This new restaurant has been open for a few months now, but just had their grand opening this weekend. I came here for lunch with a friend to try it out. It is situated in a strip mall in the Keswick neighborhood.
We had the French toast with red bean filling on promotion today for $6.00, regular price is $11.95. It came with a cold or hot drink so I got the hot milk tea, a little too strong for my liking and it was not hot. The toast was okay but I would not pay regular price for it as it did not have tons of filling with three pieces of bread. We also shared the baked pork chop rice with tomato sauce. The meat was a good portion, but it tasted a little plain, not too much tomato or cheesy and came with four pieces of pineapple. If you are allergic to pineapple, make sure you let them know because I did not notice it on the description on the menu. The last item was the Malaysian curry beef brisket. This dish was delicious and came with one bowl of white rice. The portion size was good and we were really full. And, if you need a box for leftovers, there's a $0.50 charge.
The restaurant is not huge inside, there was music playing, and had two TVs. There is good parking but most businesses near it were not open on Sunday. It's worth the drive to try it out and if I lived closer, I would probably go more often. read more
