We've been going since our girl was a little nugget; Now she's 9 and our little boy is 2. They know Bentleys = Getting spoiled! This particular location is large and they have grooming services too. We have Shiba Inus so grooming isn't a needed service. But this is super convenient if your pups need it! The selection of food is great, and frequently there are free samples or deals on certain brands. There's a whole chew bar of yummy pup snacks too! We brought our puppy in for grooming, teeth cleaning, and a nail trim and were very happy with the service. We had used Petco grooming the last time and not only did they charge us about $25 more than they originally said it would be, they did not even complete all of the services we paid for. The told us that our puppy was just "living her best life and was too happy for [them] to trim her anywhere." Cat at Bentley's told us that our puppy is sweet and fun loving and she did an excellent job with making her look beautiful. We especially loved the cute bow that quickly turned into a bow tie on our sweet girl. We will only be going to Cat at Bentley's for our pup's grooming needs from now on. I recently brought my dog in here for grooming. The staff here are amazingly friendly and helpful. They are great at their job. My dog is kind of irritable but they are able to handle it and eventually he got along with them. While waiting, I shopped for a few foods and treats for my dog. The treats they offer are healthy. I have been buying food here for my dog since then and I never had a problem. They also offer self service dog wash but I prefer to wash the dog myself at home with the bath products that I also bought from them. They also have amazing toys for dogs. After a while, the grooming is done and I love the result. My dog looks better and cuter. The staff always had its job well done. I heard about the cool self service dog wash they have from my friend so I decided to try it. I took my two dogs there and the people work there were very friendly. They patiently explained how the "dog wash" works and went ahead to clean it up for me before I use. So it's $10 for two tokens, while each token worth 10 minutes of the machine time. The machine was pretty cool, you just choose rinse/shampoo/conditioner and it's all in one. And then they have blow dry there two. I was able to wash both of my dogs within the 20 mins time window since one of them is small and the other is just a puppy. My puppy was not a big fan of the system surprisingly because he normally behaves pretty good during bath time at home. But I don't see anything wrong with the machine. It's very convenient. So I would recommend dog owners to give it a try. And if your dog likes it, it totally worth it for not having to clean up after the dog bath at home. Shit bath service today. Water IS TOO HOT! This is not the first bath I gave my dog at this location either but it was my last, since the girl tried to tell me it's always like this. No it was not, lukewarm is perfectly ok, not hot. 90F outside and I'm giving my dog a hot bath. You have 20 minutes to wash and dry your dog which is not unreasonable but I literally washed him so fast I had 10+ minutes left because the WATER WAS TOO HOT. Time and money wasted! read more

I just had my standard poodle, Bentley, groomed at this location for the first time and I am so, so pleased! The groomer's name is Catherine (Cat) and she was amazing! First I was impressed they take dogs 1 on 1, no crating or waiting around while another pup is worked on. My guy is never crated and I always felt so bad knowing he spent time in and out of them at previous grooming facilities. Cat did such a wonderful job. She listened to my concerns (Bentley is partially blind and has a weak rear leg) but she reassured me she would take precautions and let him rest if needed. It made me feel so good! I showed her a few pictures and not only does he look perfect, he was groomed in 2 hours! I've never had him back sooner than 4-5 hours in the past, I know I appreciated the quick turn around, and so did Bentley! The timeliness did not take away from the quality. He looks and feels amazing. I will be coming to Cat from now on! I'm very happy. read more

Nice store and friendly staff. The reason I gave 2 stars is because I specifically went to this store for a soft cupcake for my dog. Shes sick and will not eat anything. I told the staff my dog has barely any teeth and will not eat. Is the cupcake soft because she has like 2 teeth and she wont eat. He assured me it was. I bought it and left. Got home to feed it to my dog and it was hard as a rock. May I remind you this cupcake was about $7. I was that desperate to get my dog to eat and then to find out it was way to hard to even give to her. I was pretty pissed off. I will not be going back. read more

Finding a place to trust for your pets diet and needs is tough but I found Bentley's! I love their motto and that shopping there is a carefree experience. I don't have to worry about choosing something for my cat that deviates from what she should be eating! I don't have to worry about feeing her corn or wheat like what's in generic pet food. Last time I went, the staff were super helpful when I had some questions on certain cat foods. I also feel like although they seem fancy they have great foods for all budgets! Bentley's is the Whole Foods for pets!! They carry the highest quality foods/treats and they also carry CBD oil which has made a huge difference in our senior husky. The staff is amazing, I have ALWAYS been greeted and acknowledged by the staff. I go there quite often, mostly to this location now that its closer and the staff is so helpful and spend time talking to you if you have questions (which I always have a million). Recently, my husky took some meds which has reduced his appetite significantly where he no longer eats his fav foods nor treats and that's stressful. I went to Bentley's and Chris helped me (after numerous trips to the store and many many samples) we finally found the soft and freeze dried food that my dog seems to really like and has been eating since and this is thanks to the knowledgeable staff and extremely helpful advice from Chris, who I have to say at this point saved my dog (who was losing weight from refusing to eat) and my sanity! Everyone here is truly genuine and their love for all pets and their well being is obvious and I truly appreciate the sincere, helpful advice which has made a world of difference in our husky. Bentley's pet stuff has always been one of the top places I visit when I am seeking super healthy treats and high grade cat and dog food that both my pets love! When I lived in Greek town and Old town in Chicago I would visit twice weekly, come in and find the best quality dog food that both my pets seem to devour. I was so delighted to find this new location here in Schaumburg because now that I am here (for however long) this will be the number one pet shop I will visit from now on because it's so cleanly, well organized and filed with a variety of healthy, tasty food items for your pets. Did I mention toys? Every time I come here I always find a cute toy my cat may enjoy. This is my new favorite Bentlley's because the moment I walked in I was instantly struck by how organized and beautiful all the products are placed not to mention how friendly the staff is here. It smells clean, the food is incredibly healthy and there is a raw freezer section if you wish to feed your dog raw products.
