Good food- the edamame was good. Could use some garlic but it was still good. Ramen was well flavored- I got the chicken broth but the miso tasted more classic. Appropriate ratio of the ingredients, pork could have been juicier. Seemed that the employees were understaffed unfortunately. Also would have loved fried garlic chips or a spicy chili oil.

Their kimchi chicken sounded tasty for a late lunch meal today. We got extra spicy sauce on the side, kimchi as our side. It comes with rice. Side options: veggies, extra rice, kimchi. $13.78. Order would take 10-15 minutes for pickup. The kimchi chicken is nicely flavored, spicy. Some mixed sized chunks of chicken. The sauce is quite good. The side of rice is the red bean infused rice. The side of kimchi is okay. The kimchi chicken was yummy for sure.

This is one of my favorite places to eat lunch, I normally go with the spicy chicken rice bowl, with the purple rice, and extra veggies, but today I went for the spicy beef ramen and my better half had the chicken ramen. Both were amazing. Chrissy, working the register was super nice & friendly. Annie, who owns the joint, is always on top of her game, which is what makes this place so successful. Amazing staff, amazing food. Check it out!

How could I not have even known this place was missing from my life?! Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Order the ramen!! Although I left feeling full and with leftovers, my first thought as I left was, "When can we go back?!"

I really like the concept of this place. Korean/ Mexican. It's really unique and the menu looks so delicious. I ordered the bibimbap and it was really good but the bottom had harderned burnt rice. I got it in a hot stone so I don't know if that's why? My sister ordered the japchae. That was really good I really enjoyed it. If it were not for the burnt rice at the bottom, I would give this a 4 because it was kind of annoying biting into a gritty hard texture in between the rest of the food which was super good.

Great food! The bulgogi was outstanding. Ramen was good also. Friendly service, and the food came quickly. Highly recommend!

Fun spot for korean fusion and classics! Pros: Good price Nice employees Cons: None really Overall, the chicken sandwich was very tasty. The tofu burrito bowl was good but nothing really stood out about it. I wish there was more tofu.

First time here in January 2023. I got the Taro frozen tea with bubbles, it was delicious! I also got the glass noodles with chicken, it was kind of salty and not super flavorful. I would not get that dish again but the taro drink i definitely would!

Somehow we missed this place when search for ramen places after my favorite ramen shop has been closed (look like) permanently. But we went there last weekend and they did not disappoint us. You came up to the counter to order and pay. We ordered black garlic chicken noodles and spicy seafood noodles with extra kimchi. The broth from both were so delicious. My noodles had mussel, scallop and some shrimps with cabbage. I have been craving for ramen noodles for a while. Worth it!

Came here to try something new with a friend! The staff were super friendly and helpful. I loved the chef's japchae! It was just the right amount of spice. My friend had the burrito and enjoyed that as well. What a fun concept!

Note the eclectic mix of utensils. Korean spicy pork bone soup with potatoes (gamjatang)

This place feels like the owner took a mix of everything they like to eat, regardless of the differing cuisines they originate in, and decided to sell it all at one store. It contains dishes that are Japanese, Korean and Mexican, as well as more hipster Western-style cakes such as ombré purple layer cakes. That made me a little suspicious about how good everything would taste, but I really enjoyed my gamjatang (spicy Korean pork broth with potatoes) and my friend's Japanese curry tonkatsu rice looked decently authentic (just judging off looks) and my friend liked it. As a visual sign of the eclectic mesh of this place, the utensils that came with my food were a fork and a Japanese long soup spoon (the kind they use with Japanese ramen). I've either seen it done soup spoon + chopsticks, or fork and spoon if you want to go the other spectrum. It amused me but technically worked to get food to my mouth, so I went with it. Service was okay (nothing remarkably good or bad). I saw in another review that they do an automatic 30% tip when paying with card, but if that was the case, I'm glad to say that they no longer presume that in the paper receipt!

    Bulgogi beef burrito

We went on a whim to Bento Kitchen a little over a month ago for the first time and enjoyed it. I had the bulgogi beef burrito with kimchi and it was huge. I've never had Mexican/Korean before and while I love bulgogi beef, I probably would order it as an entree next time so I can really embrace the flavors in a more traditional sense. I also ordered the seafood pancake for us to split and I loved it. The dipping sauce that came with it was great, too. My significant other had the kimchi chicken and he loved it. The from the sauce to the portion size, he was very pleased with his meal overall. I tried the mangonada and was a little disappointed that I didn't get a tamarind straw with it, but I did enjoy the flavors. It reminded me of my favorite Mango Tajin popsicles. My SO got the strawberry slush and thought it good, too. We'll definitely be back to try other menu items in the future!

Normally authentic Ramen not…read moreclose to a major city(NYC, Boston, San Fran) would be a major red flag but Michigan in general is quite diverse and to be honest, has not failed me yet. Sapporo is not about to break that trend! Right off the bat, the vibe is chill and the staff is welcoming. I go for the Takoyaki and Hakata modern. The Takoyaki is absolutely delicious. Wonderful balance of texture and salt vs sweet. Easily top 3 I've had. On to the ramen....which I was ready to be super hyper critical on. Hakata modern features Tonkotsu pork broth, chashu, ajitsuke tamago, menma, beansprouts, garlic oil, umami dama, and scallions. Final verdict? The broth is rich and flavorful, and there is plenty of it! The ramen egg is a tab bit overdone and the chasu can be a little more tender but who am I kidding? It's pretty damn good! The best part of all? Sapporo sits at a very reasonable price point while not compromising on high quality. All in all, very much worth a trip while in the area. Sapporo slides right into my go to lineup :-)
