Holy garlic flavorful this was so good the girls all got one to go . I didn't need any side sauces but some got cheese or marinara. The cinnamon pretzel was very good and my second choice and the cheddar jalapeño was the third contender. This is a must anytime I'm in town! Sometimes there's a 10-minute wait, and it is completely worth it. If you get the plain one, they have really good cheese to dip it into, or if you get the pepperoni one, that is just incredible by itself. As good as the pretzels are, what's even better is the secret garden in the back, complete with a hand-washing station and an extra place to buy cookies and hot chocolate this time of year. I didn't even know this chain of bakery was a thing but definitely glad I stumbled upon it during my visit to St Augustine. They are Amish-inspired soft pretzels in a variety of flavors and dipping sauces. Apparently the dipping sauces are included with the order but I ordered 2 and did not get any dipping sauces. It was quite busy during my visit, including a line to even order, but I would like to try some of their other options (like the pepperoni or jalapeño/cheese) because the one I had (original/salt) was delicious. My kids and I devoured both pretzels, they were perfectly cooked and tasted yummy. The everything soft pretzel was so warm and delicious. Got a chance to meet with one of the owners Cameron. Him and his parents created this beautiful garden for customers coming to @benspretzelsstaugustine and @mimis_famous_crepes You can also host private events in the garden surrounded by oak trees ferns and cute seating. My only complaint is the young girl rung up our pretzels and handed them to us. I said, can I have some mustard. She said, "that will be 73 cents". I paid for for my mustard, she gave me my change and said, "have a nice evening". She forgot to give me the mustard I just paid for. LOL.... If she really wants to work it right, ask the customer, "do you want to purchase some mustard to go with your pretzel"? That will make the sale complete on the first try. This place has the best pretzels I've ever had in my 23 years of being alive. Nearby there's an Auntie Anne's/Cinnabon, but I'm going to be honest you should skip them and come here. It's all home made from scratch. I ordered a regular cinnamon pretzel and I saw the person make it in front of me, it tasted delicious , it was super soft, buttery and sweet. My boyfriend ordered the pepperoni and it tasted amazing as well. The place is nicely built, it's cozy, warm & you feel welcomed the person that took care of us was very nice and attentive, they really attracted us into the store, we got our pretzels in no time. If you're in St. Augustine give this place a try something that could be "different". You can have Auntie Anne's anytime at any retail mall.
