Pizza was cut terribly and was shamed for how much water we preferred to consume while getting drinks.

Poor service shamed for water consumption and pizza was cut terrible. Not terrible price and was open late for Walker .

We (husband and I) came here for lunch at 11:30 on a Saturday. It wasn't very busy, and our waitress was promptly at our table ordering our drinks. Our waitress was wonderful - friendly, helpful, and kind. We ordered the French dip sandwich and the cajun chicken sandwich. After we ordered, our waitress mentioned that they had just changed the menu and the sides were no longer included. The actual menu didn't show this, but that's how the orders worked. We chose to not order sides. (We noticed on the receipt that the price was cheaper than the price listed, so they didn't include the price for the sides.) Both our sandwiches were good, but I was a little disappointed that the cajun wasn't at all spicy. The 2 things that were a little off putting in the restaurant were - 1. Most of the TV's were on boxing. It's not my favorite thing, but I can just not watch; children however, have a hard time not watching. And I don't think boxing is child friendly. 2. I generally don't judge a food place on the way it looks, but the bathrooms could really use an update. Without these 2 items, I'd give them 4 stars.

It took a long time for us get a server, but once we did he was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is casual and the pizza was really tasty and pipping hot (as it should be). The side salad was yummy but seemed quite overpriced.

Benson's is THE Walker staple. Don't expect "heaven on earth", be reasonable- They cater late at night and all through the day. Many choices that are comfortable and safe for the northern demographic. Family friendly, group friendly, or even a little intimate ;) Food is GOOD. Drinks... full bar- margaritas are a no. But that's me. I can always get me another mixed drink! And they are great! Staff is BOMB. *STAFF* LOVE~ I love them all- so great at what they do. I can only imagine the stress and pressure they endure as a constantly successful establishment and as hospitality workers... but they all always remain genuine, kind and professional AND attentive.

Dog friendly shady patio!!! Waitresses were so sweet to our two puppies. Pizza was a phenomial cheesy thick crust masterpiece. They had lots of different topping options. Big list of beers.

We came in here on a Sunday evening when most of the town was closed. We were very impressed with the pizza and the salad. Our waiter was friendly and helpful.

Came here for dinner. Yelp didn't have an updated review so hopefully this helps. Super busy as heck but in my opinion they did great with the amount of staff they had. Rachel always had a smile on her face and a cheery voice among the crowd. Market salad was phenomenal! We had The Pelican pizza- stuffed crust which was great! The stuff crust was over stuffed which we like so we asked for Marinara sauce. They has the Bemidji Brewing Octoberfest beer which is pretty yummy and a good selection of beer on tap. Smaller restaurant with good kickbutt pizza- yeah go check it out!!

We have eaten here twice and both times the pizza was excellent. However the service was amazing the first time and awful the second time. The first time we sat at the bar and it was fairly busy. The bartender took great care of us and everything was wonderful. The next time we were with a group of 12 and sat in "The Boat" which I love the idea of. Super cool with momentous of past guests. The waitress I think just wasn't ready for a group yet as apparently they're waitressing and making drinks? She didn't seem to know how to make a couple of them and the food wasn't quite right, but what we did have was really good (the food, not the drinks). The summer atmosphere is a think a bit chaotic with tourists coming and going and I think a lot of the local kids out of school use it as a hangout. I'd definitely go back, but was a little bummed that I referred everyone there and it was a bit of a disaster. I didn't try anything but the pizzas and they were good!

Thank goodness Benson's was open the evening we were in downtown Walker! There was only one other eatery place open for business (and it was packed). I enjoyed our drinks, meals and local friendly vibe here!

The service was great and the pizza was amazing!! Loved going to a hometown favorite when we were walking down memory lane

Good food. Great service. Quick! Had the spicy burger and I'd recommend it. 1919 root beer on tap was great. Strong flavor.

The pizza is good when it's good, but it's pretty inconsistent! One day it's the best pizza you ever had, the next day it's pretty blah.

I loved my Hot Bourbon drink with a nice hit of cayenne butter and a few other tasty additions the Gin and Tonic was amazing as usual. I had the Carnitas Pizza (crisp crust, well prepares Carnitas and fresh greens) and Wild Rice Mushroom Soup. (Deep flavors with nicely done Wild Rice.). We started with the bacon wrapped dates (perfectly sticky) and the White Bean dip (tasty and crisp veggies includes watermelon remediates, yum ). This remains my favorite spot in the area, worth the drive for sure.

While we waited for a table to open up we ordered some drinks at the bar. We tried their espresso martini, watermelon crush, paloma and their cabana banana old fashioned, all were beautiful and delicious. The watermelon crush had a nice spice, this was my favorite cocktail. My husband and I shared the wild rice mushroom pizza, not a crumb left! It was fantastic. The kids had a cheese pizza, not a crumb left again, they raved about their fire oven pizza. My brother in law had their classic turkey salad, he said it was the best salad he's ever had. Everything looked and tasted so fresh. Even their ranch was amazing, I asked for a side of it for my pizza. Yes, I love ranch with my pizza :) We will definitely be coming back next summer, I will be looking forward to this!

Over the years the food quality and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. We were thrilled to find out new ownership had taken over a place that was near and dear to our hearts. I flew in from Texas this afternoon and this was the first place I wanted to eat. The Facebook pictures weren't wrong.... the food looks delicious and was even better than it looked. The restaurant was cleaner than we have seen in a decade!! This is 4th of July weekend and the place is packed! We waited 45 minutes for a table of 9 to eat inside. They made us feel welcomed without rushing us. The servers are all new, smiling and know the menu well! The new manager came in and greeted friends old and new. The manager working the line was all smiles which is rare. Amanda the bartender made a mean cocktail. The Alfredo sauce is nothing to bat an eye at.... homemade and the real deal! Walleye is fresh from lower Red Lake and gone is the nasty old pecan crusted greasy fish. The tarter sauce is homemade and could've been eaten with bread! Skip the expensive fish at Boulders and save your money with this. I did the walleye sandwich sans bun. The cheese curds were so good we ordered 2 more baskets! We will make sure we come a few more times before we leave town.
