Ok. Table of 4. Sat in the bar area since there was a massive party in the main dinning area…read more Waited nearly 10 minutes for a drink order. Actually had to walk to the bar to ask if someone was going to come over. 5 minutes and we finally received our menus and a drink order. Watched our waitress wander around hugging everyone under the sun. Apparently if you don't know here, you're not important enough. Didn't get waters even after asking. We did order beers and sodas. Waitress ran away before placing an appetizer order. While waiting for drinks and seeing them sitting in the bar waiting to be picked up or waitress decided to have a long chat with a personal buddy for a while, walk around and talk to some kids, made some drinks for the pregnant bartender, walked away from the bar to make it to our table and then remembered "oh" your drinks. I literally could go on and on about the service. Horrendously Bad. It's so loud in there that we were all yelling at each.....2 feet apart. Food was eh. Salty, very salty. Wish I had some water. Wouldn't recommend and will definitely not be returning.

My favorite part is that it still feels part of the mill system while having an updated aesthetic. It doesn't feel out of place - it feels right IN place. I normally come here to have a beer or two with a friend & catch up when I'm in the area, I enjoy their beers & they usually have one or two new drinkable things kicking around on their menu - I have yet to try a beer I haven't enjoyed. They have a fairly decent menu but I typically stick to pretty common mainstays - I've never had a bad experience. Service is always friendly & attentive.

We had to park at the lot near the mill buildings and water and walk a pretty good distance to get to the restaurant but I guess I could use a few steps. Walked in it was very loud where they wanted to seat us under the canopy where there were some unruly bar patrons so they brought us to a quieter area. We sat for a long while before being greeted by our server. But we still wanted to give it a shot. We ordered poutine with portobello mushrooms and the three tables around us got their full meals before we got our appetizer. Then, she took our main course order and like the app, the food took forever and we are usually very patient. The server was super nice but just was very slow and the fries in the poutine were cold. The main course was a root salad that my wife thought was pretty good with turnips and vinaigrette. I had clam chowder and calamari/shrimp dish ... I paid almost 20 bucks for the calamari and got about 5 pieces and 4 small shrimp and the chowder had no flavor. We then asked for a box to put her salad in and the waitress forgot. Until she realized as she was dropping off the check. I don't think we will be back .. maybe just for the outdoor patio ambiance but, not the food.

The Caprese appetizer was insanely good. The haddock fingers were excellent. The ambiance is what pushes it over the top. There's something telling about a place the moment you walk in, and here, it isn't subtle. You're…read moremet with the lingering scent of beer soaked into the floor from nights that were clearly busier than anyone could properly manage. Now, most people would interpret that as neglect. But that's not quite right. It's evidence. Evidence that this is a place that has been tested, repeatedly, and continues to operate under pressure. And strangely enough, that inspires a certain confidence. You know, almost immediately, the drinks are going to be done properly. I ordered something simple. chicken fingers with buffalo sauce and bleu cheese. Nothing remarkable, and that's precisely the point. They weren't trying to reinvent anything. They were just... competent. And competence, especially in an environment that borders on chaos, is not trivial. It's reliability. It's order, holding its ground. The service reflected that same tension. Reese, the bartender, was clearly under strain. busy to the point where most people would start to fracture, but she didn't. She held the line. And if you've spent enough time in this industry, you know that's not easy to do. There's something almost admirable about watching someone maintain composure when everything around them is loud, demanding, and slightly out of control. And that's really the essence of the place. It's loud... almost aggressively so. Packed. Borderline unruly. At one point, there was a couple engaged in what was clearly a volatile argument... infidelity, perhaps? but the noise swallowed the details. It didn't matter. The specifics were irrelevant. What you were witnessing was raw human behavior, unfiltered, playing out in real time. And oddly enough, it fit perfectly. This is not a place for quiet reflection or carefully structured conversation. It's a place where order and chaos collide and neither one fully wins. But if you're the kind of person who can tolerate that, or even enjoy it... there's something undeniably compelling about it. If you want quiet, look elsewhere. But if you're willing to step into something louder, messier, and far more alive, then this place offers exactly that. It's not refined. It's not restrained. It's something closer to a modern day bacchanal. And for better or worse, that's the point.

The female pianist was incredibly talented, the crowd was friendly, and the atmosphere made it easy to hang out for a while. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

Place was packed but thankfully we snagged a high top table inside. They even had some live music going on which was great. Service was friendly and quick with multiple servers checking in with us and other parties. Busy but they did not seem overwhelmed at all. Top notch service during our visit. In the past they had food trucks for food but within the past couple months have opened up their own wood fire oven and food menu. Think wood-fire pizzas, fries, smash burger and other options. Cocktail wise they have a huge variety of seasonal options and they are mostly broken up into categories including even spicy options. My wife went with their Lavender Haze, a lavender gin based drink while I went a unique savory option of Baby Carrot, a vodka based cocktail that was definitely orange like carrots and even had carrot garnish. Both were phenomenal with my wife finding a new favorite with the Lavender Haze. After trying those we decided on splitting a chicken pesto pizza. It came out cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of char & crisp. The crust was soft and pillowy enough so that my wife who typical skips out on eating the crust but she enjoyed all of her crust. Really well made pizza and look forward to trying even more versions in the future. Before leaving we wanted an additional cocktail to end the night. I went with the espresso martini which they offer black or with cream. While my wife got a Tiramisu Martini which was kinda a riff on the espresso martini. I did order the espresso martini with cream but it still was quite stronger than the majority of versions I've tasted. My wife's drink was the superior dessert cocktail. Overall we enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning. Especially keen on seeing both the fall and winter cocktail menus! A must visit distillery.
