They have a small but mighty variety of items, including home decor, purses, jewelry, cards and much more. You can tell everything in the store is uniquely curated. I found some brands I really love that I hadn't seen in a few years. Last but not least, the employee working at the store was kind and walked us through some of the items they carry. They offer gift wrapping and will wrap your flowers which is a lovely touch. I picked up some dried flowers and a card. They encouraged me to explore local shops across from them. We were greeted by a young lady but she quickly got overwhelmed, started to work with another couple and soon forgot about us. I didn't blame her she was just a little inexperienced & I was told they were short staffed for a few hours for an issue; I just came back on a week day. Magic Pen and Party is a great boutique to order or custom design your invitations. They have a large selection of invitations (better than most places), however after reviewing books upon books of invitations, I had a hard time finding my wedding colors, pistachio green and orange. I already formed an opinion of the things I liked in invitations, such as fold out with pockets, certain colors & metallic paper. So the associate suggested custom invitations. I worked with both Tiffany and the owner, Mary, depending who was working in the store that day. They are both great, gave undivided attention and had fabulous ideas. They worked with me on the font, size, design, layout, you name it. You can tell they enjoy what they do and seem to like the creativeness and working with people. Needless to say I was a bit high maintenance when it came to my invitations but they were gracious and even stayed late one night to finalize the project. I went ahead and paid for assembly as I had too many other concerns than to assemble them myself but but it was NICE option that I could do it myself and save some money if need be. The result? A fabulous invitation that I absolutely LOVED! I stepped in and immediately greeted by a young woman and two other women. I learned the owners were away at a conference but have been running the store for 45 years! I asked about their gifts, arts, books, etc. and found their prices to be the same as online and they can get anything within a week. My good friend just released a book and I encouraged them to have it on their bookshelf since it is getting rave reviews from Sean McDowell and people will be asking about it. It was amazing. I was able too to reset my energy level and get my chakras aligned and lord got out that negative energy. Bonnie was the instructor and she was amazing. The store is beautifully curated, and everything is displayed with so much care that I honestly didn't want to leave. I originally stopped in to pick up gifts, and one of my favorite touches was that they gift wrapped everything for me. It made me feel special as a customer, but it also saved me the extra stop of having to buy gift bags, paper, or tissue. Such a thoughtful service and honestly a brilliant touch. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. I could easily spend an hour in here just browsing, discovering little treasures, and enjoying all of the amazing scents throughout the store.
