I started to see Dr. Joshua over a year ago for a frozen shoulder. He helped me tremendously, every week he would manipulate and ease movement back into my shoulder. I continue to see him on a weekly basis despite my fully recovered shoulder issue. We now work on maintaining full range in my neck, shoulders, hips and even ankles. He is very friendly and knowledgeable--he often suggests exercises or tools for me to incorporate into my daily practices. And his office manager is a gem--easy to communicate with and accommodating with schedule adjustments. read more

This is long overdue as I began seeing Dr. Josh during my third trimester of pregnancy. Not only did he relieve pressure and bring relief to my achey body, but he was minimally invasive meaning he did not do more than what was necessary. I've been to other chiropractors who get "crack" happy and just go overboard with adjustments. Not Dr. Josh, he was even mindful of avoiding certain approaches to ensure he did not induce labor. Fast forward to roughly four months postpartum... I brought my daughter here (yes she's just shy of four months) and I was completely comfortable with Dr. Josh treating her because he recommended I bring her after I give birth. He made me realize how traumatizing the birth process can be for baby. Since I have had such positive experiences from Dr. Josh's adjustments, I knew my daughter would be just as satisfied. It was a sweet moment how Dr. Josh let me be involved with my daughters adjustment by having me lie on my back and she laid on her tummy then we had her lie on her back. She felt relief and was relaxed and calm the rest of the day. Dr. Josh even offered foresight about future treatments through him should she experience colic, indigestion, or even ear infections. I'm grateful to have found him through a recommendation of one of my uncles who is also seeing him. The online appointment scheduling is beyond helpful and you can even schedule multiple appointments at once. He goes above and beyond with his craft. Thank you Dr. Josh for being so awesome, knowledgable, and meticulous! read more

I'll echo the chorus of positive reviews here. As a late 30s-something person who has danced for over 25 years, I was growing pretty frustrated with ongoing pain from a back and hip injury. I had never gone to a chiropractor and was anxious that I would somehow get more seriously injured. Although I'm not quite dancing at the level I used to, my overall pain has lessened significantly and I'm a lot more active than before visiting Dr. Josh. I'm so thankful his practice exists. read more

If you are looking for a chiropractor, research no further because Doctor Pollack is the doctor to go to if you are feeling body and muscle pain and need an adjustment. My husband and I both see Doctor Josh and love our visits. He does a complete examination of your body and can tell where you are uneven and need adjusting instantly. He's also very clear on why and when he's going to adjust you so it's bo surprise. I tell myself that seeing Doctor Josh is my "me time" for self care and I always leave feeling happy. Doctor Josh also accepts insurance and will call your insurance before your visit to give you an idea of your plan's co-pay and yearly visits. It's a very seamless process to schedule appointments, as well. Do yourself a favor and give Doctor Pollack a visit- you won't regret it! read more

So glad I forums Dr Pollack. My previous Chiropractor retired and I was concerned about finding another Chiropractor that one took my insurance and then two was in or around the area that I wanted to travel. There were so many others that took my insurance but they were super out of the area. He is super thorough in his exams and treatments in addition to explaining the why's, what's and how's of how things are connected. Above all else his energy is super positive and welcoming environment in his office. Totally recommend Dr Pollack read more

I have been seeing Dr Joshua for over 6 months after a knee and back injury and he was extremely thorough in assessing and treating my issues. He would answer any questions that I had and would always explain what his plan was prior to each session and targeted each muscle and joint while explaining the anatomy and mechanics of the motions and adjustments that he performs. I realized through my sessions with him that I did have lot of other alignment issues. He pointed them out and adjusted them accordingly. He is very hands on, gives clear instructions during treatments and makes sure his patients are comfortable at all times. It is very obvious that he has been doing this for a long time and has a true passion for this profession. This was my first time getting chiropractor treatment and I wish I had tried this early on and with Dr Joshua. I highly recommend him for all your acute or chronic pain issues especially for low and mid back, knee, shoulder and cervical area. Even though my treatment sessions are over and I feel fine, I plan to visit him once in a while just to get assessed. Their website is great to navigate and book appointments, he is flexible and has accommodated me within 2 hours on many occasions. Belinda who manages the front desk is very sweet and communicates so well via text and in person. read more

This is a practitioner who is of the highest level of competence. He combines multiple techniques for adjustments based on what the client needs and has a roller table for post treatment stabilization. He has a great number of tools from cupping to rapid stim devices to makr the right adjustment happen the right way. To top things off, Dr. Pollack has a great sense of humor and you will find yourself chuckling or outright laughing pretty much every visit. read more

Joshua Pollack is a healer. He is also easy to talk to, has positive energy, and a fine sense of humor. He will listen to what ails you and figure out what you need. His adjustments are gentle if you need gentle. In addition to his adjustments, he has suggested simple stretches and work with a foam roller that have helped me When I first came in, I had lower back pain that got worse when I sat at the computer or cooked or even leaned over the sink to brush my teeth. That pain is gone now. I had trouble feeling secure walking, tending to topple toward the left side I can walk with much more confidence now. It seems like a miracle, but it's Joshua and his experienced intelligent body work. read more

Dr. Pollack is the best chiropractor I've been to. I went to Joshua Tree Chiropractic because of severe lower back pain. He accurately assessed all of the areas that I needed adjusted and explained why I was having problems. It impresses me that after each visit I gain more range of motion and feel better. I have had the spinal adjustments and I have had cupping for my shoulders. Both services helped significantly. Additionally, Dr. Pollack is charismatic, he has a bright smile, and a cheerful attitude. He is suited for this career in skill, knowledge, passion, and personality. read more

I'm thrilled to find in Dr. Joshua a practitioner who is fully attuned to his patients, draws from a deep knowledge base, and whose adjustments are effective and potent. While his work brilliantly addressed an acute critical knee issue (described below), I intend to receive regular treatments particularly during the pandemic since integrating chiropractic into ones health regime delivers a huge boost to the immune system. It did during the Spanish Influenza! Specifically, my knee was bothering me for quite a long time. In one session, Dr. Joshua took care of it thoroughly. FOR REAL! As well, he suggested best methods for continued care. While it's been a couple of months since this adjustment, I am in awe that I continue to be without any pain. I've seen other chiropractors, and never got these transformative results. He really is the best. read more

Best chiropractor in the Bay Area.. best I've ever seen. Great human being too!!!!!!!

Just finished my 2nd appointment and if I could give him 10 stars I would. Was told my a chiropractor in Portland that I should start seeing someone regularly to help with my low back issues. Found Joshua Tree thru a Google search, and bonus, is in network for Blue California! And let me tell you, he knows his stuff. From the gadgets to new techniques, to approaching your appointment holistically, I have definitely found my forever chiropractor. Thank you! read more

If I could give 10stars I would. In only 3 visits Dr Josh has helped me regain range of motion in my left shoulder and hip from long standing injuries from being an athlete. He also fully relieved me of radiculopathy and facial numbness after hitting my head from a fainting spell. I convinced my fiancé to come along today in hopes of getting him adjusted and sure enough Dr Josh squeezed him in while taking the time to make him comfortable throughout his entire experience. He walked him through each individual adjustment prior to physically engaging with him and had my partner leaving his office with a different pep in his step. We'll be staying on the books frequently as there is nothing like good support in taking care of your health. read more

Dr. Pollack is great!! I had a great experience being adjusted by Joshua. The pain in my lower back was beginning to become so bothersome, it was actually waking me up at night, and had been going on for months. During my first visit with him, he was very thorough and explained his treatment plan for me after asking me good assessment questions that pointed him in the right direction. In less than 4 visits, I was sleeping comfortably at night again after months of discomfort. He recommended things I could do going forward in terms of my diet, rest, and building up my core and joints. I'd highly recommend him if you're seeking relief, and I'm certainly going to come back when things get out of alignment again. Sleeping well again, Mike read more

Dr. Pollack is PHENOMENAL!!! His yelp reviews really do him justice because they are the truth! Dr. Pollack called me to set up our first appointment and he was nothing but kind, great energy, and supportive! My best visit to date is when my wrist was killing me so much I couldn't use all day. I come in and tell him what's wrong, he describes to me what's happening and fixing my wrist! In 30 minutes I got back use of my wrist and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived! I see him weekly and can't imagine how much pain I would be in without him. He is so very kind, great bedside manner and so knowledgeable and informative! I am so happy to have him on my health and wellness team! Thank you Doc! read more

Recently, i started to have Dr Josh Pollack treat me. I love the various techniques he used to help with my issues. In a few sessions i started to feel 70 to 89% better. When i first started seeing Dr Josh i was in so much pain and cannot believe how much better i feel. With each session he checks in to see if I've followed with his suggestions and he explains the reasoning for particular exercise or procedures to do at home. I really appreciate his explanations for what is going on with my body. I mostly cannot believe i waited so long to seek help and am thrilled to have found this very knowledgeable chiropractor. read more

Today was the third session I had with Dr. Pollack. I went to him because I was tired of having so much pain that it interfered with my daily life. I can honestly say in a short time, 3 sessions I feel 60-70 % better. In fact while walking my dog I expected to have a labored walk but in fact it was the opposite. I will continue with sessions with him because the exercises and advice and discussions are extremely beneficial. He is also very witty and clever, and extremely personable. I love that he uses different types of approaches that resonate with me. I highly recommend Dr. Pollack for adjustments and understanding the causes of pain and it's effect on other parts of the body. read more

I originally went too see Dr. Pollack because I was suffering with daily headaches that I couldn't find the cure to. Still not 100% sure what was causing them, but I'm sure there were several factors at play. However, I do know that after my first 2 adjustments my constant headaches went away. Not only have the neck adjustments and cranial sacral therapy made a huge difference, but the regular hip and back adjustments have also relieved some pain/tension that I was ignoring before. I used to be so afraid of chiropractic practices, and that's why I never went in the past. But Dr. Pollack made me feel comfortable from the start and I now recommend everyone see a chiropractor, and especially Dr. Pollack! read more

I pulled my back in bed and needed to be seen right away. I texted the main number the night before asking to be seen at the earliest convenience. I got a response back first thing in the morning for the first spot. I felt like I mattered and was prioritized. This is a business that wants the best for their clients. Extra perk...they're located down the street from my house. Dr. Joshua is funny, kind and completely listens to me. I will be a client here for many years to come. read more

tl;dr--if you want excellent care and a friendly, enthusiastic expert to get you to recovery, go to Dr. Pollack!  Experienced immediate and lasting relief!  Responsive for scheduling, pandemic-friendly office, great bedside manner. I found Dr. Pollack's practice via Yelp and decided to try his office based on the long list of great reviews already here.  He's very responsive: I left a message hoping I could be seen the same day (it was already late afternoon) and got a call back within 15 minutes.  I was able to see him 20 minutes later!   I wanted to see a chiropractor mainly because of lower back pain that would keep resurfacing for the last 5-6 years.  Not only has it prevented me from doing the variety of physical activity that I love and that are part of my healthy lifestyle, it also brought pain to little everyday activities. I have seen physical therapists and acupuncturists for the pain which would sometimes bring temporary relief.  However, I was never really offered a specific diagnosis and I didn't know how to prevent the pain from coming back.  Dr. Pollack's assessment was thorough and pointed him to a specific injury with my back muscles and his initial adjustments brought immediate relief!   Dr. Pollack's bedside manner is fantastic.  Very kind, friendly, respectful, and recognized my nervousness at a first adjustment.  It went great!  He patiently explained everything as he went along and made sure I felt comfortable.  His office is also quite welcoming and calming.  Seeing a healthcare professional during a pandemic can be nerve-wracking so to see that he follows pandemic best practices is reassuring as well. I've had two sessions and it has been 1 1/2 weeks, and already--with the homework exercises and other techniques he instructed me to do at home and with the in-office adjustments--I have significantly less pain.  I even wake up now with a clean slate and can get out of bed without pain.  I now know what I should do (and not do) to help it recover fully.  In addition, he started working on some other trouble spots to help me feel better everywhere!  Dr. Pollack's approach is truly well-rounded and I'm really glad I found his practice!   I have my next appointment scheduled this week and look forward to continuing to receive excellent care and make progress. read more

I had a wonderful experience getting my spine adjusted by Josh. He did a couple great moves on my neck which really opened things up. Then I rolled over on my side and he alleviated some pain and tension in my lower back. He also really loosened up my feet. I started going to chiropractor's when I was 3 months old. Our family chiropractor (and this is in the 50's) saved my mom from debilitating arthritis. So I've grown up believing in exploring the cause of an illness and looking at the body as a wholistic mechanism. Dr. Josh is a caring and skilled chiropractor. He's helped me with low back pain, a shoulder injury and general maintenance. What I love is that Josh takes his time. I'm not rushed in and out in 15 minutes so he can get to the next person. He has many "tricks up his sleeve" and asks all the appropriate questions to find out where the pain or injury comes from. Josh is also a really sweet guy. You know that. he really cares about helping people and loves what he does. As a Pilates trainer I have sent several of my "in pain" clients to see Josh. I always hear glowing reports. He's in an easy to get to location in EC Plaza. read more

I've seen a number of chiropractors over the years and Dr. Pollack is the best one I've had. He customizes his adjustments for each person each visit depending on what they're experiencing. No cookie-cutter approach here. He uses a number of different tools in addition to the manual adjustments to get the job done right. He's also extraordinarily friendly, compassionate and caring. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a new chiropractor! read more

Dr. Joshua is hands down the best!!! I went in to see him with a lower back pain that I had for months. This pain had kept me from sleep at night. He listened to me complain about my pain and how I can never get rid of it despite of a hospital visit and prescribed pain medication from my previous doctor. He then proceeded to work his magic for the next hour, and I walked out of there a new person. That was the first good night sleep I had in weeks! In his follow up sessions, he continues to adjust my body for it to heal better. The best part? No drugs and no shots to numb the pain! I highly recommend a visit or few! read more

Dr Joshua is the Sax's Fifth Avenue of Chiropractors! Headaches, TMJ, and neck/back pain had become pretty bad and my new normal. I wasn't sure what to expect in going to Dr Joshua. I had been to a chiropractor years ago and it was helpful after a car accident, but I didn't think I could feel so dramatically different. Dr Joshua has a great place and lots of cool technology. He is very passionate about what he does and explains everything really well. I was taking 16 Advil's a day, and after seeing Dr Joshua in several sessions it has been game changing for me. I'm not taking pain meds anymore! After adjustments there is a resting room with a zero gravity chair and cold laser that helps with inflammation and pain. It has been an amazing experience! I give Joshua Tree Chiropractic my highest recommendation. read more

Old injuries and kinks were building up on me, then plantar fasciitis appeared. I've seen Joshua 3 times and he spends a good deal of time on my ailments and working on my fascia. At the end of the treatment he uses cold laser on the trouble spots while I recline in a zero gravity chair. I have left his office feeling relaxed and my shoulder has improved. I sleep so well after the treatments. We are still working on my foot and he has suggested exercises to help with the recovery. Doc asks pointed question and is a good listener. His assistant Kristen is very warm and friendly. The office is conveniently located next to Trader Joes and parking is easy. I feel like I'm in good hands with people that care about my recovery. read more
