They made a next-day appointment & phoned when they were on their way. A very knowledgeable technician - Josh arrived & after checking the plumbing in the basement, explained where the problem was. I had the option of hydro jetting or pouring a clog-clearing product called "Liquid Lightning" (which I never heard of) down the drain. I found the product at Walmart & used it as directed. So far, so good. I have two water heater replacements as well as other plumbing repairs coming in the near future & I will not hesitate to call Rockstar Plumbing. Unlike many businesses today, they are honest, knowledgeable, and (as advertised) don't charge for estimates.

Our old house (1937) kept surprising us with plumbing problems, and after years of unsatisfactory service from various plumbers, Flood Brothers were recommended to us, and it was a game changer! No matter how big or small the job, each time they do a job, it stays fixed! They are meticulously clean, thorough, caring, honest and explain each job completely before they begin. Ultimately the problem was fixed in a timely manner. He quoted me a fair price and was wonderful to work with and in communicating. However, I wish his employees were a little more respectful and competent. After the first day of repairs, they left my side gate (exposed to the street) wide open. And then after the job was completely done, they hammered the old cast-iron pipes into several pieces on my yard so they could throw them in my trash can. The next day, I found my grass littered with cast iron pieces. Giovanni offered to come clean it up himself, but I had to clean it up by myself before my gardener arrived.

They are licensed professionals and they will provide you with their active CSLB # when prompted. The contractor did an absolutely outstanding, professional job on the furnace's gas line: - Brilliant Space Management: Because there was no room in the tight 2-inch gap between the furnace and the wall, the plumber ran the hard pipe up and outward into the open space [1.2.6]. - 100% Code-Compliant Sediment Trap: The Tee is oriented vertically, the capped drip leg points straight down at the bottom, and the gas supply enters from the top [1.2.5, 1.2.6]. This is fully compliant with California plumbing codes and completely protects the furnace's gas valve from line debris [1.2.5, 1.2.6]. - Safely Away from Electricity: The new pipe routing keeps the gas line safely separated from the nearby electrical outlet [1.1.2]. Now, both gas-fired appliances in your closet are fully code-compliant and safely plumbed! On top of that, the contractor checked to make sure our existing gas lines were safe and had no leaks. Reasonably priced and highly recommended!

I only learned that recently from another licensed plumber, which is why I reached back out to you with questions. I had no plan to hire you again. As for the earlier service issue, it didn't feel appropriate to confront you in my kitchen in the moment, but being charged $175 to fix a part that had failed only a few months after your installation didn't sit right with us. My review reflects those experiences honestly. I'm not questioning your intentions, but the outcome on our end wasn't what we expected, and that's what my review is based on. I'm also disappointed that this turned into a long back‑and‑forth over text asking me to remove an honest review. I wasn't looking for that, and I wasn't trying to debate anything privately.
