I have been for multiple services now and they are always friendly, reliable and have great pricing. A great, trustworthy shop!

I've had many different services done at BNC. Every time was a good experience. They treat me right and I never feel taken advantage of, good pricing. read more

They are reasonable in todays world , they are honest and get it done . I've been here 4 times recently, still waiting on quotes from Toyota, done already at BNC ----OEM ! ( paid xtra) I'll be back!!!!!! read more

The shop may look older and you might think this is a bad place. No way. They worked on my cars. I only have one car but I have been coming here with 3 different cars. Jeremy and Avid are very professional and try hard to get you in and are very friendly. The work is always done right and they don't charge a lot like the dealer does . Try them, you will like them. read more

I came in for their coupons and have returned (numerous times!) for their excellent mechanical skills, friendly customer service and very reasonable rates. I now rely on them for all of my automotive needs. Updated: 2023-09-25 I posted the above comments a little over a year ago and they have stood the test of time, they are truer than ever!! Michael, Nick, Paul & the rest of the staff have continued to do a superb job!! As we all know, car "problems" can be a major headache. It's a great relief to know that I can depend upon these folks to expertly handle those issues!! Many thanks!! read more

It's early to give a thorough review as I've only gotten an estimate on brake issues on my car. But the customer service is awesome. I had done a bit of homework and received quotes from my own dealership for the work that needs to be done and this place had given me a straight, accurate, and fair pricing for the job off the jump. So as a wary guy, I am happy to bring my business to BNC. Scheduled another appointment for an engine diagnostic as well. I am really impressed. As far as the work being done, I'll update but I was referred here by a friend so I am very sure the work will be great. I do believe the owners name is Avid so thank you very much! Very accommodating and is the kind of guy you can grab a beer with. read more

Hello everyone, it is not often that I give a 5 star review to any company. Especially companies in the auto care industry. We all know that they can be misleading and oftentimes very untruthful. However, I am happy to tell you about BNC Auto Care In Sonoma County, California. First of all, when I arrived. The owner came to me and I went over the issues that I was having with my vehicle. I had no idea why My truck would not start. I had gone through all different sorts of things. Changing the fuel pump changing the feel filter. Changing the battery among other things. Nonetheless, I left my truck with these gentlemen yesterday. Today at 5 o'clock, I picked up my truck and everything was fixed. I had the best customer service experience that a guy could ask for and my truck is running in tiptop Condition. Thank you guys for all your help. read more

Very disappointed in the service and the mechanics there I take my car to get a oil change. Nothing was wrong with it and I ended up having to have it towed out of there because they stripped the plug. I've taken it to other shops and they have never caused damage to my vehicle and I ended up from a simple $95 oil change to a $800 bill and I pulled my vehicle out of there very unprofessional and there's only youngsters working there. I don't even think they've gone to AUTOMOTIVE school . read more

I came here today and left with a big smile. My go to place now for sure, easy to speak with and did an excellent job with my brake job and oil change. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff is good, owner is super nice and trust worthy, and they give you the best price anyone can offer. Living in Santa Rosa I would not take my vehicle anywhere else read more

Mike was great and even went out of his way for us on his day off. We go to BNC auto care and are always satisfied with their quality and customer service. read more

I went to the BNC on East Todd road for an oil change. I have no money to speak of so I told them I could only afford the oil change and would have to do the emissions next time. They changed my oil and when I got home I looked at the engine and they had repaired a leak on the top and also on the bottom. They never mentioned it and figured that I wouldn't notice. I did notice and thought that if anyone wants to find a truly honest mechanic, it would be there. read more

A coupon brought us to BNC but Michael's customer service, thoroughness, fairness and friendliness will keep us coming back and spreading the word to others. Michael and his staff were amazing, very knowledgeable, super friendly and kept in great communication with us as we had several things wrong with our vehicle. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust. Our last mechanic retired so we have been a little lost since then but now we are feeling confident we have found our new go to shop. Best coupon I have ever redeemed! read more

What a rip off! They messed with my spark plugs, which messed up my car.i had to buy new ones. They overflowd my car with oil. They had my car up on one side to "work on it". I definitely don't recommend to bring your car here. Unless you want more problems. read more

At first, I had a trust concerns and would only consider Oil Change & perhaps Smog @ BNC! Michael & others in the office were always pleasant & would kindly provide a list of general mechanical concerns on my aging vehicle's. I never felt pressured to have add'l work done. Finally, to my surprise, after tune-ups, 2 Brake Jobs, Misc, etc., I'm very happy with the Mechanical skills and their competitive rates. I always feel like they are genuine and being honest with me about the repairs & quotes! I will continue to happily depend upon BNC for my future vehicle maintenance. Now I usually arrive with a box of donuts to share in the coffee area, a chair & a book. Thx Michael & BNC Crew! Paul Lashley, Cotati read more

Went in to get a smog done. They told me that I needed to go to their other location for cars 1999 and older. I drive all the way to their other location for them to tell me they don't do smog on cars 1999 and older either. Huge waste of time read more

I've been to BNC twice and I won't be returning. Their oil changes are cheaper than most places I've been, and that's the reason I came back the second time. No issue with my oil. However, both times I came in for an oil change, they told me I had a huge issue that turned out to be not true. I can't remember what is was the first time, but the second time they told me that my water tube needed to be replaced immediately or my transmission would be damaged. $600+ repair. My dad is an auto body technician and has been for over 30 years. I always have him double check everything and everything was fine. I was about to drop $600 the next day for a repair I didn't need yet they said was urgent and important. I like their oil changes and they are nice people but after two false claims about my car I won't be returning. In response to the reply: It should be in the system because the part was ordered and the appointment was made. I have a 2012 chevy Cruze. My oil change was done on May 17. read more

BNC is a family run Auto Repair. MIchael Ive know for over 10 years. Go in and talk to him; see for yourself his integrity. They are from Switzerland. Most dont know that. I say this because BNC brings Swiss integrity accuracy and perfection to their work. Ive had my 1997 4Runner serviced here for many years, and both Lexus Ive owned as well. They work fast...they are very friendly....their prices are very reasonable. HIghly recommended. Most of their customers become friends. read more

Mike and avi are the best. They are honest and do great work . Never pressure you into anything and have competitive pricing . I will always trust them read more

I keep meaning to tell you about the experience I had at BNC on Calistoga Road (not the one on Todd Rd.). I went there to get my oil changed, when I was getting my car ready to drive to Colorado back at the end of February. I told them I was taking a long trip, to frigid weather, asked whether I should change the weight of my oil, etc. They said no, what I was using should be fine. So, as I was waiting for my car, I was listening to the manager talk to someone on the phone who was inquiring about getting his oil changed. The manager went on, blah blah blah, and then said something like, well, some customers want us to drain all the oil and put in all new oil. I was thinking - who doesn't want that? Of course you want all new oil and a new filter! Doesn't that go without saying? Well, later I looked at my work order, and sure enough, they had put ONE QUART of oil in my car, just TOPPED IT OFF on the old oil, even with everything I told them. And, of course, they charged me the full price. Needless to say, I will never go there again! read more

Ive been a loyal customer of BNC since they first opened. Mike and Avid are friendly and always take good care of me and my car. Im completely clueless when it comes to auto repairs and they are always more than willing to let me go into the shop and have one of the mechanics actually show me and explain whats going on with my car. I trust BNC with my car and I recommend them to everyone I know. read more

Wow! That's how I'd describe this place in one word. Michael at the front was NOTHING short of friendly and helpful. It's great to have somebody like that to help you out. While my jeep was getting the oil changed, he was wonderfully talkative and full of energy. The prices are pretty great too. $28 for an oil change, with an extra quart and all my fluids topped off. It's hard to beat that. Their smog rates are good too, and the labor charge per hour is $90- a very fair price when others want upwards of $120+ BNC has all of my future business, without a doubt. read more

BNC is my auto repair shop of choice I started coming to BNC years ago because of a coupon for a great price for an oil change. I have been coming back for all my auto care ever since. What stands out for me starts when you arrive- Michael is super friendly and is an amazing multi-tasker (and remembers you each time you come in!) Many times I have thought there was something wrong with my car and BNC could easily have agreed with me to make some money for themselves, but often after they have explored my engine, have told me that repair is not needed at this time. I have witnessed this same thing happening numerous times with other customers. To find an auto repair shop you can trust is huge! The prices are always less than other estimates I have gotten. Now both my kids and many of my friends come only to BNC for their auto care. read more

I discovered BNC Auto Care when I was looking at apartments in Santa Rosa. On my apartment hunting trip, I ran into an issue with my car and was referred to BNC Auto Care by the person showing me the apartment. I gave them a call and Michail (the owner) answered and was able to fit me in right away. Long story short, I eventually found an apartment in Santa Rosa and have been going to BNC Auto Care ever since. Michail and his team are professional, friendly, knowledgable and most importantly, they care! read more

I called to make an appointment to have my wife's 2013 Turbo Beetle rear brake light replaced. I had called a dealership about it and was told I had to make an appointment a week in advance and it would take up to two hours. BNC had me bring the car down within 30 minutes of my call to check it out. I imagined about a 2 hour wait but when I arrived they saw me immediately and changed out the bulb in under ten minutes! This is one of the best experiences I've had at an auto repair shop. Granted it was a simple bulb replacement but the customer service was excellent and it was extremely easy to find (literally right off of the freeway). read more

Called at 11:30 to get a pre-purchase inspection on a Honda Fit we were considering from Craigslist. The took us 45 minutes later and charged $99 for the hour long inspection. The Fit had over 150,000 miles but seemed like it drove straight, idled smoothly, shifted fine and handled well. My wife even said, "do we even need an inspection, it seems great!" But there were a couple things that called out for attention and we figured it would justify asking for a lower price by as much as the inspection or find something about it to suggest avoiding the buy ... And we sure did avoid this one! Transmission fluid leaking from multiple spots, brakes poorly adjusted from shade-tree mechanic install, suspension issues, compression uneven between cylinders, and more. All stuff we couldn't see without their tools and car lift. We were disappointed because we'd been looking at so many used cars that we thought we had the one when we really had a dud. But with BNC's help we avoided a serious and costly mistake. read more

They have a place on Calistoga Road near Hwy 12 too. They always do good work, fast and at a resonable price. Front Brakes done for 50 each side = 100 plus parts 150 out the door 1 hour and 10 mins.......... Thanks again guys! read more

Beyond phenomenal!!! Honest, trustworthy and inexpensive... Extremely blessed to have been referred to them. read more

Michael is wonderful. Every time I bring my car in for something he really treats you (and your car) as if it was his own. Great advice and I trust them. Fast service and I don't feel like I'm being gauged $$. Regular oil changes, tire rotations and the occasional check up, BNC on Todd Road is my spot!! read more

My car broke down in the area, and both tow trucks that showed up recommended I go to BNC. It was a great decision as they are nice, sincere, and have reasonable prices. There is a reason everyone likes this place so much. read more

I am new to Santa Rosa and had to get smog certificates for two older vehicles. BNC on Calistoga Road did the smog for them and I found them to be honest and knowledgable. There was an issue with obtaining the Smog Certificate on one of the vehicles and they gave me credit for a free oil change for the extra effort that it took to resolve the problem. A small part was lost accidentally, while doing the smog, on the other vehicle and they paid me cash to buy the part on-line. I have worked as a mechanic in a repair shop and I know when I am being treated fairly as a customer. Avid and Eddie, at BNC treated me fairly and I will be going to them with future repairs, that I cannot do myself. I read all of their reviews and let me say this: No person or business is perfect but if that person or business can learn from their mistakes and try to make it right with a customer then they are doing it correctly. BNC is successful because they are doing a good job the vast majority of the time. Maybe they can get a larger space sometime in the future because their good reputation is bringing in more and more customers. I would give them a five if their working space was larger to accommodate all of their business. read more

I got referred to BNC by a coworker after I moved into the area from Sacramento. I drive my car a lot for work so it's imperative that I keep all of the maintenance on my car. Michael and Jeremy took care of me from the moment I walked in, they were very attentive, and friendly. Every time I take my car in everything gets taken care of and they don't try to take advantage of me and fix things that are unnecessary or can be held off on. Thanks BNC! read more

Very unhappy with this place I did an oil change with them and they left my engine 2 quarts low which basically could've seriously damaged my engine if I didn't check the oil to see what level it was at shortly after they changed it read more

Great people, great prices....good to find an honest mechanical shop to work with! The shop is always busy...get their early!!

These guys are effing awesome they squeezed me in on the weekend before Christmas did all my breaks gave me a smokin deal and couldn't squeeze me in for an oil change but told me to come back and they would hook me up. After calling about twenty mechanics this morning these guys took me in and kicked ass.! PS I don't know what they put in the coffee over there but it's working read more

I've been taking my Subaru Outback here for a couple years now, for oil changes mostly (great price) and have also had an axle and rear brakes replaced. I go to BNC over and over again because I don't know ANYTHING about cars, so I really need to trust my mechanics. I trust the people at BNC to tell me what I actually need and do a good job. I recommend them to all my friends. read more

I really, really like this place. I have been a loyal customer for a long time...many years ago my friend recommended them to me. You just can't beat the prices and the customer service. Bill has always been so nice and there is also a lady that works there. I can't remember her name, but she is also sweet. I will continue to go here and tell my friends all about it as well. read more

I brought my car in for an A/C service, when I got the car back the side rear view mirror was broken. The shop was closed when I picked up the car from their premises, so I took lots of pictures and brought a witness. The owners agreed to pay for the damage, however a week later the wife of one of the owners asked me to come in, and proceeded to insult me, She said: "I know your kind!" and I am not paying for the repair". I am now taking them to small claims, and the A/C only worked for 1 week, they also refused to make good on their a/c services. I do not recommend this company at all. Wife is very racist! read more

I have been coming to get my maintenance check and oil changes and basically any car repairs here for a while and I am extremely pleased with their service. They are fast and reliable and I feel they never try to sell me anything I don't need. They are very accommodating and try their best to make time for you. Very happy customer :) read more

I have been a loyal customer to these guys for over 5 years last year i got my oil changed, and 4 days later my engine blew, i didn't really think that much about it until yesterday when my NEW TRUCK started leaking oil bad, this time i took it into the place i got it from where i found out that the douche bags at BNC hadn't tightened my oil filter. Thank god i checked on it sooner rather than later or BNC auto would have destroyed 2 of my vehicles, neither if which i could really afford to replace read more
