I'm happy to say the recommendations did not disappoint! The restaurant had a cozy, welcoming feel. Although we decided to order to go because of the rainy weather, the experience was still excellent. The staff member who helped us with our order was fantastic--she recommended several sides and sauces we wouldn't have chosen on our own, and they ended up being great additions. The food itself was incredible. Everything looked amazing, smelled even better, and tasted absolutely delicious. The portions were also larger than expected, which was a great bonus. Overall, it turned into the best rainy BBQ day I've ever had. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

I had a coconut water Jamaican drink and it was great, not a soda that is just loaded up with sugar and chemicals. A healthy refreshing drink. They had quite a variety of native Jamaican canned drinks and even canned coffee too. The Jamaican grocery in the rear of the building is loaded with bulk drinks, food and even authentic herbs and spices to make your own meals at home. Honestly, there was nothing extraordinary about it--it's what you'd expect from a fast casual barbecue place. It wasn't bad, but we were hoping for something more unique or special, given that we're in Tennessee. It filled us up for a late lunch, but probably won't make a return visit. What really stood out, though, was the warm lady behind the counter. Her genuine Southern hospitality made all the difference here worth the 3-star rating. That's about it--nothing more to add.
