Definitely going back for more! read more

At the risk of sounding like someone who visited an old timey revivalist tent, where the evangelistic preacher did a "laying on the hands healing", I must say Dr. Korosh Shakeri is a miracle worker! I could barely walk into his offices on Adeline, looking like a hermit crab, hobbling and unable to stand straight. I was in terrible shape. A fall had left me with an aching neck, shoulder, arm and a stiff and painful lower back, yet a fully packed schedule left me with taking tons of anti-inflammatory, over the counter meds. I was getting worse and worse from walking in a compromised fashion, from this injury. In short: I was a mess. Within moments of seeing the doctor, I received a treatment that basically eliminated my upper body pain. The lower back has taken longer to treat, but the sciatica shooting pains have begun to subside. This very physical kind of medicine has truly proven to be exactly what I needed and I highly recommend this Clinic to anyone in as much discomfort as I. Save yourself the agony of letting the pain, "run it's course". My only regret is that I didn't visit Dr. Shakeri immediately. I am so glad I finally sought the help that has brought back my mobility. I am going to make this a regular part of my health routine. Making certain my spine stays in alignment. Very affordable and a very comfortable place to be treated! read more

My experience with Dr. Shakeri has been extremely positive. I came to him after I was told by another chiropractor that I was pre-arthritic. Being 28 years old, this shocked and devastated me. I needed a second opinion and he studied the X-rays that were taken by my old chiropractor and told me that he didn't see any signs of arthritis. My hip pain stemmed from having a shorter leg than the other and from my left ball/socket position. I now get adjusted by him at least twice a week, and I pay less than half of what my former chiropractor charged me. Dr. Shakeri is an honest chiropractor, not too mention humble and down to earth. My former boss referred me to him as he had been adjusting her and her family for years, including her daughter ever since she was 3 years old. I truly feel that Dr. Shakeri is committed to his journey of helping people understand and heal their bodies with his gift and knowledge of the human body. If you're looking for healing and a positive journey based on work and fairness, Dr. Shakeri is the person to go to. Happy healing! read more

I took the reference for Dr. Shakeri from a friend with back trouble. I had severe shoulder pain in my right shoulder. Even after the first visit most of the pain was relieved. I have since went back for check-ins an readjustments to keep up progress. I can't say that I am completely healed yet, but that is my own fault for not completely following his advice. The price is reasonable. Also, Dr. Shakeri is extremely flexible with scheduling, which is great for a person that travels so much! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Shakeri for over 5 years. There is no way I could continue to play golf without his amazing ability to read my pain and make things right within a few minutes. He is always willing to make space for me and see me when I need help. He is truly gifted. Every time I leave the office, it's like I've been restored. It's hard to believe that I went so many years suffering so much neck, back, shoulder and hip pain before I was fortunate enough to find him. Thanks, Korosh! Geri S. read more

Very friendly staff and very flexible to accommodate your schedule. I had some back pain that would prevent me from having good night rests. I was did a hardcore tricep workout over a week ago. My tri's normally are sore for a day or two ....but this time it was over a week. My mobility and range of motion was very limited. I dropped into Dr Shakeri today and told him what happened. He adjusted some " spindles " akin to rubber bands in my arm. As I was leaving the office I lifted my elbow above my head to test and OMG it went straight up. For past wk I could get past 45 degrees! Thank you so much Dr!! read more

I've thrown my back out twice this year. Once before I left Santa Barbara, and then just a few months after I moved to the Bay. So I had to find a new chiro, and so came Yelp to the rescue. By the time I walked into Dr. Shakeri's office I was a crooked mess, in ridiculous pain. I had plans that weekend to go to Hardly Strictly pretty much all weekend. As it turned out, I just barely had the ability to get to the clinic and sit in writhing pain. At first I was unimpressed with Dr. Shakeri because I was in so much pain and he spent maybe 5 minutes adjusting me and telling me that I had a dehydrated disc. But I scheduled a follow up appointment for Monday (I came in on a Friday), and went home to lay on the floor for the entire weekend (god bless netflix instant play!). Through the weekend I was in pain almost the entire time, with the ability to sit in a chair for maybe 30 minutes at most. I went to Monday's appointment with some skepticism, and came home feeling a little better, but still a little flustered by spending only 5 minutes with the doctor for $44. By Monday night however, I was standing up straight and in significantly less pain. I felt great considering how I spent my weekend. I've been seeing Dr. S for about 3 months now and have improved greatly, with little to no back pain. I go once a week and have been able to jump head first back into a fairly physical routine of dance, turbo kick, biking, etc. Thanks Dr. Shakeri for healing my back! read more

I've been seeing Dr. Shakeri for a few years and he is the best chiropractor I've ever seen. My history includes 3 severe car accidents that resulted in multiple neck and back injuries, severe TMJ and now, and as I've aged, hip pain. He works magic any time I have a flare up and really gets to the roots of each unique pain. I've also recommended him to several friends, all of whom raves about the care they got. I can't recommend him more highly! read more

He knows what he is doing. Wants to get you fixed and done. And onward (as Herb Caen used to say) .... If it takes a few trips - let him make it stick - He doesn't waist your time or his. Nicest people too. afforable, ..say. $$ read more

This is my go to facility for adjustments. I am a full time massage therapist and a very active aerial dancer. So my muscles get a lot of over use. This place is great for maintenance and recently I have had a nerve impingement that has caused tingling down my arm to my pointer finger. I came in today and with one adjustment my tingling was gone. Korosh is also great at warming up and softening the tissue. I never leave feeling "roughed up"! Just try him, you will be hooked! read more

Overall, I think the chiropractic field is mainly bullshit. Face it, none of it is grounded in actual hard science with physical evidence. What i can say, is that the massage therapy and rehabilitation techniques employed here have done wonders for me. Learning just where to isolate and stretch the damaged muscles in my neck, right elbow, and right wrist multiple times a day changed my life. Dr. Shakeri and his staff are good, genuine people and were very accommodating. read more

I had an appointment with Dr. Shakeri today, he is an excellent doctor not only has he explained me clearly why I was having the pain, he also started the treatment so well that I feel comfortable and relaxed right after my first appointment itself. Would highly recommend this place!! read more

10/10 would recommend, feel much better after a couple of visits bc Dr. Shakeri is great when it comes to chiropractic treatments ;)

Dr. Shakeri is the best Chriopractor I've been to. He is extremelly honest, sincere, and genuine. I had lower back pains from a basketball injury and I saw Dr.Shakeri twice a week for about 2 months. While I was visting him, I learned that he also serves as the a on-site chiropractor for the Golden State Warriors, so I was in comfortable hands. I highly recommend Dr.Shakeri because he's simply one of the best. read more

I was in a car accident last summer and messed up my foot. Dr Shakeri ADJUSTED MY FOOT and the pain went away! I've been seeing him fairly regularly ever since for neck and back stiffness. Recently I took up piano, and two hours of piano practice every day made my forearms super sore and stiff. He freakin' adjusted my elbows and wrists, and it made my arms and hands feel so much better! I asked him how come he knew all these crazy moves, bc all my previous chiropractors only adjusted my neck and back-apparently he did some special post doctorate study. Seriously, he knows the body and how to free it UP. read more

I can't say enough about Dr. Shakeri. I have gone to chiropractors since I was 15 and threw my back out in baseball. He is the best I have had the pleasure to be treated by. Knowledgeable and kind, and I never feel he is rushing through our session to move on to the next patient. Thank you Dr. Shakeri. read more

As someone who has had back problems for the past 10 years or so, and after having gone to 6-7 chiropractors in that span, I can highly recommend Dr. Shakeri and the Berkeley Chiropractic Clinic. In the past, I had two chiropractors run all sorts of tests on me to find out exactly what's wrong with my back. One ran a series of X-Rays and measured every bone up and down my back. Another ran a whole series of tests, measuring angles and heights and calculations. After a week or so of studying and after paying fees for the exam, they both came to the same conclusion that Dr. Shakeri came to after feeling around for about 5 minutes. He definitely knows what he's doing, and its a friendly environment. read more

I got a groupon deal here for the massage and Heather was great. She identified the areas where I had a lot of stress and tension and got rid of the knots. Dr Shakeri has magic in his hands. I have been his patient for the past 4 years and own a printing business where i have to pick up boxes causing severe back pain down my lower back. Dr. Korosh Shakeri is amazingly intuitive and skillful. He is able to find the problem, resolve it, and explain it to me, with instructions for my own self care. I had a neck pain that lasted over a year with another chiropractor and was almost immediately resolved by Dr. Shakeri. I have now been a client for over 3 years doing weekly to biweekly visits to stay in good shape and receive adjustments that keep me in the game! read more

Dr Shakeri is awesome...He listens and understands. He explains each step he takes to get pain free. He is a 5 star Dr.

After tossing a medicine ball sized chunk of concrete, my shoulder began to hurt a bit. I thought at that time that this might be a rotator issue and so favored the shoulder while maintaining a range of movement; as I'd done before. Five weeks later I was in level nine pain and a friend insisted I go to Dr. Shakeri. Within minutes he spotted this as a VERY serious spinal injury. Dr. Shakeri's diagnosis was accurate, the hospital ER made the same and gave me a powerful pain medication but it was Dr. Shakeri's treatment that reset my spine, which surely would have resulted in a lifetime of suffering (as I've seen many friends live with), in a matter of a few weeks. I am DEEPLY GRATEFUL for his kindness and expertise. read more

Dr. Shakeri is amazing! He's strong enough for me and gentle enough for my wife. He is very good at explaining everything that is going on with your body and how he is going to fix it in a way that you can understand. His care goes beyond the doctors office offering all types of physical therapy and exercise for you to do at home. He constanly works with you on improving your posture, work environment, sleeping positions, work out routines and diet. My wife was very apprehensive about visiting doctors of any kind. She has been a hair dresser for 20 years and suffers from RSI and a lot of kneck pain. Finally, she couldn't take the pain anymore and decided to give Dr. Shakeri a try. He was very gentle with her and after one visit made a believer out of her. I didn't think it could be done. She has seen him 4 times now and says she feels better after every visit. I, on the other hand needed someone with a little more brute strength. My previous chiropractor just did not have enough strength to make any difference. My massage therapist recommended Dr. Shakeri to me. She said he had worked on some players for the Oakland Raiders so he should be able to handle me. She was right. I noticed a difference right away and the back and neck pain that I've had for many many years has faded away. I would recommend Dr. Shakeri to anyone. He is a very personable and professional doctor. If he can make a believer out of my wife, I think he can make one out of anyone. read more

After putting up with on/off pain that comes with middle age I decided it was time to get ahead of the next muscle spasm. Both my wife and mother have been seeing dr Shakeri for years and recommended him. I had my first visit last week, thanks to dr Shakeri I can now pick up my 2 yr old son with confidence. I strongly recommend dr Shakeri. Let me just add that New Year's Eve my wife had sciatica pain. She called not expecting anything other than advice on pain management over the phone. Dr Shakeri not only answered the phone on New Years, but said he would meet st the office that afternoon. I could not believe his commitment to his patients. Truly thankful read more
