He was so patient with me and ordered the parts within days for me to come in to have my broken taillights fixed. I came on a Saturday morning to get my taillights fixed and it literally took 15-20mins for them to finish. He was working on a car before but took the time to install my lights. I sat in the lounge, which was air conditioned (didn't expect that at a mechanic shop..maybe I'm traumatized from the past ones lol), but it was quite chill inside. Overall the price was reasonable and I know this because he actually gives you a legitimate receipt. I would definitely recommend this shop!

Then about a year ago he sold his shop to a fellow named Marco and it is even better! Marco is a Coptic Christian from Egypt and the most caring, honest business man, let alone mechanic, I have ever dealt with! He goes above and beyond, finds ways to fix things that others said impossible, always trims prices for you and will avoid costly repairs if they are not needed! He is involved and supervises all repairs. Marco got my 1999 Chevy Truck running top notch, with lots of power and no more check engine light. I had originally been told my engine was losing compression and that the fix was too expensive. "Sell your truck for whatever you can get for it" I was told. Then Marco came along and got my truck roaring; he really is a miracle worker. What a difference! Our affordable and beneficial experiences with the new owner of Johnny's Automotive are numerous and include many repairs, big and small, to my Honda Pilot and Chevy Pickup. A real treasure to have this honest, professional and affordable mechanic in my town! Highly recommend him.

He had charged us to replace a serpentine belt and 2 other mechanics we went to less than 3 months after said it had never been replaced. Looked over severe issues during inspections, replaced a tie rod with one that was the wrong size, ect. We spent more money fixing his mistakes than getting the original repair work done. 0/5 stars if I could, super defensive if you ever bring up parts being replaced wrong and wanted me to bring in the old battered serpentine belt he had never touched that was already in a much better mechanics trash can before he even heard me out.

They told me my battery was at 12% and would die soon. They tried to scam me to get $200 out of me for a new battery that I didn't need. I know because the battery was less than a year old. Worried though, I went to check it at an auto store. They told me my car battery was fine and at 100%. Now I can never trust them again if they lie about a simple battery. It's extremely upsetting. It got me stressed and wasted my time getting it checked out someplace else. Unfortunately, the auto store said they seen this a lot. I will attach pictures below of the battery test they (Kwik Kar) presented and the auto store presented. Please don't go here. Especially if you're a woman! They'll try to take advantage of you.
