When he's done I feel like a million bucks, as if someone took apart all of my bones, lubricated the connections, and reassembled everything. I usually stand about an inch taller afterwards, and my posture feels naturally straight. Beyond the great adjustments, there's something special about Dr. Weisman, or "Doctor G" as we call him. Something about his energy and down to earth way of connecting. When I describe the general area where my back feels tight, he'll immediately know the exact spot, kind of like radar. Only downside I can think of is that office could use some updating in style. But hey, I'll happily trade that for knowing I can count on feeling great after each visit.

I'm going to try to keep this short because I want people to really read this especially if you are a woman. This man is masquerading as someone who really cares he doesn't, he is 100% in it for the money. I had a consultation with him a few months ago and all he did was interrupt me. I could not get a word in edgewise. He was completely not listening to me at all. Anytime I tried to speak. He interrupted me, which I found infuriating. I was having problems with my neck and he did a few adjustments and I left feeling pretty OK. He wanted me to go to Hackensack to get x-rays mind you this was a holiday weekend. I had one day to get these x-rays and it didn't work out for me, I just didn't have the time. The next appointment I had I went in without the x-rays and he berated me. He sat back in his chair, crossed his arms and spoke to me so condescendingly I had to interrupt him and say "I do not like the way you were speaking to me" He knew that he effed up because it was all over my face...he said whoa whoa OK let's start over and at that point I was not interested in starting over. I was done with him. He was so upset that I didn't get the x-rays for whatever reason I have no idea. He said he couldn't treat me because I didn't get the x-rays done blah blah blah, but he had no trouble treating me the first time I went in and he asked me how long did the adjustment last and I said two hours..he adjusted my neck and it felt OK just OK for two hours and then it went right back to the pain I had before now here is the really problematic part when I left the office the first time he gave me a big hug a very close hug which to me is completely inappropriate and then on my way out, he yelled (yelled) "give me a good review!" To me this was totally unprofessional. Now my second visit I knew it was going to be my last. If I was a man there is no way that Mr. Dipasquale would have spoken to me the way he did. There is absolutely no way. He even went so far as to have his assistant call me instead of himself when I complained, and I knew he was listening in on the background to what I was saying, obviously he was very concerned that I was going to leave him a bad review which I 100% am right now. There are so many other good chiropractors in the area in fact, three doors down from him in Maywood, New Jersey is a chiropractor. I suggest anybody ESPECIALLY A WOMAN to not go to Philip Dipasquale as your chiropractor. This man thinks very highly of himself. I warn all potential new clients to seek elsewhere. Unless you like being spoken down to in a super condescending way by a very little man. (In stature and mindset)

Out of 10 chiropractors that I've tried, including the 4 who filled in for Dr. Bouchard during her…read more2 maternity leaves and family vacations, Dr. Bouchard is definitely the best so was with her for a good 12 years. She knows what she's doing. However, she only comes into her Manhattan office one day of the week; Thursdays. More importantly, unless you pay her $125 per 1/2 hr visit (rate as of 2011 and $250 initial consultation fee), expect to be short-changed. I left Dr. B when she increased my 1/2 hr session from $75 to $95/hr. She reminded me that since I was a long time client, I was still receiving a discounted rate from the new client rate. The problem is that even at the $75 rate, she stopped providing ultra-sound and massage therapy and only provided heat packs. Then, she would rush to get me out the door after only 15 minutes of treatment. 5 minutes to change out of street clothes into a gown, 12-15 minutes of heat pack, 5 minutes of adjustment and then she leaves so I'm getting dressed at 1:20pm. I was so turned off that I left and found another chiropractor, Dr. Marc Bobrowsky, who specializes in Applied Kinesiology and worked from home for $50 per 1/2 hr visit. He gives you a full 1/2 hr of treatment and his methods helped now and then. Dr. B, did provide ultrasound when she had an assistant, Nneka but she would sometimes come in and take over for Nneka and proceed to end the ultrasound prematurely by turning the timer dial down (you can hear it, Dr. B!) so I was short-changed from the usual 5 minutes. Also, she pushed these Chinese herbal patches which didn't do a thing for me. All they did was leave residue on my skin for several days. She told me there's a money-back guarantee from the maker so I contacted them and they told me to get a refund from the person who sold it. From above, no matter how good she is, you get an idea of how sneaky she can be. Just be aware that you may not get the full treatment if there's any discount, promotion or special offers from the normal $125/visit. Make sure you ask upfront about what the session includes and for how long. Don't forget to listen to that ultrasound dial to get the full 5 minutes.

I first heard of her through a work colleague and now more than half of my department sees her weekly! We all rave about her, with no exception, and look forward to our next visit with her. Her intuition and mix of techniques is second to none. The fact that she only works in this place once a week is a plus to me, as I think she's not worn out by working endless days/hours. Dr. Turtel is the best & is worth the 65 mile drive from NJ! - I was first referred to Dr. Turtel…read morein 1997 by a friend of mine. The words that caught my attention were "He will listen to what you say, he will order the appropriate tests, he will present you with your options and then ultimately make his recommendation." My right knee problems go back to 1985 when I blew my knee out by ripping 3 of the 4 ligaments and the knee capsule. The operation that took place in PA, which was NOT performed by Dr. Turtel, proceeded to get infected with a staph infection and ultimately a bone infection. The infection eroded much of the cartilage and the doctors pretty much guaranteed me that I would require a knee replacement by the time I was 35. In 1997, I was 32 when I went to see Dr. Turtel thinking that my knee replacement was coming 3 years early. During my appointment, unlike many other doctors, he was not rushing to see the next patient and I had his full attention. After the consultation and the testing, Dr. Turtel assured me that the knee replacement was not needed and he would not perform that operation until it was absolutely necessary. He proceeded to clean my knee out which eliminated the pain at that time. Over the next 15 years, he had to clean it out a couple more times. On a separate occasion, when I had fluid on my knee that was causing a great amount of pressure, he drained it without a problem. I am now 54 and still have not had that knee replacement thanks to Dr. Turtel. In addition to my knee, when my shoulder was "freezing up" about 5 years ago, he fixed the cartilage and it has felt fine since. In 2011, he treated the tendinitis in my elbow and in October he relieved the pain in my other knee by trimming the cartilage. Over the years I have referred at least 4 other people to him. I would have to tell anyone that reads this, my ultimate trust for Dr. Turtel is that my then 11 year old son who played football, travel baseball and travel basketball became a patient of Dr. Turtel's in 2011 due to a knee injury. Tried to see this Doctor, Had an appointment but staff has been lazy and incompetent…read more I scheduled an appt to see this Doctor, and the same day I spoke with the secretary and asked her if she can email me the Intake Forms due to a serious right arm injury I am unable to write so I can type all the documents, print them out and bring them on the day of my appointment since she also told me that NOBODY CAN HELP YOU HERE YOU NEED TO WRITE THIS YOURSELF, EVEN DO I CAN NOT WRITE, the secretary spoke with the Office Manager and they agree to email me the forms. SOMETHING THAT ANY OTHER DR OFFICE HAS DONE. 2 weeks later NO EMAIL WAS EVER SENT, I call this office again and a lady stated she was the Office Manager who had my information and guaranteed me she will email me the forms and NEVER DID. I called the Manhattan Office and unfortunately I spoke with Daisy who cut me off every single second and refuse to help by telling Dr Turtel this incident and see how can I get the form, instead Daisy was "Very Bothered" by my phone call. I will not waste my time with this Doctor since his staff is not friendly nor reliable.
