Brought my Jeep in and knew exactly what I needed done. I just didn't want to do it. I told Miguel that I needed the fuel pump replaced. I had already priced the part before hand so I was surprised when after leaving my Jeep with him for 2 days that he wanted to put a 200 dollar fuel pump in it. The price markups are absurd at 50%. Anyway, after getting the repair done he was kind enough to bring my Jeep to me. Why am I leaving a 2 star review? Read on. First problem ended up being that the hose on the gas tank wasn't put on properly and caused me to fail smog. I fixed that however pretty easily. Now, just last week while driving my Jeep completely stalled out. After getting it home and diagnosing a few things it led me back to the fuel pump. I dropped the tank and pulled the pump out to find that the feeder hose had completely come off the tube inside the tank because the hose clamp wasn't tightened down properly. Along with that, one of the wires that connects to the pump had come off. I paid 300 dollars for this repair only to have to go back and fix all the mess ups. Miguel try's to update cheap replacements parts as higher quality to make extra money. Tried to do it to me, but he also did it to my buddy when replacing a sensor that costs 20 bucks max. His excuse for an 80 dollar sensor charge was "I got the best quality one". I will not ever bring another vehicle to this shop again so long as it's owned by Miguel. read more

So I bought a car from the owner who I know by Miguel. A 2011 BMW. For 3000 dollars. A few days after I bought the vehicle with nothing wrong with it the check engine light came on. He said it was a lose air injection so he tightened it and cleared the code. 3 days later it came on again and he didn't respond to my call or text. I checked it with a obd reader and 11 codes came up!!! What are the chances of them coming on 3 days after I bought the vehicle? I know he cleared the codes and sold it to me. Telling me it was a good running vehicle with nothing wrong with it. To be honest I don't like talking bad about people. But he lied to me to sell the car. I really don't understand how people have the heart to do things like this. Now I'm stuck without a vehicle after paying 3000 dollars of my hard earned money. You would think a running business like this would have honest people running it. Good luck to anybody that does business with him. read more

Say you matched ur prices with nearest gas stations and determined how low you can go without loosing profit. This review is on their service station. First off Pablo is a stand up guy. He is always happy to see you and will take a moment to answer quick questions about your vehicle no matter how busy he is. The guy runs a great shop & now has hired an extra employee because business for this little shop has been so good. The truck I choose to drive is no chick magnet, it's a Ford Ranger 4x4. Let's just say it was brand spanking new when Siamese Dream came out. It was my first truck, & a gift from someone even cooler than the Smashing Pumpkins. Pablo and his crew have done all the work on my truck since I moved to this side of town. I trust him. I know when he says something needs to be fixed, it does, but he'll always ask me first before any unknown repairs are done. That being said, the guy has also saved me some dollars on more than one occasion by either telling me it's a repair that is needed, or one that can possibly wait. Give this shop a try for sure. Always tough to find honest, talented mechanics who love what they do. read more

He was so awesome, told me to come down right when I called him and he changed my headlight that I was struggling to do myself in less than 10 minutes. They are under new management! The previous owner was a liar. The new guy managing the shop is awsome! We went in for a smog check and he didn't give us the," Oh you did not pass, if you want to pay extra $$, we'll fix the problem then you'll pass the next smog test." He told us exactly what we needed to do to pass the smog test, which was drive around a couple minutes before taking it to get smog tested, and we passed! I just went in for an oil change, and he told me my battery looks new, but my engine light is going off because of the battery, but if it starts up oky, I dont have to worry about it. My family loves his honesty! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP! read more

While the mechanic claimed to be very honest, he does not stand behind his work. My husband's car broke down near Bennett Valley 76 and they replaced the inertia switch. Communication with the mechanic was good while repairs were being made, however when my husband's car broke down again 3 days after the repair was made, he would not do even a partial refund for us, instead offering a few oil changes. Our repair at Bennett Valley 76 cost 300 dollars. A few oil changes is not a good compensation for the money we lost. We are taking our vehicle to the Midas on College instead. I was disappointed and do not trust Bennett Valley 76 for future repairs. read more
