I wish I could give this location a zero. Many weeks ago I went to get gas and one of the cashiers was yelling and screaming at a customer like he wanted to fight. The lady cashier had to retain him and calm him down. He has nothing but a bad attitude. I went in there today and and paid for my stuff and gas and the total was 27.34. I gave him 33.00 dollars and he gave me just change back no bill and when I questioned him he said I gave him 30.00 dollars if that was the case why give me just change and not the bills? It's not the change that matters it was his thug want a be attitude. I pumped gas and purchased a $7.00 express car wash...Received a discount on each gallon of gas for purchase of the car wash. Nice! The express car wash was perfect and my car looks super clean including the rims and tires are shiny. Yay!!! I love a good deal! Much better value for your $ than the $12.95 I spent at Splash express and my rims were still dirty! read more

My review is for the car wash - it has improved. I have visited two more times to see if my experience would change. It did. Both times, the $7.00 express wash worked out fine. I would advise that if you go there and there is a line, be prepared to wait a 10-15 minutes, but it is a reasonable car wash for sure. read more

This gas station always contends for the highest price per gallon in Santa Rosa. Credit card price vs. cash will rip you off another 15 cents / gallon. The drive thru car wash used to be free with a fill up over 12 gallons. Now it is $8. The wash doesn't get $8 worth of dirt off my car. Mini franchise Subway sandwich station inside the mini-mart. Mini-mart itself is pretty ho-hum. The Flying A station is 2 blocks away. It's locally owned, has a better mini-mart, has a spotlessly clean restroom. The gas is always 20 cents per gallon cheaper. It's one of the big oil company gas stations so it's overpriced compared to a Costco or an Arco. It is cheaper than the other gas station (Chevron) in Rincon Valley and it offers a nice discount on gas when you buy a car wash. It is not a touch less car wash but it does a decent job. The best part... The soap smells like bubble gum! Open your vents and crank up the air flow to get maximum bubble gum smell into your car. Yum! read more

Extremely helpful staff. My truck broke down nearby. Man at the counter was very helpful, found the number for cab and helped me get in touch with AAA towing. Had just tried getting help at the seven eleven nearby and was left wondering how he could even do his job. Great service and always buy fuel from them. Went to fill up in at the most expensive gas station around to get the car wash. Oops ...clerk says it's not working, doesn't offer a voucher for another day either. Doesn't give me the lower price for doing the car wash deal either Would they, could they put up an out of Order sign?!?! Filled my gas tank all right. Pump didn't stop and spilled gas all over my car and concrete. I wouldn't normally complain but, I went inside to tell person who works here and they seemed to not care. I told them a fire might start and my car was soaked in gas. I asked if he had a towel or solution to my problem and he said he would clean ground when I left. So I sacrificed a towel of my own to wipe gas off my car, shoes, hands and whatever else while employree set out a cone. Nice. read more

I purchased a car wash and after waiting for 40 MINUTES the wash didn't start when it was my turn. At that point I was running late for an appointment and unfortunately had to just leave without the wash. I called the store as I pulled out of the parking lot and explained what had happened and that I needed to come back another time. The man on the phone said it was fine. I wasn't able to make it back until 2 days later. When I arrived, a man was sitting outside the store on top of a vehicle blasting music with vulgar lyrics. I walked into the shop and was surprised when the man sitting on the car followed me inside and went behind the counter. He apparently was the clerk. I was appalled at the complete lack of professionalism and his horrendous attitude. He didn't bother smiling or greeting me politely but instead said "yeah?" I explained what had happened with the car wash and he said he would not help me and said I had to come back the next day to talk to the manager. I explained I was not able to come back for a third time because of my busy schedule and just asked if it was possible to get the car wash I had paid for. I explained I had called and spoken with someone who told me I could come back. He asked who I spoke with and I told him it I didn't have the name but I had spoken with a man, and he said sarcastically "yeah all the people who work here are men." He then accused me of trying to get a second free wash and raised his voice over mine and would not let me finish a sentence. When I asked his name, he began to ignore me and pulled another customer up to cut in front of me. I have never been treated this way in my life and was blown away by his agression and refusal to provide an ounce of customer service. The best part about this gas station is the location, but that's about it. Service from the cashiers- HORRIBLE! Every time I've had to pay in cash they are rude and far from helpful when you ask them a simple question. I understand the employees probably make minimum wage at service stations, so I do my best to be polite and thankful. Just the other day, I paid for a premium level carwash, but the air dryer did not work. SO my car looked worse than it did before I drove thru. I explained this to the cashier. Assuming by his timid temperament, he was probably a new employee. He confessed there have been several complaints about the malfunctioning dryer, but was UNABLE to help me with my issue. I stated "You guys should have a sign, saying the dryer is not working" . The manager heard me, and quickly escorted me outside, tried to convince me that this was a new way to dry ..."air dry". I asked for my money back, and he refused. I was late for church so I just had to drive away. I'm in the process of contacting the owners, but haven't had time. The manager is a scam artist. He could have easily solved the issue by giving me my money back and prevented future issues by putting a sign. I understand it's not a regular carwash, but your car should not come out worse than entering the apparatus. It's not about the money, I strongly believe you should get the service you are promised. read more

I had stopped in here a few times for gas or beverages and always found the people working there to be friendly or helpful. But it was my recent experience with the Subway counter that really inspired me to write a review for this location A few days ago I went in to get a foot long Subway sandwich. The guy behind the counter loaded up the bread with everything I requested. Then as we reached the end of the assembly line he accidentally grabbed the wrong squeeze bottle and gave my sandwich a long shot of the chipotle sauce instead of the sweet onion sauce I requested. When I reminded him I had asked for sweet onion sauce he agreed and looked at me in a puzzled way that indicated he didn't realize he had (innocently) grabbed the wrong bottle. Then he looked down and shook his head upon realizing his mistake. It was not even remotely a big deal to me and the woman working the cash register made fun of him about the error. I told him it was fine and I would still happily eat the sandwich. When I went to the register to pay the cashier only charged me for my drink and wouldn't charge me for the sandwich because of the mistake. Three times I tried to explain that it was NOT a big deal and I was totally willing to pay for the sandwich. Each time I insisted on paying she insisted the sandwich would be free. Now THAT, my friends, is old-school customer service; going above and beyond to make the customer happy, even when the customer was _already_ happy. I believe it's just as important to catch people in the act of doing things RIGHT instead of only just criticizing people when they do things poorly. This Valero/Subway visit was an excellent reminder of the importance of reinforcing the good things people do. They are definitely going to get repeat business from me. :) read more

I went in on 7/12/15 at 5 pm to get a sandwhich and usually the ladies at subway are nice but today there was not the usual ladies shes was rude and her talking to the cashier about me their customer while I was still in the store. The guy cashier was rude as hell didnt even tell me my total and wen he went to give me my change he handed it to me and pulled away . The whole staff sucks there is this older lady that works in the subway part and she is SO rude.She completely ignored me when I was ordering my sandwich and just put whatever she wanted to. Most of the ladies that work in the subway part are pretty rude. On a separate occasion i went in for a sandwich after getting gas and this huge lady was very obnoxious making conversation with the cashier for the of the gas station saying what or huh after everything I said. There is also a very rude lady named patty that is very discusting if I see her working I turn around and walk out. and one last rude lady that i completely cant stand is one of the cashiers for the gas station she is rude and not worth my money or time I dont even think she knows how to smile or say hello or even act like she likes her life after dealing with this women I could never bring myself to come in here again which is a shame because the owner is a delight but there are way to many rude barbaric women that work there to spend my money if these women were maybe sweeping the parking lot or working on the car wash it would be worth it. But Ana and Patty the wide beast of a woman and the older rude crusty woman are not worth my time or energy. Deluxe car wash $8 used to get the car clean with several passes of the brushes. Now, for the same price, you get one pass back and forth and a dry. The car comes out with the bird poo still in place and soap left there to harden in the sun. I was not aware that the operation had been cut so drastically. Don't bother trying to explain the lack of effectiveness to the person at the desk. He was very defensive and had other answers that I should try in addition to the car wash, like go to a different car wash.... That the soap, rinse and wax is all in one pass now. The soap left on the car did not merit because "if it didn't rinse, you would have soap ALL over your car." Okay, so why is this car wash worth $8? I felt it very poor customer service and a rip-off. Now that I'm here on Yelp, I am aware that other people have noticed the same thing. I will not use this car wash anymore. There's a good Valero car wash in Novato off of Rowland. I wanted a car wash and the gas discount but didn't know how to go about it. No instructions at the pump. I asked inside and the fellow asked how much gas I wanted. I said I wanted a fill up and didn't know how many gallons that would be. He insisted that I had to specify the # of gallons, so I guessed eight. I chose the $6 car wash with it so he asked which pump I was at. I wasn't at a pump yet and didn't know I had to be. I looked out and chose a pump where no one was parked yet, so I had to pay up front, jump in the car and race to the pump before someone else got there because it had been discounted and was waiting for me, it wasn't explained if the pump would stop at 8 gallons, how to use the car wash afterwards (I found a code on my receipt by myself) AND the car wash did an absolutely terrible job. My car still had a film of dirt after I got out. This place needs to post instructions clearly at the pump and at the counter how to do all of this, plus fix the wimpy car wash! read more
