I would not refer this company to anyone! Poor customer service and not professional at all! Not…read moreonly do they not initially request all the information they need from you to do your event but, the owner Carrie Ray will leave you a hostile voicemail accusing you of deleting the information she needs then tell you she's backing out of your event! This came minutes after she emailed me asking for my address, followed up with another back to back email accusing me of deleting my info and saying she's going to back out of my event, unless I put down a $100 deposit. Not only did she not give me enough time to respond to get initial email, she didn't return my phone call or text, even though I left my address in both which she claimed she needed. I also explained to her in a voicemail and a text that her info sheet that she asked me to fill out only asked for an email address, not a physical address and left her my address. I also emailed her asking how I can get the $100 deposit to her and got no reply. Her reason for backing out of my event boiled down to her taking a better paying gig. It had nothing to do with her not having my address because I gave it to her the same day she requested it. I ended up booking with another company who were professional and provided great customer service from the start. If you want good customer service, professionalism, and don't want to take a chance on having to scramble at the last minute to book face painting and balloon twisting for your event, do NOT book with Shimmy Giggles Entertainment!!!

Margaret did the most awesome face painting one can imagine, folks could not believe her work was so detailed and fast! These folks are professional in every way and no one can come close to what they offer. The balloons were incredible as well and Funny Business made our event a huge success. I should have written this awhile back, but we've just booked again, so here's the scoop:…read more Wow! This guy will blow your socks off! I saw "Tharpo" the clown perform at my kids' preschool. He was super-high-energy, and funny as heck, doing prop comedy, juggling, telling jokes, and performing magic that entertained the parents as much as the kids. My husband and I enjoyed it so much, we chatted with him a bit after the show and found out he has a whole crew of performers with an amazing array of talents. So, then we had this idea for Halloween. ;) A hayride, a stilt walker, a fire breather/eater, witches, a magician, living statues, a fortune teller, jugglers, and a guy with a passel of reptiles that he parades around for the guests to pet and be in awe of. ;) Well, our youngest just turned 9, and she wanted a visit from a mermaid princess at her birthday party. Tharpo came through again! Our mermaid princess was so beautiful and sweet! She arrived on time in a lovely costume, played games with and music for the children, and everyone had a wonderful time! I booked airbrush hats for my child's birthday party, and the artist was extremely rude to both me and my guests. Upon arrival, she made a point to question why we were even holding the event due to the rain, despite everything being indoors, and the rain itself lasted less than 30 minutes. Her behavior was so off-putting that several guests approached me during the event to express their discomfort. I also tried contacting the company before and during the event, but my calls repeatedly went unanswered, which had already been a problem leading up to the day. I will say once I called it to her attention she started acting nicer, but by that time the damage was done. For the price they charge, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and service. I was also told that tipping was expected. While I had plenty of cash on hand, I chose not to tip based on how poorly we were treated, which is something I never do.
