I called last week to inquire about pricing and he had such great customer service over the phone that I went ahead and booked an appointment. He was exactly the same in person. He didn't just take the key and go check out my car. He had me go with him and we reviewed the services that my car said I needed together. Once back inside he went over the service list with me, detailing what exactly they entailed. He was very informative and transparent without being pushy. He also gave so many helpful tips regarding my vehicle. I'm so glad I found this place!!! I purchased a new E300 and needed my 1st service. As a single woman I am always skeptical of mechanics and pricy cars. Sam calmed my fears as he educated me on exactly what needed to be done and why. He provided me with a ride home and back to the shop where I found my car cleaner than when I bought it. Again he explained when my next service would be and sent me on my way! Don't go to this business, he tries to upsell you especially if you are a woman. I called on the phone to ask about service B for my 2016 and he said $399, but when I showed up and he saw that I was a well dressed lady, he decided to add an extra $498 claiming my car is showing service B9, and tried so hard to convince me to pay. What he didn't know is that I know about Mercedes Services and cost. I went to Ronnie Jackson Mercedes and he did my service B for $375 and was very professional and timely. They do good quality work but don't believe everything they tell you. I knew going in which part needed to be replaced but was a bit surprised when Sam told me my car had a oil leak. I felt Sam was being quite honest with me in everything he said but I'm not sure he entertained any other possibilities as to why there was so much oil in the engine bay. The oil "leak" was actually when I changed the oil myself and the filler funnel slipped and oil got it in the engine bay and on parts near the oil fill cap. Again, these guys are honest and do excellent work and I highly recommend. Just make sure you ask questions and consider your history with your vehicle before concluding your car is no good anymore. read more

It should be a law against ripping people off. I just moved here and wanted to have my AC diagnosed why the air compressor wasn't coming on. They were adamant about taking me home (40 minutes away) to wait while they diagnosed my suv. The next thing I know the $89 became $2600 fixed. WTH!!! I didn't give my consent to fix an compressor that's going to cost over $2 thousand dollars and I'm just arriving to Houston 3 days in plus I don't have that kind of money laying around to give away when I can wait a couple weeks and not be totally in debit! Sam was not happy with me asking him why did he work on my car without my consent and acted as if I'm the one with the memory problem and he was doing me a favor by not charging me for a damn hose... REALLY no but REALLY!!! Ok, after leaving their place I drive back home NW Houston streaming, then notice that my power steering is getting stiff, maybe it's low on fluid, no biggie, I'll just too it off tomorrow, well guess WTH happens next on the way to buy fluid a man waving me to pull over, so I do thinking something is wrong with my tire, Noooo, gas is pouring out of my car! SMDH!!! Now, I'm really pissed, I call back this time I speak with "Nonchalant" Paul he states he can call a wrecker and I better hope that they get it there before they close. What does that really mean to me and I'm on the side of the road. So I called AAA & had them towed to a reliable company that's on their preferred list. I thought about it, now I just left the Benz dealership in Georgia & was given the green light to drive to TX 4 days prior to Benz By Blair touched my car. Plus the entire time in those days no leaks, no signs of nothing then all of a sudden not even 24 hours all hell breaks loose on my car and I'm suppose to be even a BIGGER fool & bring my car back to them to mess up even more! Do not bring your business here! The owner told me I needed a new AC and wanted to overcharge for it. Two years later, AC has not been replaced and works perfectly. He took advantage of my circumstances and charged me 400$ to recharge the free-on. It was mid-July, I had my 6 year niece visiting and the weather was so hot we could not possibly use the car without AC. I explained my situation and the owner took advantage of me, lied and overcharged. I found out just how badly he overcharged me when I took my car to Motorwerks and they explained I did not need a new AC and their price was literally half as much to charge it. This experience was not the best but not the worst. My main complaint is just lack of customer service. The company does a good job telling the story of caring for your car, but really and truly they are trying to make a buck and sell you things you don't need. I also question their integrity because they did not want to itemize my charges and send me a copy before they did the work. The worker said it would be to much work for him to do that and I felt like that should be an industry standard. The straw that broke the camels back for me was that I had over 3k worth of work and was told that they would detail my car and they did not detail my car. I will never take my car there again and would encourage everyone that goes to do your research because this place is out to take advantage of you. read more

I recently moved near this place and needed to get my mercedes oil leak repaired. I called and visited the shop for a diagnostic he told me it would cost $300 to look at the vehicle. I asked him if it would be applied towards the bill if i get the work done and he said no but he will give me $100 off. That is extremely high i thought to myself but told him ok lets do it. I left the car and went home to await a call to hear about the condition of the vehicle. He called later that day with results and the total bill come up to over $2500. I agreed to pay and he replied he needed a week to get the work done. I waited a week and he called me to come get the car and pay my bill. I arrived and paid. Got in the car and drove literally 5 mins away and the car broke down in this 108 degrees Houston Texas heat. I was extremely upset. I called him to alert him of the car condition and he told me to call a tow truck and bring the car back. I did and that cost me $125 bucks. He came up with every excuse in the book. I could not believe what i was hearing to my face after taking $2500 from and and returning it with a car not repaired. He wanted me to pay additional $1300 for him to fully repair the car. Secondly the mechanic came out front and said they he told the owner that the car should leave on a tow truck and not be driven off. So this man called me to come get my car. Charge me $2500 and watch my drive off with a broken vehicle which broke down 5 mins later and left me stranded on the side of the road awaiting a tow truck which cost another $125.00. Long story short my car is now at another repair shop getting the work done that I paid him for. I took my time writing this review because its important that I help other people. We knew what the problem was with our car...we had already had it checked, crankshaft positioning sensor. We informed them when we walked in and asked how much would it cost...they keep saying sit down, we'll go over it. Sit down.....finally after him saying we needed this checked, they needed to heat the sensor with a blow dryer, on and on....they give us a rough number, but it could be more....drove 15 minutes away and saved $165 and that was on their low number. Don't know if they do good work, I know they do expensive work. No problems yet on the other repair. read more

If I could give negative stars I would for this rip off place. I brought my Mercedes here for service because I didn't know of another place to take besides the dealer. The first time they overcharged for a service that wasn't needed but they insisted on.. I knew they were overcharging me but again, ignorance is bliss.. I took my car back for a "check engine" light review and they told me that it was my spark plugs and the charge would be $439! I freaked and told them absolutely not! When I went back to pick up my at they still charged me for two diagnostic tests that totaled over $160. Mind you both diagnostics were the same test.. When I asked Sam about this he responded back extremely annoyed and arrogantly stated "oh well". I took my car over to Silvio's Autohaus and they are absolutely awesome! And most importantly FAIR! I usually don't take the time to write a review. This takes the cake and I don't want anyone else to be taken advantage of . I had a mechanic Jorge pick up my classic 450SL for engine tune up. He kept putting me off saying waiting on a part. In the meantime he left the car outside to ruin. Now my classic car is totaled. It is parked in the back while we are in litigation. We had the WORST experience with these people, I would never ever recommend going to them. Not only did they do repairs that 2 other Mercedes shop's said we didn't need (they had already done them) but then after they had it for 5 weeks, and after we paid over $4000 to them the car breaks down for the things they were supposed to have fixed! They changed our oil, and now the oil sensor is malfunctioning (never a problem before) then they said that they didn't do it, but we could pay them $600 to replace sensor (yeah right). Did I mention we have moved to Austin, so they said we couldn't take it to another garage because they wouldn't cover anything the other garage said they did (like I trust them). So we didn't take it to another garage and were going to take it back to them the next time we were in houston and then, BAM, our entire car shuts down and claims battery and gateway issues (two things they replaced). I REFUSE to have them look at this car, as I don't trust them at all, they will say they didn't break it when I know they did (did I mention neither one of these things needed to be replaced, but they did it anyways and now they have broken down). They would have to pay to tow this car back to Houston and then once fixed (which I don't trust them to do) would have to pay it get it towed back to here. I'm going to a Mercedes dealership on monday and sending them the bill, I've already spoken with an attorney regarding the matter and I am well within my rights (compare it to seeing a Dr. for surgery that screws up, you are more then welcome in that situation to see another Dr for a second opinion). Oh and although they say they are cheaper then anywhere else labor wise, what they don't tell you is that they charge a diagnostic fee (yes, seems funny considering all cars are run on computers now) that starts at $88 and they can just say whatever they want and add it on to your bill, even though the computer tells them in 5 seconds what is wrong if anything. RUN!!!!! SCAMMERS!!!! Negative 100 STARS! Mid September my car would not start. I called Benz by Blair asked the cost to find out why my car won't start they said $89 and that seemed reasonable, I decided to tow my car there. I also casually asked if it was more than likely my starter and Sam told me he wasn't sure but typically starters don't go out in Mercedes but that he'd check everything. They looked into it the next day. told me they were having a hard time finding the problem and that my bill at this point was close to $300 and asked if I wanted them to continue. I was SHOCKED $89 went to $267 all of a sudden and I'm being charged by the hour when I specifically asked the cost to find out what was wrong with it. Nobody even contacted me for the extra 2 hours. Finally they call back saying it's my starter. I'm sitting here thinking I barely know much about cars and I somewhat already figured that but it took the "professionals" $267 dollars to only figure that out. After I shared my dissatisfaction with the unexpected costs Sam agreed to only charge me the original $89 plus was quoted $650 for a starter. I agreed to the price and got the work done. I had my car for exactly 2 weeks when the car was doing the same exact thing and not starting. Of course I'm mad and on the fence whether I even want to bring it back to them because I feel like if I wasn't the type of person to speak up they would've tried to take advantage of me for those hiked up diagnostics prices. I called them and spoke to Sam, he said he'd not charge me for the diagnostics and check the starter and if it was faulty replace for free under warranty. So I towed it back there. It was the weekend and they couldn't look at it til Monday. Come Monday I'm told once again they can't figure out what is wrong with my car and that the starter was checked and it was good and working. I got another call saying now that it's not my starter but that a code was reading that I needed my central gateway replaced(some computer) and it'll be $439. At the time I was feeling, did I ever even need a starter to begin with? And why wasn't this caught 2 weeks ago. Mind you I'm 5 mths pregnant and working 5 min away 2-3 times a week and don't go anywhere else. The car has barely been driven. Now I'm annoyed, but what can I do? I take a day to think about whether I wanted to pull it and have somebody else look at it but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and approved the $439 on that Tuesday afternoon around 3. Sam then informed me the computer once installed and programmed may now pick up something else as to why the car wasn't working and possibly more work may need to be done. I felt sick thinking "great MORE MONEY!!" But if what he was saying was true about the need for the computer, it made sense. He tells me 1-2 days for the part to arrive and be programmed. 2 days go by and don't hear from them. I call them Friday morning he says I'm having problems with programming the new computer and still can't figure out the cause of the problem and I MAY have to take it to the dealership. I'll let you know what I end up having to do. The day goes by and I hear nothing. Call him at 430 and he says its at the dealership. And I will have to pay them for another diagnostic at 175. I know dealership only charges $120 bc I called them the second time the car didn't start. Now I'm mad!! I never authorized the move to the dealership therefore never authorized the extra cost. After getting stern he says he'll eat the cost for the dealer diagnostics. Hes still adamant it's not the starter but once the new computer is in it should tell what else is wrong, may cost more. It's Friday so I have to wait til Monday. Monday I go speak to the dealership, they can't tell whether the original computer was messed up because it's already been replaced and the dealership had to reprogram it.Sam couldn't even do the job!! But the dealership said my car wasn't starting due to the STARTER. Now it's Tuesday and sams acting like he's doing me a favor for the towing to the dealership.I act like I don't know it's the starter, he tries to act like he's going to swap the starter out of precaution bc it MAY be defective. I say it IS defective from the beginning and that I knew from speaking to the dealership. He tells me my car will be ready the next day. Now Tuesday, 10 days later and car is ready. Sam tries to give me a total bill in the $600s charging me for the programming at Mercedes dealership. I instantly tell him NO! and I'm ONLY paying the $439 he originally said. The dealership visit has NOTHING TO DO WITH ME! He can't double charge me for a job he said he could do and couldn't!! The starter should have been swapped FIRST! Then see if it started. He couldn't even tell the starter was bad! These people are a NIGHTMARE!! Definitely try to get over on women. I wish I saw the previous reviews bc my experience was very similar.
