Finally after many calls, I get a design emailed to me, and when I replied back about some changes, on April 8th, Leroy never responded. They think because they finally sent over a design 2 months later, that qualifies for them to keep my $150 without trying to work on the project. This is the WORST company and service you can get. The lowest of all lows. No response since April 8th. How bad can you get? Your response below is completely false and fabricated to make you look responsible. You lied and continue to lie to make your company look good. You went weeks and weeks without contacting me and if it wasn't for me calling, you would NOT have called or finished a design. Also, the nerve of saying this project was more money than I wanted to spend is a lie! I had changes regarding the design and you completely ignored my email and once again NEVER RESPONDED. I contacted Tin Works with the intention of repairing a damaged range hood as a matter of urgency, in view of the forthcoming sale of my property. Despite sending multiple emails, I received only one response. I made repeated calls to the company regarding scheduling an appointment, but was met with an uncooperative and unyielding front desk lady who failed to provide any solutions or basic information, despite my simple and straightforward enquiries. For example, I attempted to ask whether I could pay by credit card, but was informed that payment could only be made by check.  Even after the company stated in the one any only email sent to me that I could pay by credit card. I have all those emails attached below for reference in the photos section.  I had to reach out to the company directly by phone over 6 times and was met with a combative, rude, no customer service, and no solutions available front desk lady. All she would constantly tell me is she can take my name and number and get back to me.  Did she once ever get back to me?  Or call me?  Never once. The day of the technician's scheduled visit, I waited, but the technician failed to show up. When I contacted Tin Works, I was informed by the same unhelpful front desk lady that the technician could not be reached, and that she had left him a voicemail. I asked her what I should do, and her response was unhelpful, simply suggesting that I "do whatever I want". I expressed my frustrations at the lack of follow-through, but did not raise my voice or behave in a disrespectful manner. Nonetheless, the front desk lady accused me of belittling her, which left me confused.  I proceeded to tell her I am going to leave a review about the company online.  She said we will respond accordingly like she's trying to scare or threaten me.  What are you going to respond about?  How awful the entire situation was?  And that you can't keep a simple appointment request on the books accordingly.  I drove 30 minutes to meet this tech at the house. It was a waste of my time and day. Given my experience, I have no intention of ever engaging Tin Works again. Instead, I will opt for a mom and pop shop that is more deserving of my patronage. Also side note it does not surprise me how low their rating is on Yelp. You are what you promote.

His quote was fair, he was quick to respond to my texts, and the whole process just felt easy. Once my gate came in, he had it installed the very next day--which I did not expect, but definitely appreciated! The gate looks amazing and the workmanship is solid. You can tell he really cares about what he does. I'd absolutely recommend Gabe and Sacred Steel if you want someone reliable who does great work.

Shon is a great businessman. He was very diligent, sincere, and people-oriented personality. I…read moreneeded a ramada or pergola as some call it, in my backyard, roofed. It previous had Micky Mouse plywood sheets with some roll roofing on it, held down with bricks, that was not professionally done. Was like that when I bought the house in 2004. So the wood got rotten over the years. One of the rotten places was the armrest of the wooden bench. I asked Shon to replace the rotten wood that involved the "armrest". But I didn't like Shon's carpenter named Kevin. Shon told me he was a "great carpenter", but when Kevin came to replace the rafters, and the armrest, he did not have the consciencious "eyesight" to see the rotten wood that was supporting the top horizontal board that the arm rests on. And when he replaced the top board, he DIDN'T THINK to turn the board over to the other side where there was no knot, so the armrest can be clean and flawless. Instead he nails the bad knot-holed side on top, where the knot fell out, leaving a hole in the wood. His eyes didn't even notice the hole in the wood. It was not that he saw it and didn't care, cos later I asked him why he nailed the wood with the hole at the top instead of turning it over to a good side on top. He just never THOUGHT about it! His eyes and mind also did not notice, what I thought was screaming obvious, that the wood supporting the armrest, was sooooo rotten and disintegrated, and he nailed good wood right on top of crumbling termite-eaten wood. See my pictures of the rotten wood that Kevin nailed good wood on top of. I would not hire this carpenter if I were his boss, because he lacks the "vision" needed to do the good workmanship job, that I would want for my business. If I were owner, I would want a carpenter whom I can TRUST AND KNOW will do a good job, without me having to check to make sure he did, because I know he can SEE and THINK! Instead ME, AN OLD SENIOR LADY, who has no construction experience, HAS TO SHOW KEVIN !!!!!! But after showing Shon the pictures below, he sent Kevin back to make it right. I asked Kevin why he didn't SEE the rotten wood. He said he really didn't THINK about it. I said "You need to SEE and THINK!!! He said, "I guess I do.". Why is it this old lady had to THINK for contractors. Anyhow, I am still giving Shon 5 stars, cos he made it right, and was so determined to make me happy. He replaced ALL the rafters, when his bid said replace about 5 of the7, but I paid for the armrest replacement which included some of the wood replacement in the rafters. Also Shon saved me money over other roofing contractors, simply because sheet metal is cheaper than roll roofing, which doesn't last as long, either. Someone mentioned that it would be noisy when it rains hard. I have not yet experienced heavy rains.
